Kate Gosselin keeps a strong front going no matter what she is going through.  Her ex-husband Jon Gosselin is dragging her through another round of hell, attempting to take the kids away from her with a bunch of unfounded claims.  But, Kate is continuing on, not throwing in the towel.

It seems like most of the public loves to hate on Kate Gosselin.  Everyone seems to have found perfection in themselves and decided that calling out Kate Gosselin is now their right.  Funny thing is, most of those hating Kate, don’t have any kids, much less eight of them.  So perhaps they have no idea what they are actually judging.  Also, I find it odd that Kate is being slammed for nannies caring for her kids while she’s at work.  Yet, all the other celebrity actors, Hollywood types, etc have nannies taking care of their kids full time and no one bats an eye… Hello, Brangelina?

My point is, Kate Gosselin really isn’t doing anything wrong but, she’s always being blasted for working hard and pursuing a career, and perhaps some of her dreams. Why does Kate have to defend herself for doing what everyone else in HOllywood is doing?  Sure she came across a bit (sometimes a lot) on the ‘witchy’ side on Jon & Kate Plus 8.  I can’t say that I’d be any different if I was married to Jon Gosselin and had eight kids to care for.

I am sure you all will continue to point the finger at Kate Gosselin, ignoring all of your own faults.  But, I sure wish you’d give the woman a break.  She deserves one.

TLC has announced that Kate Gosselin will be headlining her own show, ‘Twist of Kate‘ this summer.

The show will be based on Kate responding to “fan letters from women inspired by her story as the basis for profiles of women facing their own challenges.”

Jon Gosselin Asks For A Reality Check

Kate told USA Today:

“I look at it as a loose concept.  I want to be out there learning from others, helping to provide insight whenever I can, though I don’t consider myself an expert on anything.”

Kate’s going to be hands on, visiting ‘everyday’ people and touching lives with her own.

TLC’s chief Eileen O’Neill says,

“She will be in that person’s shoes. And more often than not, it’s not going to be terribly comfortable for her. She’s game for things, but she also has limits and boundaries.”

Kate currently competes on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. Though she has been getting negative reviews from judges, she is attracting viewers (the show recently beat American Idol two weeks in a row).

Kate Gosselin really appreciates all of the fan support she’s recieved.

“The fact that people really support me and want the kids and I to do well … is flattering.  I never understood the importance of fans until we struggled and went through tough times.”

He didn’t say he wants a reality check, but Jon Gosselin’s latest actions are screaming for one. Jon’s lawyer told TMZ that he’s going to try and take full custody away from Kate Gosselin and try to reverse the child support PLUS get spousal support from Kate.

Just because Kate is doing this SHORT stint on Dancing With The Stars, Jon thinks Kate is ”an absentee mom” and that she doesn’t spend any ”quality time with the 8 kids.”

Kate told TMZ, “I am and always will be a mother first, but as a single working mom I will do everything necessary to provide for my kids despite the opinions of others.”

Give me a break Jon.  Even if Kate were to last till the end on DWTS, that is a  short lived gig and she practices at home!  If Kate was in the normal, real world, trying to support 8 kids on her own, she’d have to work like 5 jobs and she’d NEVER be home.

Jon Gosselin is the last person those kids need ‘watching out’ for them.  He’s a male sleeze who only thinks with one body part and it’s not on top of his shoulders.  No judge will give him custody. (Right?)

UPDATE: Jon voted for Kate on DWTS, he’s trying to keep her on the show longer to make his case!  OMG!

Kate Gosselin emerged with a whole new look recently (pics here) and guess what?  She’s not fond of it!  Kate received $7,000 extensions that took 20 hours to ‘install’ and she doesn’t even like them!

According to Us Weekly,

“She hates it!  She thinks her hair looks over processed and damaged.  She’s afraid people will think she’s one of Tiger Woods’ bimbos!”

She has even had someone come to the house to try and teach her how to do her new hair.  Cara and Mady aren’t supporting their mom’s new look and that certainly isn’t helping.  Kate wants change, the kids don’t.  It’s really sad actually.

It’s official. Jon and Kate Gosselin are no longer married.   Judge Arthur Tilson has signed the final papers that finalized the ugly divorce.

