Leighton Meester rocked the red carpet for a special screening of her new movie The Roommate at the Soho House in West Hollywood, California.

The actress opted for a minimalist  but stunning Michael Kors maxi dress with leather bodice and cutouts at the side waist. She kept her hair straight, make-up minimal and zero accessories for her amazingly chic look.

Leighton Meester stars in the latest Missoni photos for Spring/Summer 2011.

The Italian knitwear brand is launching this ad campaign, photographed by Juergen Teller that is inspired by The Beatles classic album cover for Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The Gossip Girl star is racking up the endorsements. Meester is the Hair Ambassador for Herbal Essences and stars in Vera Wang’s perfume ads.

Leighton will be at the 2011 Golden Globes Awards this weekend – will she wear Missoni?

Leighton Meester nabs Seventeen magazine’s cover for February 2011 and the actress is sure about what she wants for her future. The Country Strong actress tells the mag it’s all about love and family:

“”I think that the importance of love is really strong for me in my life, whether it’s a guy or a friend or just my puppy. I think love changes you over time. Whether you have good or bad experiences, you always grow and learn from it. I want a family someday and I know that I have to let love in to create that and I think there is someone out there for me, but I’m not on some crazy hunt for that right now.”

Meester, who plays spoiled rich girl Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, also tells Seventeen she doesn’t really like to party and is taking her time making her debut album.

Her February issue is on sale January 4th.

Stylish and super elegant, Gwyneth Paltrow dazzled on the red carpet for a screening in Los Angeles of Country Strong.

Paltrow got her sleek groove on in an all white Pucci dress with open back – awesome dress on her! Her costar, Leighton Meester took it short and flirty in a pink ruffly Christian Dior with orange platforms. She had a very cute, summery vibe although it is winter, even in L.A.

Costars Garrett Hedlund, Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill gave great fashion efforts for the night as well.

Leighton Meester was in Madrid earlier this week and looked incredibly adorable.  She attended a photocall for Herbal Essences at the Hesperia Hotel.  (Leighton was named the worldwide face of the brand earlier this year.)  She’s gorgeous!  If that’s what Herbal Essences can do for a girl, then send me a few dozen cases, please.

Juliet, Jenny and Vanessa were quite the team as they went to knock Serena’s crown off her perfectly coiffed hair in “The Witches Of Bushwick.” Gossip Girl is off until November 29th when episode 4.10 “Gaslit” returns to make quite a splash.

Chuck (Ed Westwick), Serena (Blake Lively), Blair (Leighton Meester), Dan (Penn Badgley), Jenny (Taylor Momsen) and Eric (Connor Paolo) find themselves faced with a crisis when a member of one of their families is hospitalized.  Meanwhile, Nate (Chace Crawford) attempts to help his parents, The Captain (guest star Sam Robards) and Anne (guest star Francie Swift), put their complicated past behind them and reconcile.  Katie Cassidy guest stars as Juliet.  Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star.  Tate Donovan directed the episode.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is the new face of Vera Wang‘s new fragrance, due out next summer.  Leighton is in New York for the weekend shooting the ad campaign, which is being photographed by Carter Smith.

Vera loves her new spokesperson!  She said she hopes that Leighton’s

“beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance.”

The contract is for two years and is reported to be worth a cool $3 million.  Congrats Leighton!

The celebrity endorsement game grabbed a new player when Leighton Meester signed on as a paid spokesperson for Herbal Essences products. The Gossip Girl actress said:

“My Mom used it, the kind with the clear bottle with the flowers. Now it has a new look and everything is different. I started using it because Charles [her personal hairstylist and Herbal Essences celebrity stylist] uses it.”

She will begin appearing in print ads, on the retailer’s Facebook page and probably a commercial or two.

Yesterday Leighton Meester was in Chicago performing at The Underground.  In efforts to gain some attention for her less than average music career, Leighton wore the ugliest outfit she could get her hands on.  Not only did she look ridiculous, she looked like a total moron wearing that getup in 18 degree weather!  Who dresses like that in Chicago in January?

Gossip Girl Leighton Meester got the honor of being GQ’s Obsession of the Year for 2009.  And to show her thanks, Leighton oozes sex for the steamy photo shoot.  From going spread eagle to getting on all fours, Leighton Meester knows how to ‘turn it on’ for the readers.

Girls love Gossip Girl, guys don’t like to admit it, but they can’t get enough of Leighton either,

“Guys are like, ‘My girlfriend watches it, so I watch it,’ ” Meester says. “But sometimes they watch it on their own. Someone came up to me recently and said, ‘I’m a Washington, D.C., police officer, and I tell everybody I’m busy on Monday nights—but I’m really watching the show.’”

That is hilarious!  Ha!  See guys, even tough cop types love Gossip Girl…. maybe they just love Leighton Meester?  Maybe her sex tape drew a whole new crowd?  It worked to her advantage either way!
