The romance between Hollywood legends Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton will become a Lifetime made-for-TV movie later this year with the possibility of Lindsay Lohan portraying the stunning icon.

Deadline is reporting the 25 year-old troubled actress is in early talks to take the part in a film due on the schedule later this year.

Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story is the kind of epic, sensational pairing of actors that spawned intense public scrutiny and tabloid headlines that caught the world’s attention.

Lohan could use a role like this to put her back on the map in acting. She has been posing for ads, Playboy and fashion shoots but hasn’t been able to garner the kinds of roles she was poised to grab before her arrests, rehab stints and legal troubles took over.

Since her part in the 2010 film Machete, Lohan has been absent on the big screen absence but that will come to an end when InAPPropriate Comedy with Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriguez and Adrien Brody comes out later this year.

Let’s hope that she lands this and it turns around her professional dry spell.

Lindsay Lohan should have her own personal revolving door installed at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., because she has passed in and out once again.

Lohan reported to the jail on Sunday night to begin her sentence for violating conditions of her probabtion. TMZ is reporting the actress went in at 9pm on November 6th and was released at around 1:30am on Monday morning, November 7th.

Lohan, 25, was sentenced to 30 days by Judge Stephanie Sautner but because of a federal mandate to ease overcrowding, nonviolent offenders are released early.

It was thought Lohan would be incarcerated for about 6 of the 30 days, but that turned out to be a very high estimate of the length of her stay.

Lohan is still on probation and the judge has tightened the requirements Lindsay must meet to complete her 270 hours of community service. She will have monthly goals to meet in order to successfully complete her time.

If she fails to make any of Sautner’s deadlines, she could have an arrest warrant issued for her and sent back to prison.

Lindsay Lohan went to court today, dressed in a modest navy and white polka-dot dress, to find out exactly what her sentence would be for violating conditions of her probation.

Lohan, who was kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Shelter in Los Angeles for being a no-show, faced Judge Stephanie Sautner this morning in court and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

The judge also was absolutely clear – no house arrest for Lindsay, she will be incarcerated.

Because of over-crowding, almost all non-violent offenders in California only serve 20% of that time behind bars. That translates to approximately 6 days of time.

Once she’s out of jail, the rest of Lohan’s remaining probation conditions were altered slightly – she must do all her community service at the Los Angeles County Morgue.

Sautner outlined a schedule for Lindsay to complete her time and she must start her work at the morgue the next business day.

Beginning December 14th, she must have completed 12 days at the morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions. By January 17th, 12 more days and 4 more sessions. Each month she has to have that minimum number of days of work and therapy until the end of her probation – March 29, 2012.

Lindsay was also cautioned about tweeting her experiences at the morgue.

If she fails to comply the judge said she will issue an arrest warrant for Lohan and she will serve 270 days in jail.

Lohan was given until November 9th to surrender to be allowed to finish her Playboy shoot and get any personal affairs in order before she spends her week in a single cell.

Can I just say that I have high hopes for Lindsay because she dressed appropriately, finally! It could be a turning point and I hope it shows that she really understands that she’s responsible for her own predicament.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly taking off her clothes for Playboy and earning close to a cool million dollar paycheck from the magazine.

The 25 year-old, who is currently trying to put in her required probation time at the LA County Morgue, spent the weekend posing naked according to TMZ.

Lindsay’s rep said, “I can neither confirm or deny at this time.”

The site reports that Hugh Hefner‘s company approached Lilo some time ago and offered her $750,000 but that wasn’t enough for the out-of-work actress. She wanted $1 million payday.

The two sides were able to come to an agreement that gives the troubled celebrity a pay out very close to her asking price and while no one is confirming – the non-denials do just about the same thing.

This isn’t the first time Lohan has been nude for a magazine – well partially, anyway.

In 2008 Lindsay and New York Magazine did a photo shoot with a nude Lohan recreating Marilyn Monroe’s last pictures. That session was extremely popular and crashed the mag’s website.

Lindsay Lohan has just had her probation revoked by Judge Stephanie Sautner.

Lohan, who appeared in court today for a progress report on the community service requirements of her probation stemming from multiple arrests over the years, has a number of conflicting issues that the Judge wants to sort out on a hearing she scheduled for November 2nd.

The main issue is that the Mean Girls actress was kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Center – the place she was specifically ordered to perform her community service by Judge Sautner – because she missed 9 scheduled appointments.

Lohan was also ordered to complete the 360 hours in 4 hour shifts. The report the judge had said Lohan had only done one shift for less than 2 hours before she left.

Shawn Holley, Lohan’s lawyer, mentioned that Lohan has completed most of the probation requirements the court has set out for her, but the judge was not sympathetic saying Lohan made her own mess and only completed things in the days just before a hearing implying Lohan was barely making the commitments.

Judge Sautner noted that Lohan has completed her court-ordered shoplifter’s diversion course, but also remarked that she’s had 6 months to complete it and didn’t finish it until the night before this hearing.

The judge also told Lohan that the probation department did not have the authority to reassign her to the Red Cross, which it did last week after the Downtown Women’s Shelter said she couldn’t come back right away. Lohan will not get credit for those hours.

Instead the judge reassigned her to the other part of her probation – 120 hours in the morgue. Judge Sautner was very clear that Lindsay must complete at least 2, 8 hour shifts per week leading up to the probation hearing on November 2nd.

