Kelly Clarkson is just one of the many stars stepping up and defending Taylor Swift after Kanye West humiliated her at the VMAs last night.

Here is what Kelly had to say to Kanye on her blog:

Dear Kanye,

What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like shit. I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty shitty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, asshole ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone. I even like my asshole ex that cheated on me over you…which is pretty odd since I don’t even personally know you. The best part of this evening is that you weren’t even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really??

I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and I was excited for her…so why can’t you be?? I’m not even mad at you for being an asshole…I just pity you because you’re a sad human being.

On a side note, Beyonce has always been a class act and proved again tonight that she still is. Go TEXAS!!

Taylor Swift, you outsell him ….that’s why he’s bitter. You know I love your work! Keep it up girl!

Some might say that one of the perks of being a celebrity would be dating another celebrity. Twice the press for the same amount of work! But don’t say that to singer Kelly Clarkson. She would rather have someone ‘normal’.

“I don’t know if I could go out with a celebrity,” Kelly said on Sirius XM’s The Morning Mashup Tuesday. “I’d rather have someone that’s, I don’t know, an accountant. I don’t know, a normal job. I love my job, but I like having my separate life. But you can’t help who you fall in love with, so I don’t know who I will end up with.”

I can see where she’s coming from on that one. Sometimes you just want to go home and be away from your industry and work time. But I guess that’s a non-issue if you just can’t find someone in the first place.

“I’m not dating anyone,” she added. “I just had this conversation with my girlfriends out on the road, my backup singers. We’re all single, and all the men are married.

“We don’t ever meet anyone ‘cause we’re constantly around married men. And you’re always working. So, I don’t even know how I’m ever going to meet anyone, unless they’re a mic tech, or a guitar tech.”

Don’t worry ladies, I’m sure there are very nice guitar techs out there with your names on them.

American Idol Kelly Clarkson’s fluctuating weight has been big news lately.   And it seems that she can’t stop talking about herself either.  She recently spoke with Reader’s Digest about her body issues.   Kelly was asked what it means to her to “show girls that you don’t have to be skinny to be successful.”   Her response:

I recently gave a self-esteem workshop for Girl Scouts in Nashville, and I told the girls that I wasn’t a role model for my weight, because I change.  Sometimes I’m thicker when I’m around my family and I’m eating more.  Sometimes I’m thinner because I’m on the road and that takes a lot out of me.  But I do feel it’s important to talk to girls about weight.  They see these images, and there’s no way the’ll ever live up to them.  I want them to see someone who is real and know they don’t have to live up to anything.

Kelly - it’s OK.  We GET IT.  You are a normal, real, regular woman.  The more you talk about it, though, the more it sounds like you’re trying to convince not us, but yourself.  Enough!!

I want to start off by saying that I have always been a huge Kelly Clarkson fan and I always will be.  I am also all about keeping it real and just being yourself.  But, these pictures of Kelly are disturbing.  I am used to Kelly looking a bit more polished.  I know that she is not worried about her weight and frankly, neither am I.  But, I am not hip to this ‘look’ she’s got going.  Very unkept and well, just plain sloppy.  What’s up with that.  Her latest album, All I ever Wanted is amazing and I just wish she would dress the part, at least when she is performing…..

What do you think?  Was this just an off night at the KIIS FM’s Wango Tango concert or is this the new look Kelly Clarkson will be wearing everywhere?  AM I overreacting?

So while Jay-Z doesn’t have a Twitter page, thus lacking random meanderings, he does occasionally blog for RapRadar.com - which this weekend afforded him the opportunity to blog about a recent concert billing alongside Kelly Clarkson and Third Eye Blind at the University of Arizona.

Unusual? Maybe - but as Jay himself says, “There’s NO such thing as black and white music, only good and bad music.”

“On the show as well were Third Eye Blind and Kelly Clarkson … I thought that had to be the oddest pairing ever, but soon realized it’s what I’ve always professed. There’s NO such thing as Black music or White music only Good or Bad music.”

