Despite rumors the couple might be ready to split, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden seemed to be still completely in love with each other judging by these photos taken at UNICEF’s Light The Night Christmas lighting ceremony.

Nicole is definitely a lucky woman! She got the cutest of the Madden twins too (take that Paris Hilton!!) and they have a 10 month-old daughter, Harlow Winter Madden. I have read somewhere (can’t remember where! I read a lot, ok?) that they want to expand the family with one condition: Nicole wants to get married!!

I’m cheering for them! Nicole and Joel sure make a cute couple and of course we want to see those precious wedding photos!!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were seen going out for lunch yesterday in San Fernando Valley. I think the two of them make such a cute couple, unlike some people. Nicole looks super cute in that outfit. I don’t know how she manages to be able to pull off anything that she wears.

Nicole seem so much more mature now since she has had the baby and her performance on Chuck rocked! She should get her own show for sure!

Nicole Richie (former The Simple Life star and girlfriend to Joel Madden) is thinking about adopting a child. But uh oh, Joel may not be on-board.

“Nicole is seriously looking into it and asking a lot of questions about adopting. Nicole has been visiting Beyond Shelter in Los Angeles two or three times a week and spends a couple of hours with homeless children. She loves being around them.”

However, the source also mentioned that Richie’s boyfriend/babydaddy Joel Madden isn’t yet on board with the whole plan. “I don’t know how keen her boyfriend is on the idea. Still Nicole is determined.”

I hope Nicole is able to convince Joel to adopt… There are millions of orphans in the world that need a good home, and Lord knows they could provide for a few extra kids!

Nicole Richie is seriously considering giving her 9 month-old daughter, Harlow Winter, a sibling. Since she is certainly not going to get pregnant so soon after recovering her skeletor shape, Nicole is sincerely thinking about adopting an orphan.

According to a Star Magazine scoop, Nicole is “seriously looking into it and asking a lot of questions about adopting.”

“Nicole has been visiting Beyond Shelter in L.A two or three times a week and spends a couple of hours with homeless children. She loves being around them.”

Nicole is completely dedicated to her charity organization, the Richie Madden Foundation. She was also adopted at a young age by famous singer/songwriter Lionel Richie and that put together was probably the biggest inspiration for desire to adopt.

It seems like Nicole is determined to convince her baby’s daddy, Joel Madden, to go forward with the adoption process. “I don’t know how keen her boyfriend is on the idea. Still Nicole is determined.” – says a source.

Just how domesticated is Nicole Richie?  She makes her own baby food for little Harlow!

“Food tastes better coming from your Mom because it’s made with love,” says the new mom, 27. So Richie purees steamed vegetables to make homemade baby food… she…mashes up everything from apples to green beans and bananas for her daughter.

Dad Joel Madden thinks it’s great.

“We talk about it all the time,” says the Good Charlotte frontman, 29. “It’s an energy thing. I know exactly what’s going into [Harlow's] body.”

I applaud them for feeding their child the most natural food possible!  But it’s still hard to picture Nicole Richie as THAT much of an earth mama!!

Star is reporting Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s relationship is on the rocks, mostly because they don’t seem to understand each other and Mischa Barton has gotten in the way.

After a bitter fight with Joel Madden, Nicole Richie packed her bags — and their daughter! — and headed to her mom’s. But things only got worse when she caught Joel with… Mischa Barton.

For months they’d been fighting over everything from marriage to moving, but Nicole and Joel’s strained relationship hit a new low when, during yet another battle, she screamed at him, “We’re through,” and fled to her mother’s home, taking their daughter, Harlow, with her, a friend tells Star. Although Nicole returned the next day, “This was her way of sending Joel a message,” says the pal. “Nicole loves him, but things need to change.”

Couples fight, so what?? It doesn’t mean they are breaking up or that Joel is gonna jump Mischa. Why would he do that? Nicole is much hotter… Mischa is a mess!

