Now, she says she went to Cirque Lodge for depression, not addiction, but I am not sure I believe her.  They don’t appear to offer a depression treatment program there, unless she has so much money from playing Mary Jane Watson that she got them to customize her a treatment package.  I mean, not that it’s any of my business, but I’m just saying.

Kirsten Dunst is returning for Spider-Man 4. 

When MTV asked Kirsten Dunst if she would be returning for Spider-Man 4, the actress responded “I’m in.” Which sounds like a done deal if you ask me. But when pressed if she officially signed on to return, the actress changed her tone, “I’m not saying anything, I know there’s rumors…”

More of that constant screaming is now guaranteed for the next Spidey film.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson’s relationship gets complete support from fellow actress Kirsten Dunst. I’m sure Linds and Sam care a whole lot about what Kirsten has to say about them… it’s so good to see celebrities supporting other celebrities, especially when they aren’t even trying to promote anything besides themselves.

Kirsten says: “I’m sure there are a lot of girls out there who are so much more comfortable because they love Mean Girls and Lindsay’s dating a girl. I think that couldn’t be better. I know them enough to know that, deep down, they’re both sweet girls.”

Kirsten, go back to rehab! Of course Kirsten must have been completely wasted when this interview happened… she is just jealous Lindsay actually got the Mean Girls role instead of her.

Kirsten Dunst is the cover girl for the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar. I’m not sure whether I want to fire or praise this person who photoshopped this cover. There is something with her face that is not right. Or may be the bright red lipstick doesn’t go with her pale skin. Whatever the case may be this cover is a wreck.

Here are some highlights from the interview in the magazine…by the way…she isn’t dating Justin Long.

On rehab: When you spend your entire life as a child actress, being told where to go and where to stand, you’re performing constantly for people. It definitely breeds the kind of person who’s dependent on other people’s approval. If I’d trusted myself and listened to myself all the times that I ignored myself, I would have been fine. But everyone has to learn their lesson, and now I’ve got it… I don’t want to go into too much detail because I give a quote and the it’s blogged about for the rest of my life on the Internet.

On Justin Long: [The rumors] are the funniest thing on planet Earth. I don’t know him from Adam. I met him once and he and his friend were kind enough to walk me home. I’ve never seen him since.

(Yet they are constantly photographed having a fun time and laughing.)

On having kids: I can’t wait to have kids one day. I want to have kids and a farm with lots of animals on a lake.

It was announced in May that Vanessa Paradis would be the new face of Miu Miu. I’m not really sure how this change is a good one. I don’t like this ad at all! It seems like it’s an awesome trend lately to go to rehab. And Wednesday, Kirsten Dunst, came clean on her stint:

“I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse,” she [says]. “I went there for depression.”

With that story sounding a little fishy, Defamer, actually called Cirque Lodge about going there for depression. Cirque Lodge answered them like this:

“We address chemical dependency issues. We’re not at all a purely psychiatric facility like Bridges To Recovery, and each patient must undergo a detox for their chemical dependency, whether they’re coming off benzos, you know, cocktails in a pill, or harder substances. We do treat underlying issues, but if someone is suffering solely from chronic depression, we’re not the place to go.”

So that means that Kirsten is lying. Or maybe she’s there for a film role? Like I said before…you can tell us the truth. We will understand!

Kirsten Dunst has come clean on why she went to rehab in February, and it wasn’t for substance abuse like we first thought. It was for depression.

“I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse,” she [says]. “I went there for depression.”

“I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself,” she says. “I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too, but I didn’t know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge.”

“There’s been a lot of misrepresentation about what is going on in my life, and it’s been very painful for my friends and family,” she explains. “Everyone feels like they have to defend me. They hear the rumors, and it puts them in a defensive position. Now that I’m feeling stronger, I was prepared to say something.”

She also clears up the rumor of her dating Ryan Gosling too…

“I am not dating Ryan Gosling,” she says.

I am really glad that Kirsten came forward with the depression, that does take courage. I really didn’t like to think of her as someone that had an addiction with a substance.

Apparently Miu Miu doesn’t want to have an addict, albeit a recovered one, for a brand ambassador.  Women’s Wear Daily reports that the clothing line has replaced Kirsten Dunst with Johnny Depp’s fiance Vanessa Paradis.

This is too bad.  I thought that Kirsten’s Miu Miu ads earlier this year were some of the most creative I’ve seen.  She looked stunning!  Vanessa is pretty but she’s not nearly as good looking as Kirsten.  The folks at Prada really don’t like drunk, though - my favorite addict, Lindsay Lohan, used to be their girl too, once upon a time….

Kirsten Dunst doesn’t know why all of America just doesn’t smoke pot:

“I have a different outlook on marijuana than America does. I’ve never been a major smoker, but I think America’s view on weed is ridiculous. I mean, are you kidding me? If everyone smoked weed, the world would be a better place.”

Okay, I can’t imagine it would be better. People would be high driving, high taking care of their kids, just HIGH! I think there is a time and place for those things.

Are Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst dating? Page Six likes to think so! They said that a diner saw them together “canoodling” (I HATE THAT WORD!) on Saturday:

Hot after being fired from Peter Jackson’s film version of ‘The Lovely Bones’, actor Ryan Gosling is still in demand. Next up for him is ‘All Good Things’ a mystery/romance co-starring Kirsten Dunst.

According to Variety, “Things” also doubles as a murder mystery and will find Gosling playing the heir to a 1980s real estate dynasty who falls for a not-so-well-bred girl portrayed by Dunst. Things turn ugly when she disappears and a detective discovers political motives in the case. The more the investigator discovers, the more people close to the case end up getting killed.

I always enjoy anything Gosling signs on for. Dunst has made some great choices too. Sounds like an interesting premise.