Jay said it was cool to like different things that are outside of your comfort zone. He said this also applies to the world around us and not just music.

“If you’re African American you can have a Jewish friend.” He brought up his own friendship with former Def Jam head/ current Warner Music CEO Lyor Cohen. “The Jew fro and the BLUEprint fro [Afro] are the SAME thing.”

Jay added that he would like to see diverse concerts such as this happen more often, outside of the one or two festivals per year and big radio station summer concerts like Zootopia, held by New York’s Z-100, among many others.

“I’m putting that into the universe,” Jay blogged, adding, “Next up, [a concert with] Taylor Swift and Uncle Murda!”

I knew that Blender magazine was too good to be true. Just as soon as I subscribe to the magazine and get my first issue, this Kelly Clarkson one, they go under. They are closing their doors and laying off 30 people. The staff was told this morning. Alpha Media Group still has one magazine left under their name, Maxim. That’s where the people left from Blender will go. The last issue of Blender will be the current issue, April 2009.

CEO Stephen Duggan commented, “Since 2001, Blender has provided unmatched music coverage and entertainment news in its unique voice to a profoundly dedicated audience of music enthusiasts. We are particularly grateful to the sales team and to the tremendously talented editorial staff for their hard work and commitment to Blender.”

That really is too bad. I was enjoying the thought of catching up on my music gossip since I am loving the headline they have on the cover about Lady Gaga, “I have unprotected sex with my songs.” Who can make that stuff up? I’ll miss you Blender.

Kelly Clarkson must be enjoying her return to mainstream (while still-angry) pop while seeing the steady hold her newest album All I Ever Wanted has at #1 on the Billboard charts this coming week.  While it’s numbers are still below 100,000 units (hey, it’s still a recession!), the album is outperforming her last album by leaps and bounds already!

The original American Idol is still topping the charts, years after her reality show victory.

“All I Ever Wanted,” Kelly Clarkson’s fourth album, debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album sales chart after selling 255,000 copies during its initial week of release, according to Nielsen Soundscan data for the week ending March 15.

This is her second album to debut at the top spot. The first was her first album ‘Thankful‘ released in April 2003.

And despite what some people think, I think Kelly looks great and is not at all overweight. She’s thick- that’s just her build. She’s always been that way. She’s not a size 2- who cares? She’s got a thin waist, but bigger arms, booty and legs. That’s the way a real woman is built. Though some of her outfit choices lately haven’t been my favorite or the most flattering, people need to lay off the weight thing with her. She’s a good role model for kids to get away from the anorexic, fake stereotypes of Lindsay Lohan and her posse.

Congrats to Kelly on all her successes! We love you, girl!

American Idol Kelly Clarkson has always been overweight and she has become a superstar! Kelly doesn’t believe her weight had any bad influence when she started on the famous talent show. She believes people will always love her, no matter what size and shape.

She said: “I feel very fortunate coming from ‘American Idol’. I was the biggest girl in the group. I’ve always been thicker and millions of people voted for me. People are born all different shapes and sizes. People like me this way.”

Yes, we love Kelly because she is talented and very down to earth normal girl. But it’s not ok for her to say it doesn’t matter if you are overweight or not. The country has a lot of overweight children, who suffer every day for their parents’ reckless unhealthy lifestyle, and they should be told it’s not healthy or good to be overweight!

Kelly Clarkson who just had her album released yesterday is on the April 2009 issue of Blender magazine. I like this new look of hers. I always thought Blender was a music magazine but I think they might have taken a turn to somewhere else in this interview. Here’s the totally gross highlights:

On peeing in the shower: “Anybody who says they don’t is lying.”

On taking pleasure in walking around naked: “I’m the kinda person who just doesn’t like clothes.”

On blowing her nose and then checking the tissue to see what color the snot is: “I mean, if you have a cold, you have to check, to see how sick you are.”

On the essence of her appeal: “The thing with me, and my audience in particular is, people look at me like a sister or a daughter. It’s not like people look at me as unattainable, some kind of star like that. People love the ‘real’ factor that’s involved, I think.”