And despite his relationship with Nicole hanging by a thread, Joel partied like he didn’t have a care in the world — with Nicole pal Mischa! Days earlier, Mischa had broken up with boyfriend, Taylor Locke and that night she was front-row center at the show, dancing seductively for Joel, says a source. “He kept checking out Mischa and smiling at her.”

It’s probably nothing… by now they are happy, kissing and making up!

Joel Madden finally married Nicole Richie! It’s about time…or is it? Joel blogged that he finally made Nicole his wife by getting married to her and then said it was a joke! It was all because of an article that Star magazine wrote about them tying the knot.

So i feel really stupid even posting this, but i’ve been getting calls and texts from my family all week asking me why they weren’t invited to my wedding. I guess the only answer i could give them was that i didnt know we were having one. So i just found out that star magazine wrote some story about a 2 MILLION dollar wedding we are supposed to be having, and thats where it came from. Sooooo if you were pissed at me for not inviting you or even telling you, dont blame me, theres nothing to worry about. Its just star magazine. How long do you think it will be before they write we called it off, or we broke up? i give them a week or two……

I actually think Joel Madden is cool now. He even posted a wedding picture of the two of them too! I’m sure these two will get married…when they are ready.

Joel Madden is throwing his support behind Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.  Asked why, he said:

“He is a good man, he is cool … He is just a great person overall.”

I happen to agree that he’s cool, but this comment leaves me wondering whether Joel even knows a speck about Obama’s politics.

Girlfriend Nicole Richie has already endorsed the Illinois senator.

It’s never too early to attend your first music festival, right?  At least that’s daddy Joel Madden’s philosophy.  He took three and a half month old Harlow and mom Nicole Richie to the Southern California desert to hang out at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this weekend!

“[Nicole] hasn’t been able to do a whole lot over the year, so we’re having a little family trip,” Madden told PEOPLE at the BPM Hpnotiq Smurf House, where he DJ’d a festival pre-party Saturday afternoon.

I’m sure this is only the first of many cool experiences in the life of little Harlow.  Ah, to be a celebrity baby!

I keep seeing this story come up today…This is from the most recent place I saw it:

When Nicole Richie went shopping on Melrose yesterday to buy goodies for babydaddy Joel Madden’s 29th birthday, she left a little something unexpected behind.

The new mom was forced to make an abrupt departure from a high end boutique after her pet pooch cocked its leg up and let ‘er rip all over an expensive purple dress.

Luckily for Nicole, she was able to make a swift exit and the sales reps were none the wiser.

I’m having a really hard time believing the story. And I agree with the comment that someone left behind at the blog I got this from that Nicole doesn’t own a chihuahua. Two…Now they have photo evidence. Three…Is this from Ashton Kutcher’s show? Four…are we always going to wonder now if anything is for real or not, because of Ashton?? Five…What do you think?

New parents often gush lovely stories about their child and Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are no different. Their daughter, Harlow Winter is the focus of their attention and they couldn’t be happier.

“Me and her mother feel like the luckiest two people alive right now,” the Good Charlotte front man wrote on his clothing company’s Web site on Wednesday. “This time in our life has been amazing. We both look at our little girl every single moment every day and know there is nothing we wouldn’t do to protect her and her perfect little innocence. It seems like you turn on the TV, or get online, and it’s all bad news.”

Hopefully Richie stays on the path she’s on now and has really given up her partying ways to be a great mom. Good luck to the happy new parents!

Nicole Richie has given birth today at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. She had a baby girl, and she and beau Joel Madden have named her Harlow Winter Kate Madden, and she weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz.

Their spokesperson said, “The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents.”

Congratulations!

Cedars has seen a lot of babies today!. Not only did Richie pop, but so did Christina Aguilera, Courtney Thorne-Smith, and  Christine Y. Kim, who is David Alan Grier’s wife! Babies everywhere!

Turning over a new leaf, soon-to-be-mom Nicole Richie and her baby(ies?) daddy Joel Madden have launched a new project named the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation at the LA Free Clinic. They held a private baby shower with 100 expectant mothers today.
