Last Comic Standing awarded this year’s title to a woman for the first time in it’s 6 season history. 25 year old Iliza Shlesinger from Dallas, TX won top honors based on home viewers’ votes after last week’s episode. Her grand prize winnings include $250,000, an exclusive talent deal with NBC, a brand new Honda Pilot, and a guest appearance in Jubilee! at Bally’s Las Vegas. Shlesinger was single-handedly responsible for outing 4 comics on the show in two previously recorded comic showdowns. She beat out four male finalists Louis Ramey, Jim Tavare, Jeff Dye, and Marcus to win the title.