It will be interesting to see how everything was divided and what they decided on custody with the kids since Jon all but gave that up completely, by choice.

TLC and NBC teamed up to bring us an hour long special, Kate: Her Story with Kate Gosselin and Natalie Morales.  For the first time in all of Kate’s many interviews, we got to hear her admit to her faults and she painted a very realistic picture of what has really been going on.

“I was very hard on him and I would never deny that.”

“I was wrong to treat him that way. Was it good, healthy and wonderful? No. Am I proud of those moments that were captured? No.”

“I still wake up every day, and I think the phone will ring and it’ll be the old Jon,” she explained.

Okay, that already brings the level of reality up a notch. This is heartbreaking…. I will just let you watch the videos to see for yourself  (after the jump), (Read the article)

Move over Jon Gosselin!  It doesn’t look like anyone is going to stop Kate Gosselin from doing her new show, Kate Plus 8.  The filming crew and Kate were down at The Grove in Los Angeles on Wednesday (October 28th).

Kate was getting in a little shopping and the crew was keeping her makeup just right and capturing the mother of 8 on film.  I must say that this is the hottest I have ever seen Kate!  She looks great.  I think that perhaps Kate is finally getting a new lease on life and maybe feeling a little “free at last”….  Good for her!

I hope this show does really well.  Kate and the kids need the success of the show to pay the bills and hey, I think everyone in America would like to keep tabs on this family.

Maybe Jon will stay out of the way of Kate Plus 8 in his efforts to make better everything he has messed up.  Only time will tell….

Kate Gosselin did the TLC special, You Ask, Kate Answers and she opened up a lot.  It was good to hear some of the answers she had.  I am hopeful for Kate and what the future holds for her….maybe even a movie role?

“I’ve done enough years on TV that I feel like it’s a normal, comfortable, natural place to be,” she said. “I’d love to be in a movie at some point, I’d love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun.”

Will Kate get married again?

“To be honest, I don’t know. I really don’t want to be married again, but I don’t want to be alone. The alone-ness is really alone.”

As we all know, Jon Gosselin is full of it when it comes to the kids being harmed by the show,

“They’re not suffering from this,” she said. “The fact that they have these different experiences they need to handle is only going to help them in life.”

I agree.  The kids were born with the video cameras.  They don’t know anything different.  So I am hoping that they are able to keep something going to help them out financially.  At least Kate can do a talk show, keep writing books.  Maybe do a tell-all on the real life with Jon Gosselin.  That would be a best seller!

This is one episode that will have a huge ratings night. TLC is airing an hour long special on Monday, October 26th at 9pm, branching from Jon & Kate Plus 8. Since show went down the tubes and Jon and Kate’s marriage had ended,  there are a lot of questions people have for Kate Gosselin.  They are curious, so they have asked and now they will get their answers.

Some of the questions we will get answers to on You Ask, Kate Answers will be:

Will you ever move?
Do you see yourself getting married again?
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
How do you feel about the attention your hair gets?
Do you ever read the magazine articles about the family, among others?

I personally have my DVR set.  I would love to hear what kind of plans Kate has.  I hope she dishes more that we have already heard on her many interviews.  If she does, this is going to be great and a huge step ahead of Jon!

Oh boy.  Are you ready for this?  It’s Cara and Mady Gosselin’s 9th birthday party and their parents are going to have to come face to face for the big celebration.

Jon and Kate Gosselin are far from being on good terms right about now and the last thing they need to be is in the same city much less at the same residence.  Nonetheless, Cara and Mady’s party and they have to be there for them.

ET is set up at the scene to catch all of the action ( I hope there isn’t any) for all the world to see via LIVE stream.

Jon knows that all hell could break loose,

“It could be WWIII when I get home,” Jon told ET on Wednesday as he went shopping for their birthday presents. “She’s trying to change custody but I won’t allow that. She’s basically saying itt would be too stressful to the kids to have both of us here, like we originally planned.”

Ugh, I wish he wouldn’t go.  Jon should take Cara and Mady out for their own celebration with him.  That is the life of kids with divorced parents and I think they need to start now.  What’s the point of ruining their day?  Oh wait, this is  Jon Gosselin and everything is about HIM.