On being an open book and willing to “talk about anything”: “I do not lie. Ever. I will tell my girlfriend if she looks fat in her jeans… When you don’t make yourself clear or heard, that’s where trouble starts. And that’s something I learned as a child. No one is going to know what you feel unless you tell them.”

This interview will for sure score her some dates. I am sure of it.

Not that anyone really asked or anything, but Kelly Clarkson decided to speak on the gay community’s burning desire for her to be a secret lesbian.

“People are like, �Are you secretly a lesbian? Because I�d really love it.� Lesbians tell it to me all the time. I�m like, �I�m glad it works for you and I wish I liked women like that because oftentimes men are very hard for me, but I happen to like boys.� I could never be a lesbian. I would never want to date [someone like] myself, ever. I�m a crazy person. I need some kind of stable, quiet man. I don�t really care if you�re black, white, yellow, gay, straight, crazy, whatever. As long as you�re cool and you like the music, and you�re coming out to have a good time at the shows, I don�t really care. I have everything I just said in my family, so I�m just used to being surrounded by that. I just don�t know any different.”

In case you were wondering- because I definitely was not- American Idol season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson is NOT a lesbian. Whew. What a relief!

“I get that all the time. People are like, ‘Are you secretly a lesbian? Because I’d really love it,’” Clarkson tells PopEater.com. “Lesbians tell it to me all the time. I’m like, ‘I’m glad it works for you and I wish I liked women like that because oftentimes men are very hard for me, but I happen to like boys.”

The original American Idol adds that she “could never be a lesbian.”…”I would never want to date [someone like] myself, ever. I’m a crazy person,” she says. “I need some kind of stable, quiet man.”

She hasn’t found him yet, though. Clarkson, who has dated singer Graham Colton and penned the rage-tastic “Never Again” for ex David Hodges, insists she’s never been in love at age 26 and does not find that odd at all. “I’m like, ‘Well, maybe y’all just fall in love too quickly. Have you ever thought about that?’” she says. “I’d rather have quality than quantity.”

I much prefer quality over quantity, but that’s not to say you can’t fall in love fast. My husband and I fell in love in a matter of weeks and will be together forever, but I am happy to know that Kelly likes boys Hopefully one day soon she will find that love of her life… but for now, I love all the angry girl songs!

Former American Idol winner and currently obsessed with the Twilight series, Kelly Clarkson has set a record on the Billboard charts. Her ‘My Life Would Suck Without You‘ single is set to jump from No. 97 to the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 100�chart — a move that will be the biggest jump to No. 1 in the 50-year-old history of the singles chart.

In addition, “My Life Would Suck Without You” will also be jumping from No. 58 to No. 38 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Airplay chart and from No. 27 to No. 18 on its Mainstream Top 40 list.

“My Life Would Suck Without You” actually represents the second time Clarkson has set the record for largest jump to No. 1.� Back in October 2002, her Idol victory song “A Moment Like This” moved from No. 51 to No. 1 on the single sales chart.

Congratulations to Kelly. She’s always been my favorite American Idol winner. They say the original is always the best, right?

Kelly Clarkson released new promo photos of herself for her new album, All I Ever Wanted, that comes out on March 17. I love them. It looks like she took on a whole new look for this one. And they aren’t that heavily photoshopped either! It’s just enough to make her sparkle.

Kelly recently said that she is obsessed with the Twilight books…

“I’m on Breaking Dawn. It’s actually interrupting my sleeping pattern… I’m crazy. Every girl is, like, obsessed. I went to Cancun, Mexico for New Years with a bunch of friends and we were laughing because, as we were laying out (sunbathing), literally every female at the pool had one of the books from the Twilight series.”

I thought I was the only one that lost sleep over these books. I am only on the third book, Eclipse, right now and I can’t think of anything else. During the day, you think of it, at night, you think of it. I wonder if there is subliminal messages in that book?
