It’s another TV show for Kim Kardashian to appear on…

The newly single Kardashian has booked a guest appearance on Tim Allen‘s hit comedy Last Man Standing.

The reality star will reportedly play herself and surprise the middle daughter of Mike Baxter (Allen).

Mandy (played by Molly Ephraim) is a reality TV junkie who idolizes the 30 year-old reality personality.

Kardashian’s expanding her acting repertoire. She has popped up on an episode of How I Met Your Mother and will have a part in the upcoming Tyler Perry movie The Marriage Counselor.

Kim’s episode will be in February.

Last Man Standing has been a hit for ABC and is Allen’s return to television 12 years after the super successful 8 year run of Home Improvement.

LMS is on Tuesdays at 8pm ET.

Kim Kardashian has decided to cut her Australian promotional tour short and flee Down Under because she’s having a hard time dealing with the stress and questions surrounding her decision to file for divorce just 72 days after marrying Kris Humphries.

The 31 year-old reality star was lined up for an appearance at an Australian horse racing event and a visit to Melbourne Cup Carnival for Swisse vitamins marquee on Saturday for which she was reportedly expected to make more than $150,000.

Kim, who did make an appearance in Sydney at the Westfield Miranda shopping center with her sister and brother-in-law Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian-Odom, said although she wasn’t able to make Saturday’s appearance, she wants to come back.

“I’m very disappointed that I am unable to attend the Swisse marquee but I hope to come back and work with the Swisse team at another point in time,” Us Weekly reports.

In the one interview she did give with Sydney’s Sunrise show, Kim said the rumors of money grubbing is what’s bothering her the most.

“I think what really just, I think, upsets me most is that there has been from the start so many rumors of money and dollar signs all these things thrown up in the air… and so much of it not being true,” Kardashian said.

“It’s kind of what you get from living your life so publicly on a reality show. I get that,” she claimed.

Skeptics aren’t buying the fact that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries televised wedding and subsequent 72 day marriage wasn’t a publicity ploy and that angers Kim.

Kardashian, who filed for divorce from Humphries on Monday, tries to set the record straight for all the Doubting Thomas’ that her wedding was not a sham just for television.

“First and foremost, I married for love,” she wrote on her blog. “I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!”

Kim further states that she did not make money off her nuptials and that all the gifts will be given to charity.

“There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.”

So I guess she didn’t sell the rights to the photos of her wedding for millions or the licensing deal with E! to televise it for millions? She gave it away for free?

Kardashian chalks up the whole experience to “getting caught up with the hoopla” and says she is a “hopeless romantic.”

This is Kim’s second marriage. Her first, when she was just 19, was to record producer Damon Thomas and lasted 4 years.

Everyone act surprised… the reality TV fairytale marriage of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries is over.

Kardashian filed for divorce on Monday just 72 days after she married Humphries in an elaborate, multi-million dollar wedding for her family’s E! reality show.   Her petition cites “irreconcilable differences” and indicates that she does not want to pay spousal support to Humphries.

“Irreconcilable differences”?  Please.   As far as I’m concerned, there are three possible scenarios here.  One, E! wasn’t happy with the ratings that Humphries was pulling, so they’ve ordered Kardashian to find a new husband.  Two, it’s just a stunt to increase ratings and she’ll withdraw her petition in a few weeks.  Three, they just rushed into marriage without thinking.  And maybe it’s a combination of all of the above.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have been married for all of a month and a half, but it’s never too late to ensure that a totally staged for the media wedding is going to stick.  The reality-show couple made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, where Ellen herself officiated as they renewed their vows.  Ellen opened the ceremony with these words:

“We are gathered here today because we are the only 300 people who weren’t invited to Kim and Kris’ wedding.  And now, in this mecca of daytime television, we reaffirm the bond of marriage between Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian — all rights reserved, E! Television Productions.”

She instructed Kris to buy Kim a copy of her new book, Seriously, I’m Kidding – he said he’d buy 500 copies – whereas Kim promised to “always put [Kris] first, or at least above Kourtney but below Khloe.”

Ellen joked that the newlyweds, who were wed on August 20, have already been married for “a long time for reality TV stars.”

The video is quite cute and Ellen makes a great officiant.  A second career should she ever give up the entertainment biz?!