The judge decided Lindsay could have bail at $50,000 on each of the two counts she is serving probation for.

Lohan was taken out of the court in handcuffs to post bail and Holley said she had a bondsman on hand to handle her bail.

Lindsay Lohan is making headlines once again for all the wrong reasons.

Lohan was photographed on the red carpet THQ launch of Saints Row: The Third and was promptly torn apart for her appearance.

The 25 year-old’s teeth were noticeably chipped and yellowed prompting speculation of ongoing drug use, red wine drinking, smoking and general hygiene issues.

Lohan’s publicist defended her look and said she’s in demand.

“Lindsay is widely acknowledged as one of the most stunning actresses of her day, and we get requests every week wanting to do photo shoots with her from top photographers,’ her representative Steve Honig said.

“She’s been on the cover of Vanity Fair and the top beauty and fashion magazines. She’s a beautiful and glamorous actress.”

“With everything going on – from deteriorating public education to rampant homelessness to international unrest – there is no way I’m going to comment on Lindsay’s teeth.”

In the age of blindingly and unnaturally white teeth, it is unusual for a celebrity not to have had some degree of whitening done so unfortunately for Lohan, it was observed rather quickly.

But is the attention fair? Commenting on a person’s appearance is all too common on the web – is she too fat, too thin, too much make-up, why doesn’t she have a stylist, etc…

Lohan has been her own worst enemy as far as publicity goes, being infamous for so many things other than her acting, so it seems to bolster those who look for things to criticize her with. On the other hand, she does give out lots of ammunition.

Lindsay Lohan is in Italy for the Spring/Summer 2012 Milan Fashion Week and she attended the 2011amfAR Milano Gala, Auction and Dinner held at La Permanente on Friday night.

The 25 year-old actress wore a backless, halter top black gown from designer Philipp Plein, who chose her to be the new face for the fashion designer’s upcoming ad campaign.

Plein chose Lohan as his next model, replacing his last headline-grabbing actress/model, Mischa Barton.

Lohan’s appearance in Milan for Fashion Week comes on the heels of her allegedly throwing a drink at a photographer during a party while attending New York’s Fashion Week.

Through her publicist, Lohan said she was “extremely distressed” by all the hoopla surrounding her and the rumors of bad behavior “were completely false.”

Kim Kardashian‘s nuptials has one thing similar to Kate Middleton‘s royal wedding – they each had a little of their fashion thunder stolen on their big day.

Kate’s younger sister and bridesmaid Pippa Middleton, got noticed for the peacock green Temperley London dress with plunging neckline, gathered and embellished at the waist.

Kim’s wedding guest, Lindsay Lohan, chose the same fancy frock in white (Kardashian asked guests to wear white or black for the ceremony.)

There’s a couple more differences: Pippa wore her hair pulled back in the front but down in the back, Lindsay kept her bangs down and had the rest of her hair swept back in an updo.

My fellow BSC writer gossipmonkey and I agree: P Middy looked her age – mid 20s. LiLo somehow manages to look older than her mom…

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were married today, August 20, in Montecito, California.

The entire Kardashian-Jenner family seemed to have a role in the wedding.

Kim was attended by her sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian as co-maids of honor.  Younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner served as bridesmaids along with Humphries’ sister Kaela.   Brother Robert Kardashian was a groomsman, and Kourtney’s son Mason Disick, just 20 months old, was the ring bearer.  Kim’s stepfather Bruce Jenner walked her down the aisle.

The couple’s 440 guests included many well-known Hollywood figures, including Mario Lopez, Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Ryan Seacrest, Melanie Brown, Avril Lavigne, Sugar Ray Leonard, Greta Van Sustren, Venus and Serena Williams, and  Dina, Ali and Lindsay Lohan.   Vera Wang, who made Kim’s wedding gown, also attended.

Wang actually made three dresses for Kim’s big day.   The wedding gown featured a full tulle skirt and Chantilly lace appliques.   For the reception, Kim wore two very different dresses:  a mermaid-style with more Chantilly lace, and a V-neck bias cut number with a circle skirt.   All three dresses were ivory.

The entire extravaganza will be revealed in a two-part E! special, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, in October.

Lindsay Lohan and is on the cover of the August issue of Italian Vanity Fair.

The 25 year-old actress gives the camera her all in a gingham bustier top and white short shorts and tells the magazine she’s not really the type of criminal that should ever have been in jail.

“Unless you’re a killer, I don’t see a reason to stay there. I never hurt anyone but myself,” Lohan proclaimed.

The DUI – lucky she didn’t hurt anyone. The jewelry she stole – I suppose in her mind the owners weren’t hurt when she left with their product without paying. Oh Lindsay.

Lohan also mentions she has a permit for a gun, showing it to the photographer, who was able to take the pictures of Lohan because she was on house arrest – anyone catching the odd irony here?

But Lohan, ever the optimist, wants to get back to work and put her troubles behind her.

“In October, I’ll begin work [on Gotti: Three Generations.] I hope to spend next year on set,” she told Italia Vanity Fair.

“It was all a whirlwind but I’m not a kid anymore. I’m 24 [the interview was conducted just prior to her 25th birthday on July 2nd] and I’ve made a lot of mistakes but I feel like if I can just stay focused I can achieve what I want to achieve.”

With this cover and story, will American Vanity Fair still have her for the September issue as rumored? But more importantly, do her issues sell?
