Lily Allen and her husband Sam Cooper have a baby girl to keep them smiling.

The 26 year-old British singer is a proud first-time mom after giving birth on Friday, according to reports.

Her reps haven’t commented officially but Allen is receiving lots of well-wishes from friends and celebs who have tweeted their congratulations for The Fear singer.

“Massive congrats to lily and Sam! Such good news. Xxxx” said Amanda Holden.

Allen and Cooper were married in an idyllic English country church setting in Gloucestershire this summer.

It is particularly happy news for the couple. Allen and Cooper lost a baby boy in 2010 when the singer miscarried. She also suffered a miscarriage in January 2008 when she was dating Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers.

Doctor Who‘s Karen Gillan celebrated London’s Fashion’s Night Out at Lucy In Disguise in the fashionable Soho district.

Lucy In Disguise is the brain child of singer Lily Allen and her sister Sarah Owen.  They sell fabulous vintage clothes as well as their own designs, which are really quite cute too.    A perfect location to spend FNO!

Lily Allen - excuse me, Lily Cooper – is Elle UK‘s August 2011 cover girl.   She gives a frank and fairly intimate interview to go with her retro sexy cover shoot.   With her curly hair, she’s totally channeling Sophia Loren or Elizabeth Taylor.  I love it!   Lily dishes about her relationship with her now-husband Sam Cooper, her new projects, and the real diet secrets of the stars.  Some highlights:

On how models and celebrities REALLY stay thin: “I hang out with models, the biggest pop stars and, you know, really and honestly, I hate saying this, but none of them are achieving those body shapes by being healthy. They’re not just going to the gym two hours a day. They’re not eating or they’re taking speed not to eat.   In America everyone abuses that Adderall stuff and people aren’t normal.”

On how Sam helped her put aside her partying ways and clean up her act: “Come three o’clock it was like, ‘Oh I suppose it’s acceptable to have a glass of wine.’ And then by four o’clock I would have had four glasses. It’s not the way to be.

“I met Sam and he noticed that behaviour. I think it came to a point for him where he was thinking, ‘Can I be with this girl if this is what her life is like? I want to make this work, but I can’t live in this world.  I just needed someone to tell me. I suppose I was doing all that because I wanted acceptance and if he was telling me that he’d already accepted me for who I was and I didn’t need to do all this bullshit, then it made me feel safe and secure.”

Lily Allen married her sweetheart Sam Cooper on Saturday, but they had more than just their marriage to celebrate.   The couple are expecting a baby!  Sam announced to their wedding reception guests that Lily is at least 12 weeks pregnant.  And you can totally see her little baby bump under her wedding gown.  So cute!

Sources say that Lily is loving life right now:

‘Lily is pregnant and she is marrying the man of her dreams. She is truly over the moon and so ecstatically happy she has shed tears of joy.  We have all been hoping and praying for good news and this is the best news ever.’

It’s very good news, following Lily’s two miscarriages.  Her last pregnancy, with Sam Cooper, ended in the stillbirth of their son.  Three years prior, she miscarried her baby with ex-boyfriend Ed Simons.   Let’s all send healthy (and sticky) baby vibes to Lily and Sam.

Lovely in lace, singer Lily Allen and Sam Cooper were married this afternoon in London at St. James Church in Cranham, Gloucestershire.

The 26 year-old wed in a vintage inspired gown with lace overlay, sweetheart neckline, 3/4 length sleeves and veil by French designer Delphine Manivet.

Her bouquet had white and champagne colored roses and the sunshine held perfectly for the couple.

Allen was given away by her father, actor and musician Keith Allen and T4 presenter Miquita Oliver, a childhood friend, was one of her bridesmaids.

Two roads, five footpaths and three bridle ways around the village were closed during the wedding and the couple paid for the extra security.

A reception is thought to be held at Allen and Cooper’s home nearby.

As Lily Allen‘s wedding to Sam Cooper gets closer – on June 11th, just two weeks to go – more details about the celebration are emerging.

Lily celebrated her bachelorette party, or as they call it in England, her “hen-do” with a rather tame dinner at the Savoy Grill at Claridge’s Hotel in London.  The evening also included a cooking lesson from none other than celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.   Lily was adorable in her wedding veil and looked like she was having a great time.

The wedding will be held at St. James the Great Church in Cranham, Gloucestershire, and as rumored, she will be wearing a dress by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel.  Lily and Sam’s reception will be held at her nearby property in Stroud.  About 300 people will attend the reception, which will include a “truly British” garden party:

“Lily is having a “cricket tea” to kick off the celebrations with finger sandwiches, tea in proper tea cups and saucers, cakes, champagne and Pimms.”

The couple will spend their honeymoon at the Glastonbury Festival, a romantic choice – its where they got together back in 2009.    Oh, l’amour!  Congratulations, Lily and Sam!

Lily Allen and Sam Cooper are tying the knot on June 11th, and they’ve asked their guests to save the date with this cute announcement.   The card features Lily and Sam’s faces Photoshopped onto a picture of a couple riding on a tractor.  I love it!  The pair will marry in Gloucestershire, in southwest England, and Lily will evidently be in a dress by Chanel – apparently her trip to Paris Fashion Week included a meeting with designer Karl Lagerfeld to discuss her wedding gown.  Congratulations to Lily and Sam!

Lily Allen could not have been more perfect for Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2011 Ready To Wear show on Tuesday.   From her Audrey Hepburn up-do to the two matching spots of color (lipstick shade exactly matching her classic red quilted Chanel bag… well done) she added to her all-black outfit, she was the epitome of stylish and cool.  Well played, Lily!

Singer Lily Allen is in the hospital being treated for septicemia, a form of blood poisoning, just a few days after she suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy.

Her spokesperson confirmed:

‘Lily Allen is back in hospital, where she is being treated for septicaemia.  She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve.  Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers.’

A friend told the Daily Mail:

‘Lily had been recuperating at home with Sam and her family, but she has been taken back to hospital and is getting the best care possible at the moment.  Everyone is extremely concerned, but she is in the best place and luckily she was admitted quickly.’

Septicemia is a potentially life-threatening condition that causes fevers, chills, and rapid heart rate, and rapidly progresses to shock, including decreased blood pressure, hypothermia and confusion.  It is treated with antibiotics.  Sometimes after women miscarry, they can get a severe infection, which can, in some cases, lead to septicemia.

We wish Lily and her partner Sam a speedy recovery.