Kylie Jenner had her family in New York to support her runway turn in Avril Lavigne‘s clothing line Abbey Dawn.

The 14 year-old and her sister Kendall Jenner, posed with their half-sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian before Kylie’s strut down the catwalk.

Kylie modeled three outfits and closed out the show wearing a very Avril-like black ballerina skirt with lots of tulle.

Avril is dating Kylie’s older brother, Brody Jenner, who was also in the crowd to cheer on his sibling. Lavigne said she was very happy to have Kylie in her show.

“She did a really good job,” Avril gushed to HollywoodLife. “I think she’s adorable. She’s the youngest of all the sisters and I love her edge, so she’s perfect to walk in the Abbey Dawn [show].”

“She’s beautiful so I was really happy to have her,” Avril continued.

It seems that not a week goes by without one of the Sisters Kardashian - Kim, Khloe and Kourtney – promoting some product or another.   Now that Kim’s wedding is behind them, they’ve turned their attention to their new line of clothing and accessories with retailer Sears:  The Kardashian Kollection.

The line launched on Tuesday, and in honor of the new venture, Kourtney Kardashian posted her favorite images from the ad campaign on her blog.  The campaign was shot by Annie Leibovitz, but if you didn’t know that, you’d think perhaps it was done by the same photographer as their family Christmas portrait. It has the same Kardashian family signature look about it:  totally affected, quasi-sophistication.   But it’s the obvious digital effects and engineering that really bug me here.  For example, since when are Kourtney and Kim anywhere near the same height as Khloe?   Why is Kim’s face so obviously Photoshopped?  And why did they dress Kourtney in all the worst outfits for these pictures?

My snarkiness aside, it’s likely that this collection will do quite well for Sears.  It’s affordable and pretty innocuous; some of the jewelry is actually very cute.    They’re trying to draw in a younger, “hipper” customer and this might just be the ticket.

Newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries hit New York City last week to continue the celebration of their nuptials.   A “Welcome To New York” party was thrown for them by Jason Binn and Colin Cowie on August 31, and they’ve been out and about all over Manhattan ever since.   The pair have been shopping, going to shows, moving into a $7,000/night penthouse – you know, acting like New Yorkers.

Here’s a few photos of Kris and Kim from their New York party.  I like these so much better than any of the images from their wedding.  They look much more relaxed and natural; even though there were plenty of cameras, they look far less like they’re putting on a show.  And Kim’s dress is divine!

A lawyer in Tennessee has sent a formal letter to Vivid Entertainment to try to purchase the rights to the Kim Kardashian and Ray J sex tape.

Steve Hirsch, head of Vivid told TMZ the request was from a “mystery” buyer (let’s be honest, it’s Kim or her momager Kris Jenner).

“I was approached by a private party who has asked us about looking into the possibility of acquiring all rights of the Vivid, ‘Kim Kardashian Sex Tape.’”

The lawyer adds, “The party we represent does not intend to distribute or broadcast the ‘tape,’ but hopes to completely remove it from the market.”

Hirsch says he’s willing to negotiate a possible buy back but the price isn’t cheap.

“Based on its long term value, it looks like $30 million would be a starting point for a discussion on all of the rights.”

Not only is he open to the idea of selling the tape, Hirsch said he’d deal with the reality TV star directly if she wanted.

He also said, “I have no idea who is behind this offer … but If it’s Kim, I have a tremendous amount of respect for her. She has my number and can call me any time.”

Kim Kardashian and People magazine made a deal for a reported $1.5 million for exclusive licensing rights to the photos of her wedding extravaganza.

For the cover, the mag chose to “lose” her husband, Kris Humphries and go with a solo shot of Kim K, drawing criticism.

Assistant editor Jen Garcia defended the choice saying it’s really about the bride, the dress and well, Humphries is just too tall, darn it.

“It’s all about the bride. We wanted her. It’s her day, we wanted her on the cover,” said Garcia.

“He’s got a little height on her,” added Garcia of the New Jersey Nets forward. “It’s kind of tough to get them in the [same] shot.”

The magazine has 11 pages of Kardashian/Humphries info, including Kim’s three wedding gowns by Vera Wang and to entice readers to pick up a copy, they are offering a $1.00 off coupon.

Hey, with interest waning in Kim – they’ve got to recoup their finances somehow.
