What do Kim Kardashian and Lauren Conrad have in common?  A spot on America’s Next Top Model of course!  These lovely ladies are going to be guest judges on this season (13).

Lauren is slated for October 16th’s episode and then Kim will make her judgements on October 21st.  This should be an interesting season.  I wonder how these ladies will treat the contestants.  I can see Kim being sweet and Lauren being bitchy.  What do you think?

The Hills? Who needs that stupid fake show. Spencer and Heidi Pratt surely do, but not Lauren Conrad. This girl is a writer now and is out promoting her first fiction novel “L.A. Candy.” (Click here to read an excerpt)

L.C. showed up to the New York City location of Barnes & Noble for a book signing looking even hotter than usual. She was working some short- but classy- black dress shorts, a loose blouse and hot black pumps. And her hair down and all wavy like that is so gorgeous. This girl has got it going on… All I know is that I want to work out with her trainer!

Oh no… Say it ain’t so! The Hills is fake? My heart is broken!! First we saw Spencer Pratt awkwardly apologize to Lauren Conrad on the season finale of The Hills. Then Spencer told everyone that he lied in the apology when he said he spread the sex tape rumors, and that he only apologized to get LC to the wedding. Now Lauren Conrad is revealing that the apology was only filmed on his side and it never actually happened. How can we keep up with all this nonsense?

“To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other end of that call,” Conrad told The View co-host Elizabeth Hasslebeck during a Thursday morning appearance on the ABC morning show.

“What do you mean?” Hasslebeck asked.

“That was filmed and I wasn’t on the other end,” Conrad reiterated. “I didn’t even know about it until [afterwards],” Conrad added afterwards.  “So no, I didn’t get an apology, he’s lying.”

So now Spencer lied during the phone call, lied about the phone call, and is in general a big fat liar. Well, that’s not really shocking news. However, this does reveal that Lauren Conrad is quite the actress, because she had to act out the scene where she appears to be taking that phone call. Maybe she does have a future in Hollywood afterall.

She was on The View to promote her new book L.A. Candy, but no one really talked about it much. Those View girls sure love Speidi.

The Hills star Lauren Conrad was seen with a brand new hairstyle and a much darker hair color while doing a photo shoot in West Hollywood on Friday (June 12). I love Lauren’s new brunette look because it makes her looks classier, smart and maybe a bit older too.

Lauren had been posing for a photo shoot so it’s most probably just a wig. She should seriously consider getting a darker hair color. Hot or not? In other news Lauren has confirmed she is not engaged to her boyfriend Kyle Howard.

Despite having to hand her show over to former arch-nemesis/total loser Kristen Cavallari and having her “friends” insult her in the press, Lauren Conrad isn’t shedding any tears. Instead, she’s spending some of that major bank she has made during her time as star of The Hills with some shopping on Melrose in Beverly Hills.

I love this girl’s style… She’s sort of boho chic, and even when she’s casual, she always looks so put together. I would love to raid her closet (if I could lose a few pounds first).

After Sunday night’s completely scripted and super-lame season finale of The Hills, Lauren Conrad blogged about her experience in reality tv and her high hopes for the show. Here are some of the highlights:

“Last night was my last episode of The Hills. It was a bittersweet night for me. A part of me is sad to say goodbye to something that has been such a prominent part of my life, but I know that it was time and I am very happy with my decision.”

“I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has watched and supported me over the years. While putting my personal relationships and struggles on television wasn’t always easy, the support I received from people made such a difference.”

“Because of all of you and your support, I was able to accomplish so many aspirations and for that I am very grateful. So, THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! I have some interesting projects in the works and I will keep you all updated.”

“From what I’ve heard the next season will not disappoint. ”

Some of those projects include a clothing line for Kohl’s and a new book series… I am SO excited about both of those!

But if this season finale was any indication of next season, I will be VERY disappointed. While I am sure there will be more drama than ever will attention whore Kristen Cavallari in the realm, I don’t think I can handle all the fake nonsense and immaturity that comes with her.

I just think they should let the legend die with its star instead of dragging it on into trash(ier) television.

Lauren Conrad, from the little show The Hills, is the cover girl for the July 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.  She is opening up with the magazine about her boyfriend, Kyle Howard. I can’t believe that she is leaving The Hills. How else will I get my Lauren fix? Here are the highlights from the interview…

On her boyfriend being supportive of her: “I have to be with someone I really trust who doesn’t want to hurt my feelings and who really wants me to be happy.”

I’m glad that she found someone that can be supportive of her and her work.

In a totally shocking development, it seems that Lauren Conrad is revealing that part of The Hills fifth season was staged! Gasp! No!!! Apparently, all those weird, awkward run-ins with Heidi Montag were forced upon her by show producers.

“What they didn’t get is that I didn’t want to fight with her anymore,” Conrad says in the July issue of Cosmopolitan. “It’s hard to look at somebody who used to be your best friend and say, ‘We can’t be friends. Too much has happened.’ I’m trying to move on, but they won’t let me. And when someone keeps pushing you into the same position well … you get upset.”

Perhaps that’s one thing that made her decision to leave easier… And now that Lauren is all grown up and over the partying lifestyle (unlike Stephanie Pratt and Kristen Cavallari), she most enjoys time with her My Boys actor boyfriend, Kyle Howard.

“I feel sexiest with him when I’m in sweatpants and no make-up,” she says.

Amen, sister. That’s how I feel around my man, too.

Spencer Pratt admitted that he lied about something. Are we really surprised anymore? He says that he lied about saying that he started the whole sex tape rumor thing so that Lauren Conrad would go to the wedding. Now, why would he lie?

“Let me give you the exclusive right here… See, my lovely wife wanted that girl, LC, to be at our wedding, and I knew I had to do whatever as [an] almost-husband to get her dream wedding put together. So I lied and said that I made something up to make somebody feel good about themselves so that they would attend the wedding.”

“That’s what a husband should do for a wife… Do anything at all costs to make them have their dream wedding,” he added. “….Yes, you did have that tape and yes, [your ex-boyfriend] was trying to sell it. Thank you for coming to the wedding. Love ya. Mwah!”

That Spencer is so romantic it makes me want to be sick. And I can’t get over that he has to bring it back up. Why not just let sleeping dogs lie? Or in his case be a liar?

Two days ago we reported that The Hills star Audrina Patridge and Star Trek mega-hottie Chris Pine were an undercover couple… Now it seems that Lauren Conrad has confirmed the good news… kind of.

“He is a really cute guy, and I’m happy for her,” Conrad said at a Havaiana’s and Details event honoring her boyfriend — My Boys actor Kyle Howard, 31 — in Hollywood Wednesday.

Hopefully they are a real couple and it lasts… He’s a much different kind of dude than Justin Bobby- as in he’s not a tool. Plus he’s beautiful to look at. Way to go, Audrina!
