Lindsay Lohan’s August Cover Of Italia Vanity Fair

Lindsay Lohan and is on the cover of the August issue of Italian Vanity Fair.

The 25 year-old actress gives the camera her all in a gingham bustier top and white short shorts and tells the magazine she’s not really the type of criminal that should ever have been in jail.

“Unless you’re a killer, I don’t see a reason to stay there. I never hurt anyone but myself,” Lohan proclaimed.

The DUI – lucky she didn’t hurt anyone. The jewelry she stole – I suppose in her mind the owners weren’t hurt when she left with their product without paying. Oh Lindsay.

Lohan also mentions she has a permit for a gun, showing it to the photographer, who was able to take the pictures of Lohan because she was on house arrest – anyone catching the odd irony here?

But Lohan, ever the optimist, wants to get back to work and put her troubles behind her.

“In October, I’ll begin work [on Gotti: Three Generations.] I hope to spend next year on set,” she told Italia Vanity Fair.

“It was all a whirlwind but I’m not a kid anymore. I’m 24 [the interview was conducted just prior to her 25th birthday on July 2nd] and I’ve made a lot of mistakes but I feel like if I can just stay focused I can achieve what I want to achieve.”

With this cover and story, will American Vanity Fair still have her for the September issue as rumored? But more importantly, do her issues sell?

Either way, check out her photos below.  (Read the article)

Lindsay Lohan Isn’t Headed To Jail

No jail time is on the table for Lindsay Lohan because Judge Stephanie Sautner ruled she has not violated probation.

The 24 year-old was tested for and failed an alcohol test late last week after a rooftop party at her house, however TMZ is reporting the judge who ordered the substance testing, Judge Elden Fox, only approved them from January 3rd to February 25th.

Her June test was outside the time limit and cannot be used against her in this instance.

Lohan, her lawyer Shawn Holley, prosecutors and the judge were behind closed doors for most of the meeting but when they returned to open court, Judge Sautner had a stern warning for the actress and criticized her “extremely poor judgement.”

The Judge did note that her neighbors had written to her, reporting the party and amount of friends Lohan has had at her home and she was given new restrictions on how many people could be with her while under confinement.

Only one friend at a time can be at her house (besides family members) at any given time – no more rooftop (or any other) parties.

Her house arrest is expected to end on or around June 29th and the probation department cannot test her for any drug or alcohol substance while finishing her sentence.

Lindsay Lohan Headed Back To Court For Failing Alcohol Test

Lindsay Lohan‘s getting out of her house today, but probably not the way she had hoped.

The 24 year-old is currently under house arrest in conjunction with her plea deal for shoplifting a necklace from Kamofie & Co. jewelers earlier this year and part of her agreement was to undergo random drug and alcohol testing.

The Los Angeles county prosecutors say Lohan will appear in court today for a judge to determine if the actress has violated her parole.

TMZ is reporting Lohan failed an alcohol test administered shortly after the actress was seen celebrating with friends on the rooftop of her building. The website also has information that Judge Stephanie Saunter will be asked to place the actress in the L.A. County jail and take her off house arrest.

Lindsay had an interview scheduled to tape yesterday with Matt Lauer however Lauer left after Lohan did not want to do a lengthy interview for both The Today Show and Dateline.

Lauer told the audience that “Lindsay and her people had a problem with the timing of the interview and it was canceled” and he flew back from her Venice Beach apartment last night.

Lohan has had at least three probation violations in the past year, including one last August where she failed a drug test. Because she is a non-violent offender, she has been eligible for house arrest at 20% of her sentencing, however a judge will likely review all her parole problems and could change her house arrest into jail time.

Lindsay Lohan’s Ankle Bracelet Goes Off

Lindsay Lohan had a visit from authorities Tuesday as her ankle bracelet was set off.

Probation officials headed to the Mean Girls star Venice Beach townhouse to investigate the reason for the electronic monitoring device’s alarm going off and found Lohan watching her 3-D TV and reading scripts.

Steve Honig, a spokesman for the actress, said “They came as part of standard procedure to make sure the monitoring equipment was working properly.”

TMZ reports the device may have malfunctioned and Lohan was issued new equipment.

As part of her sentencing for her plea deal for the theft of a necklace, Lohan is under house arrest for 35 days and must wear the monitor at all times. She can have visitors and can go outside, but cannot drink alcohol or do drugs.

