Justin Bieber showed his fans the bottom line today when he tweeted a photo of his half-naked ass.

That’s the whole story.

Kidding… but only a little.  The Biebs did, in fact, post a photo of himself mooning the camera.  The pic shows him from behind, looking over his shoulder while pulling down his pants to reveal about half of his butt crack.

He deleted the picture, but not before it got a lot of attention.  It received somewhere between 15,000 and 86,000 likes, and about 2,700 comments before it was removed.

It appears the pic was a joke between Bieber and his manager, Scooter Braun.  Braun responded to the post in kind:

as a prankster u have to respect another good prank. only makes sense. #crackdealer

Last fall, Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin took a lot of abuse when she was suspected of stealing Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez.  Now she wants to let the world know her side of the story, which is, essentially:  “I’M INNOCENT.”  Palvin spoke with Celebuzz recently to clear her name and explain what really happened – or didn’t – between her and the Biebs.

It all started with a picture, taken backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where Bieber was a musical guest.   Palvin posted it to Instagram, and that’s when all hell broke loose.   She told Celebuzz:

“You know how the drama started — Selena retweeted the picture.”

The Hungarian model is clear, though, that her only interest in Bieber was as his fan.

“I wanted to meet him real bad. I watched his movie [Justin Bieber: Never Say Never] and I was like, ‘He’s such a cool kid, I want to meet him.’ And then when I did at the [Victoria’s Secret] show we met and of course we had a conversation and then I took the picture with him.”

And what about their supposed “date” to see The Lion King on Broadway?

“It was my sister’s first time in New York and we so wanted to go to Broadway, but there were no more tickets.  I just came up and was telling him, ‘My sister is here, but she’s sad because we can’t go to Broadway, no more tickets.’ And he was like, ‘Well, I can get you one.’ And his friends came . . . like six people and then me, my sister and agent. So friends.  [After the show] we were just like okay, nice to meet you, that was fun, and then bye.”

That opportunistic move earned her death threats.  But it’s OK, because her conscience is clear.

“I’m okay to talk about it because I know there’s nothing. It’s ridiculous how this got to the news.”

Jelena’s breakup didn’t last long, and neither did their rekindled relationship:  they’ve called it quits again.  Do you think they’ll give it another try, or are they done for good?  And now that there’s nothing standing in the way of Bieber and Palvin getting together, do you think they should? Only a few days into a new year and Justin Bieber is surrounded by a pot smoking controversy, which coincidentally, could help sell his upcoming acoustic album.

You know what else could help promote that? A gig hosting and performing on SNL where he can mock his ‘troubles’. The teen singer has reportedly told the producers that nothing is off limits – including his little beer and blunt escapade.

Bieber follows Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, Garth Brooks and Mick Jagger as double duty hosts.

Other hosts this year include The Hunger Games: Catching Fire star Jennifer Lawrence on Jan 19th with The Lumineers performing. Adam Levine and musical guest Kendrick Lamar take the reins on January 26th.

La Biebs will take the helm of the long-running show on February 9th. His album Believe, Acoustic – hits January 29th.

Justin Bieber may have been snapped partying with a blunt in one hand and a beer in the other, but he’s promised fans he’ll mend his wicked ways. (See photos here.)  This weekend, he tweeted several messages to his Beliebers assuring them that he’s ready to get down to business.   Among them:

Justin Bieber brought his swag to Beliebers in Sunrise, Florida when he appeared at the Y100 Jingle Ball on Saturday night.    The Biebs co-hosted the concert, which featured performers PSY, Ke$ha and Enrique Iglesias.   Last year, Bieber rang in the New Year with a performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.  What’s he got up his sleeve for NYE this year?  He told GossipCenter:

“I’ll probably be with friends and family you know, like every year and just bringing in the New Year with the people I love.”

Will one of those people be Selena Gomez?  Hmmm….

The 2013 Grammy Awards nominations were announced last night in Nashville and there are quite a few major artists left off the list year.

Taylor Swift & L L Cool J kicked things off as co-hosts of the 2013 Grammy Nominations Concert Live! at the Bridgestone Arena which brought out Adam Levine and Maroon 5, Ne-Yo, Dierks Bentley and The Band Perry taking the stage.

Leading the pack with six nominations were Jay-Z, Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, fun., Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean & Kanye West.

Those missing some Grammy love – Justin Bieber, One Direction & Nicki Minaj are just a few of the artists who aren’t going to be recognized with an award this year.

Beliebers made it happen: Justin Bieber‘s army of fans made him the big winner at last night’s American Music Awards.  He took home three awards, including Favorite Pop/Rock Album – for Believe – Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, and Favorite Artist Of The Year.  Upon accepting his first award of the night, Bieber said:

  “This is for all the haters who thought that maybe I was just here for one or two years. I feel like I’m going to be here for a very long time.”

Newly single, the young pop star brought his mom, Pattie Mallette, as his date for the evening.  She stood on stage with her son as he accepted his second award, directing his appreciation to her, saying, “Thank you for always believing in me.”

Nicki Minaj was the only other artist to approach Bieber’s wins, scoring two awards:  Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist, and Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Album (for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded). Taylor Swift continued her domination as Favorite Country Female Artist, winning in that category for the fifth year in a row.

This year’s show featured a new category, Electronic Dance Music.  The award went to French DJ and house music producer David Guetta.

The romance is over for one of Hollywood’s cutest young couples.  E! is reporting that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have split.

E!’s source says the pair’s busy schedules were too much for these two youngsters, and that they ended it about a week ago.  However, social media may tell a different story.   Model Barbara Palvin tweeted a photo of herself and Bieber backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.  To be fair, she posted equally cozy photos of herself with Alfredo Flores, photographer Russell James,  Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun and Bruno Mars.) The model also turned up in the background of a photo of Bieber with the rapper Lil Twist.   This last photo got Gomez’ attention; she re-posted it with the comment “……”.

But that’s not all.  Bieber was also spotted out last night at the Lion King Broadway show, in a group of people that included Palvin.

As you can imagine, both Bieber and Palvin’s social media accounts are flooded with nasty comments today.

Gomez and Bieber outed themselves as a couple in February 2011; they’d been rumored to be dating for some time before then.

Justin Bieber‘s ‘Believe’ tour hit the Chicago area last night for the first of two dates.  He performed at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, just north of Chicago, joined by Carly Rae Jepsen and Cody Simpson.

There was no on-stage puking during this show. The Chicago Tribune called it a “spectacle,” albeit a G-rated one suitable for Bieber’s youngest fans, and reminiscent of Michael Jackson in style and aesthetics.  And those gold, blinged-out Adidas Neo sneakers he’s pimping?  You couldn’t miss them.

Justin Bieber is giving his fans even more to “Belieb” in:  he’s been named as the “style icon” of the Adidas NEO sportswear line.

The pop star will promote the teen-focused label for the next two years, and will sport customized gold Adidas NEO sneakers during his current “Believe” concert tour.   Fans take note: there’s a contest involving those kicks (“Find My Gold Shoes“), with a chance to meet Bieber in Miami.

Hermann Deininger of Adidas explained why they chose to partner with Bieber:
