Lo Bosworth never gets enough air time on The Hills. It’s probably because her boyfriend isn’t on the show and she isn’t a glutton for drama and controversy ala Speidi, but she’s cute and funny and should totally be featured more often. Now she’s done a pictorial and interview with OK! Magazine that shows her more provocative side.  She shares how she feels about Lauren’s departure, Kristen Cavallari’s dramatic addition to the cast and much more… Here are the highlights:

Let’s get right to it. Lauren’s leaving.
It scares me. We really are best friends. We’ve done the show for so long that we know the ins and outs — we know when we’re funny.

What do you think about Kristin joining the cast of The Hills? I’m excited! I grew up down the street from her and we had a lot of fun together. She knows how to be the center of attention and how to get the party started.

How do you think she’ll change the chemistry of the cast? Right now we’re a unit and we all like each other for the first time. We’ve gotten to a point where we know each other well and work together really well. She may stir things up. When anyone new comes into your group, you don’t know exactly what the outcome will be. You never know.

How have you personally changed since the show began? I’m more sensitive than I thought I was. We are judged; people say horrible things about you. It really sucks, but you have to look the other way. I’m caring and loving and giving. I don’t think that comes across on the show. It’s more drama and fights.

I am glad that Lo’s excited about Kristen joining, but I am so not. Hopefully she will change my mind, but it’s highly doubtful. I guess they had to bring in someone new now that everyone’s getting along so well. Drama sells!

The girls of The Hills showed up to the screening of their show at Paley Fest 09 looking absolutely gorgeous and super classy (minus Stephanie Pratt who looked like a nutjob). Audrina Patridge really seems to be growing up in her style, opting for a beautiful brown one-shoulder dress and a side-swept chignon for her hair. Her massive fake boobs were all covered up and she looks like a total lady!

Lauren Conrad showed her flirty, California style in a bright yellow layered, ruffly mini dress and her hair in long waves. Such a cutie that girl is! And Lo Bosworth went classic and chic in a two-tone blue dress and hot tan pumps.

I love these girls and can’t wait to see what happens with their careers over the next few years. What do you think of their more grown-up looks?

What do you do if you are the least-paid star on The Hills- the highest rated show on MTV? While Whitney Port got her own show, Heidi and Spencer get media attention 24/7, Audrina Patridge gets movies, and Lauren Conrad gets, well, everything… What has Lo Bosworth gotten? Yes, the inevitable The Hills episode finally arrived when Stephanie Pratt and Doug Reinhardt go out on a date behind Lauren Conrad’s back… Oh yeh, and Audrina decides to be new BFF’s with Lo Bosworth and Heidi Montag? Whoa.

As this episode of The Hills gets underway, Lauren Conrad packs for a trip to Italy. Right after, Stephanie Pratt tells Audrina Patridge how Doug Reinhardt - yes, Lauren’s Doug - asked her out. LC is not gonna like this.

At the club, Audrina and Lo are hanging out and the great Spencer and Heidi arrive! Heidi says hi. Lo, however, looks like she wants to kill herself. Heidi cannot believe about Doug Reinhardt and Stephanie Pratt either, then invites Audrina and Lo to a Bolthouse X-Games Party the next night.

Audrina and Heidi discuss doing lunch, and how they used to be close and they can’t let the LC rift get in the middle of them…

Even Spencer is telling Stephanie that the date is a bad idea, but she’s not getting the message. She goes through with the date with Doug. Stephanie asks Doug about Brody Jenner, his buddy, and tells him how she did not tell Lauren Conrad about the date. Then the unexpected happens. No, Doug doesn’t say something intelligent. Brody Jenner’s mom arrives and says hi to both of them. One could say it was an awkward run-in.

Lauren Conrad finally gets home and hears the details on Stephanie and Doug from Audrina and Lo. The reaction was predictably bad. That night, Brody makes it even worse when he tells her how his mom caught them and Doug had lied about where he was going.

Audrina also fills her in on how she met up with Speidi, to a very surprised reaction from Lauren. So, pretty much… all these friends who are using Lauren and got famous because of her are all stabbing her in the back. Lovely!!! Unfortunately, Whitney Port- her only true friend besides Lo- was no where to be seen in this episode except for a spilt second convo.

So after weathering Hurricane Gustav and being without TV for a week (among many other things), I tuned in last night to MTV and caught what I thought was a rerun of last Monday’s episode of The Hills. Only today I find out that they aired a new episode before the Video Music Awards… no wonder I was so lost. So here’s the dish on what happened.

Lauren Conrad and Co. headed to Vegas for Frankie’s birthday, and what would have been a fun night in Sin City turned into drama central after Brody Jenner continuously made rude comments to Stephanie Pratt. Caught off guard and embarrassed in front of her friends, Stephanie Pratt left the table to cry it out. Lauren Conrad followed and comforted her - drama did not exactly cease from there, though. At the club that night, Audrina Patridge showed up with Justin Bobby but refused to say hi to anyone except the birthday boy. Lauren and Audrina spent the entire night eyeing each other but would not talk.

Back in L.A., Spencer Pratt was in rare form (even for him), resorting to some passive-aggressive rage and flat-out whining when Heidi Montag’s sister Holly dared crash at their place for awhile. He’s so awesome.

So now Audrina and Lauren aren’t talking, Lauren and Doug are broken up, Heidi and Spencer are fighting… Sounds like every other week on The Hills!

Jason Whaler- ex-boyfriend of The Hills star Lauren Conrad- showed off a much fuller face last night when he stepped out with his fiancee, Katja Decker-Sadowski, to the Pepsi 500 event at Avalon nightclub in Hollywood.

The heftier MTV star also told Hollyscoop.com that he’s done with reality TV and has plans to move on to movies. He added that he was asked to return to The Hills this season but said no because he’s “just over it” and didn’t like the way he was depicted in the series. He adds that he doesn’t watch the show or keep in touch with Lauren or Lo.

I don’t mind his fuller face, really. He just looks like he’s a grown up now… But I do mind that v-neck showing off the chest hair. Ew, much?

TV Guide has take The Hills’ long-running feud to a new level by actually putting the respective “teams” uniforms!

The Hills cast members are all in a huff over their salaries. Now, to be completely honest, I was totally jaded when I thought they wouldn’t get paid much for being on a ‘reality’ show. But I couldn’t be further off then I was when I found out what they made.

Lauren Conrad gets paid $75,000 per episode. And no one else in the cast gets paid as much as her…why?

�The only reason LC gets paid more than anyone else is because she demanded in her original contract that no one could ever get paid more than her.�

Now, this only confirms what I thought from the beginning, they must be actors. If you look at how much the rest of them are being paid, it truly seems like they are trying to pull one over on us.

This is how the salaries are broken down…

�The salaries are based on who people care about watching more,� says a mole. �If you bring drama, you�ll get more money.�

So Lauren will earn $1.4 million for this season. How much will the other one’s be making, here is the list:

Heidi Montag: $65,000 per episode ($1.25 million per year)
Spencer Pratt: $65,000 per episode ($1.25 million per year)
Audrina Partridge: $35,000 per episode ($665,000 per year)
Whitney Port: $20,000 per episode ($380,000 per year)
Brody Jenner: $10,000 per episode ($190,000 a year)
Lauren �Lo� Bosworth: $10,000 per episode ($190,000 for The Hills Season 4)
Stephanie Pratt: $8,000 per episode ($152,000 for Season 4)
Frankie: $0

What Frankie gets nothing….he adds lots of drama. And Stephanie? She is my favorite! How dare they!

With an episode entitled “We’ll Never Be Friends”, I knew I was in for an interesting ride on last night’s season premiere of The Hills. The hit MTV show that follows sometimes-friends Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Heidi Montag, Lo Bosworth, and Stephanie Pratt started off with a major bang for Season 4. The drama began when Lo and Lauren threw Audrina a birthday party at their house. Audrina didn’t seem to appreciate Lo’s attempts for friendship and Lo told Lauren all about it. I mean after all, she did spend “all day” in the kitchen (hard to imagine) and got cake on her dress. Oh no!

We once again saw Heidi and Spencer’s dysfunctional relationship when she conveniently didn’t tell him that her sister, Holly, was coming to stay the weekend with them until she showed up at the door. Whoopsy. Then she invited Holly to come live with them for a while without talking to Spencer about it first. Double whoopsy.

Lauren went out on a date with a guy she had gone to prom with in high school named Doug. They seemed to really hit it off and he couldn’t wait to see her again. He even came to the above-mentioned pool party and dealt with the drama. Lovely second date, eh? I would say it looked good for Lauren, but since we saw previews of him asking out Stephanie and have heard reports of her now dating My Boys actor, Kyle Howard, I don’t see this relationship lasting long.

Lauren made Lo talk with Audrina so the awkwardness would go away, but that plan pretty much backfired. When Lo went to the back house to talk it out, the conversation didn’t exactly go as planned. Lo told Audrina she was trying really hard to be her friend, but it wasn’t being reciprocated. Audrina then told Lo a line that will forever echo in reality tv history, “I just don’t care. We’ll never be friends.” Ouch. That’s almost as good as Lauren’s line to Heidi “I wanna forgive you, and I wanna forget you.” My guess is that we will see Audrina looking for a new crib pretty soon.