Lindsay Lohan Turns Herself In, Begins House Arrest

Lindsay Lohan is in the clink again, sort of.  She began serving her house arrest term Thursday morning after turning herself in at the Lynwood Jail.   What’d she do now?  I know it’s hard to keep track of Lindsay’s various legal issues; she has so many.   She pulled four months of jail time for stealing a necklace, remember?  But since the jails are overcrowded, she’s evidently eligible for house arrest.   Lucky girl.

Lilo was processed, fitted with an ankle bracelet (something she’s used to), and sent home, where she’s expected to stay put for at least the next 35 days.  The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department explained:

“She is now confined to the interior premises of her home at all times.”

Certain, as-yet unspecified, exceptions could allow her to leave her home during her term.  However, one thing is for certain: she won’t be let out to work off the 480 hours of community service she’s also been sentenced to. She’s been forbidden to do community service while under house arrest.

It will be interesting to see whether any of this actually does Lindsay any good.   I’m not holding my breath, though.

Lindsay Lohan Pleads No Contest To Misdemeanor Theft Charge

Lindsay Lohan has indeed entered a plea of no contest through her attorney Shawn Holley, to the misdemeanor theft charge she faced in Los Angeles court today.

Lohan was not in court today and Judge Stephanie Sautner did not order any additional jail time or community service hours for the actress, besides what Sautner sentenced to her in her parole violation hearing last month.

Lohan could serve her time at home wearing a tracking device and be under observation for as little as 14 days according to a report by TMZ. She must surrender to authorities before June 17th for her jail/confinement time.

Lindsay has already begun her 480 hours of community service (which when completed will finally clear her of her old DUI case) but she also received 3 years probation for the theft.

The 24 year-old troubled actress released a statement saying she’s ready to undergo whatever it takes to put it behind her and start fresh.

“I am glad to be able to put this past me and move on with my life and my career. I support the judge’s decision and hold myself accountable for being in this situation.”

Lohan added, “I have already started my community service at the Downtown Women’s Center and thank everyone there for their warm welcome.

She concluded, “I hope to be able to fulfill my obligation without any press attention. I think the media spotlight should be on issues such as homelessness and domestic violence instead of on me.”

WATCH: Lindsay Lohan Takes A Bite Out Of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Michael Trevino

Lindsay Lohan steps into the super popular world of vampires for a shoot with photographer Tyler Shields.

The actress took on the role of the bloodsucker and posed in a series of provocative shots with The Vampire Diaries resident werewolf Michael Trevino.

Of the photo shoot, Shields said on his blog that the timing for both actors was perfect and it just magically came together.

“Lindsay Lohan and Michael Trevino as vampires, it got intense on this shoot people left bleeding!” he wrote.

“Lindsay and I had been wanting to do this vampire shoot for a while and it came together in perfect time for my gallery, Trevino just happened to be in town it was all meant to be!”

Check out the photos on Shields site here.

Lindsay Lohan Is A Bad Girl For ‘BLANK’ (Photos)

Lindsay Lohan must be running short of cash to pay her legal bills, because she’s posing for obscure magazines again.    She’s the cover girl for BLANK‘s issue #61.  She was photographed by Dennis Leupold and Stephen Gomillion for the Panamanian rag.    If I’m translating the Spanish correctly, Lilo was deeply involved in the styling of the shoot.  Which is not surprising, really, because she mostly just looks like a trashy slut.   (Except in that one photo where she looks kind of like Paris Hilton…oh, wait.  Never mind.)    “Ooooh yeah, baby, watch me smoke while I grab my own boob…”  Retch.

HowEVER… despite the skanky sheen all over this photoshoot, I think Lindsay’s face actually looks really pretty.  Her makeup and hair are lovely.   If you want to see more, just click on through.

Will Lindsay Lohan Plead No Contest To Theft Charges?

She has been given 120 days in jail for a parole violation but will she get more time?

Lindsay Lohan is set to plead no contest to misdemeanor theft charges, according to a report on TMZ.

Lohan could go back to the judge sometime this week to enter the plea and she’s hoping additional jail time will not be ordered. Judge Stephanie Saunter found Lindsay in violation of her parole and along with time in the pokey, sentenced her to 480 hours of community service.

It is likely that because of overcrowding and the nature of the crime (non-violent) she would do about 3 weeks of jail time instead of 4 months as sentenced.

The actress had grand theft charges filed against her earlier this year when a necklace she was trying on went missing from Kamofie & Co. jewelry store in California. Lohan was seen on surveillance video leaving with the item still around her neck. Just before a search warrant was executed on her home for the porperty, a friend of Lohan’s turned it in to the police, citing a misunderstanding.
