Karina Smirnoff stepped out for an evening of celebration at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center Gala. She was on hand to support her friend and Dancing With The Stars alum Chaz Bono, who was honored with the Board of Directors Award at the event.
Karina looked lovely in an amazing, flowing ivory gown with a peacock print.

Karina Smirnoff attended Joico’s Beauty for a Cure celebrity charity event for breast cancer in Beverly Hills at the Gavert Atelier salon on Friday, October 14th.
Smirnoff sipped Voli Light cocktails that included a “Pink Karina” drink and there was a refreshments, candy and alcohol bar for attendees to partake in.
The Dancing With The Stars pro, who is paired with top contender J. R. Martinez this season, was scheduled to get married to Detroit Tigers baseball player Brad Penny in January but that is now on hold.
According to an insider, there is no trouble between the two, just very busy schedules.
Smirnoff and Penny, both 33, are said to be considering alternate event days and trying to spend more time together while they choose a new wedding date.

There’s already one fewer celebrity sashaying across the ballroom floor on Dancing With The Stars. The first elimination was made from the show on Tuesday night, and Metta World Peace, aka Ron Artest, was the unlucky first to go.
His first (and only) dance was the cha-cha, for which he and partner Peta Murgatroyd only earned 14 points. Backstage, the L.A. Laker told People that he could have done better.
“I really didn’t know how much fun this was going to be. I didn’t know that I would actually want to make an effort to win. I was having a great time and I was looking forward to learning a few dances, but I wish I would have put in a little more effort.
Years ago when I saw Dancing with the Stars, I didn’t think I could ever do the show. And now that I’m here, I’m like, ‘I wish I would have tried a little harder.’ “
Peta was disappointed but took the elimination in stride. “It kind of sucks, [but] it was great working together,” she said.
The top scoring pairs were J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff, and Chynna Phillips and Tony Dovolani, who each earned 22 points.
The remaining contestants go on to dance either a jive or a quickstep next week.

Karina Sminoff and Angela Bassett attended the premiere of Green Lantern held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 15th.
The Dancing with The Stars pro rocked a cute bright blue dress with draping at the bust and accessorized with long, drop gold filigree earrings.
Bassett, who plays the brilliant scientist Dr. Amanda Waller in the film, wore a black, gathered Mandalay dress with metallic side panels for the event.

Dancing with The Stars pro Karina Smirnoff is showing off her hot body for Playboy.
The 33 year-old Ukraine born dancer bares all in 10 photos inside of the men’s magazine. Smirnoff is shown on the cover in a revealing sheer bodysuit and says she’s proud of her fabulous bod but it’s not all it takes to be sexy.
“As a dancer I’ve always embraced my body. I’m thrilled to show off my strong, toned physique in the pages of Playboy and celebrate my sexiness,” says Smirnoff. “To me, sexy is the confident energy a person produces. Sexy is the comfortable feeling of being who you are. Sexy is not just having beautiful lips, legs and arms; it’s beyond that. Sexy is soul.”
Smirnoff is paired with Ralph Macchio in this season of DWTS and while many thought ABC would be angry with the dancer for her provocative posing in Playboy, the execs were told of the impending shoot ahead of time and still gave Smirnoff one of the best pairings of the season, an insider told People magazine.

Karina Smirnoff will soon be alot more exposed than even those skimpy Dancing with The Stars costumes.
The 33 year-old Ukraine native has posed nude for Playboy and will be the May cover of the magazine.
Mag mogul Hugh Hefner tweeted the info on Wednesday.
“The May issue of Playboy is unforgettable with Dancing With The Stars’ Karina Smirnoff on the cover & nude inside,” Hefner said.
Smirnoff is paired this season on the ABC show with The Karate Kid star Ralph Macchio. Former Girls Next Door star and Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson is on the show this year as well. Playboy is well represented on the Disney owned network this year.
The pro dancer is engaged to baseball player Brad Penny and they are planning a “November or October” wedding later this year she told US magazine.

Karina Smirnoff had a fun night out with a bunch of hunky guys in Las Vegas on Friday night. The Dancing with the Stars pro hosted the Ultimate Girls Night Out at Chippendales in Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino of Nevada.
Smirnoff, who recently go engaged to baseball player Brad Penny, was surrounded by men all night long. Somehow, I don’t think that’s anything new for the gorgeous babe.

Karina Smirnoff is done Dancing With The Stars for this season, but she’s going to be really busy planning her wedding! Brad Penny popped the question on October 4, but they have been great at keeping it a secret!
“We kept it quiet because my family is in New York and Brad’s family is in Oklahoma so we kind of wanted them to come out and celebrate and be a family first before we let the cat out of the bag,” she said.
Karina’s ring is huge. It’s a 4.5 carat Asscher Cut diamond. Yikes! I love it!

Dancing With the Stars pro, Karina Smirnoff is joining the crowd of stars that gets naked for PETA. She wants to prove a point and make a difference when it comes to NOT wearing fur. I guess that the PETA campaign people and the stars think people won’t wear fur if the see celebrities get naked? I think people just want to see the nudity and will keep wearing fur.
But, I will give Karina props for standing up for something she believes in.
“You have a choice as an individual, you have a choice in the press, in the world, whether to make a statement that you do support killing animals or make a statement when you don’t. And you can still be as chic as you can possibly want to be.”
