Christina Hendricks: Sexy As Ever For V Magazine

Christina Hendricks

Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks goes for total drama in the current issue of V Magazine.  For Issue 76 – The Sports Issue, Hendricks is styled as a quasi-steampunk archer.  Who knew a crossbow could be such a sexy accessory?  There’s also a shot of her as a card-flipping gambler, one presumes just for good measure.

In her interview, she dishes about working with director Nicolas Winding Refn in Drive and the wardrobe foibles that go along with starring in a show set in the 1960s.  (One word:  ouch!)

Taylor Swift’s Fashionable, Fab Cover For Harper’s Bazaar Australia

Taylor Swift is rockin’ a gold fringe Gucci dress for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia and looks fabulous for the April issue.

The 22 year-old has a decidedly sophisticated, high-fashion look for the cover and her editorial shoot inside, photographer Benny Horne gives Swift an edgy, rocker-chic vibe.

Gone is the princess-y, too-precious-cute-for-words feel the “Safe & Sound” singer can often impart with her wardrobe choices.

The Grammy Award winning singer has just arrived down under for the next leg of her Speak Now Tour and will perform in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. She heads over to New Zealand in mid-March for tour dates there.

Swift is also the voice of Audrey in the animated version of The Lorax, out in theaters Friday, March 2nd. She costars with Zac Efron, Danny DeVito and Betty White.

Megan Fox Tells Cosmopolitan Husband Brian Austin Green Is Her ‘Soul Mate’

Gorgeous Megan Fox strikes a sultry pose in a beautiful beige Herve Leger by Max Azria dress for the April Cosmo cover.

The 25 year-old beauty told the magazine her husband, 90210 star Brian Austin Green, is absolutely the man for her.

We’ve had obstacles, and we’ve overcome them,” Fox told Cosmo. “I truly feel like he’s my soul mate. I don’t want to sound corny or cliché, but I do believe we are destined to live this part of our lives together.”

She also said she isn’t the wild-child people think she is.

“It’s because I have tattoos and I say curse words, and apparently, that’s crazy. I think maybe I give off this energy of seeming like I don’t give a f—, and that’s misinterpreted. But I’m not wild.”

Megan will be in the new Judd Apatow comedy This Is 40, due out December of 2012.

Fox’s issue of Cosmo is on sale Tuesday, March 6th.

Julia Roberts Talks Kids & Young Hollywood For Vanity Fair

As someone who started out young in Hollywood and was no stranger to tabloid headlines, Julia Roberts knows a thing a two about how the fame game is a double-edged sword.

The Mirror, Mirror actress shared her thoughts to Vanity Fair about how much has changed since she was first finding her footing in the business.

“The business is so different; you can never be that new girl that has that moment of ‘Where’d she come from?’” she says.

“There’s the express elevator and there’s rehab. It’s so awful; nobody gets a fair trial-and-error period that everybody deserves and everybody needs.”

Although she may feel for new thespians breaking in, she’s says she’s always been concerned her kids; 7 year-old twins Finn and Hazel; and 4 year-old Henry; are not confused by her celebrity status.

Roberts recalls a time “on a crowded street, and somebody noticed me, and then another person noticed. Somebody said as we were walking past, ‘Oh, that’s Julia Roberts.’ We all just kind of kept going, and then Finn said, ‘Yeah, my mom’s Julia Robinson.’ That’s what gives you perspective. It could be Robinson, it could be Johnson, because it has nothing to do with me as a person.”

You can pick up Julia’s Vanity Fair cover edition on March 6th.

Katy Perry Smolders As She Channels Amy Winehouse For Interview Magazine

It’s a side of Katy Perry the public isn’t used to seeing.

Sultry and sexy, Perry is glammed up for the March issue of Interview magazine, giving the world a peek at her without her usual candy-colored hair and costuming.

The Teenage Dream singer looks strikingly like Amy Winehouse with her teased hair, big earrings and heavy eyeliner.

It wouldn’t be Katy without some sparkle and glitz though. The diamond encrusted push-up bra gives the photos that Perry touch.

Katy’s interview (done by Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig) will be online at Interview magazine‘s site on Thursday.

Emma Watson To ‘Elle France’: “I’m Kind Of Boring”

Emma Watson

I try not to use the phrase “gracing the cover” of a magazine anymore; I think it’s way overused.  That’s never a problem when it comes to Emma Watson, though.  While she’s entirely graceful in every way, she doesn’t just “grace” a magazine cover:  she ROCKS it.

To wit:  Watson’s cover for the current issue of Elle France Weekly (January 27, 2012).  Photographer Rankin caught her looking fierce, flirty and just plain fabulous.

Emma talks fashion and fame with the magazine.  Some highlights from her interview:

On her now-famous pixie haircut:  “For ten years, because of my Harry Potter contract, I wasn’t allowed to cut my  hair.  This summer, when I could finally do as I liked, I really went for it!”

On her personal style:  My problem is that I’m kind of boring.  I don’t carry designer handbags or wear huge sunglasses.

On choosing to embrace fame rather than reject it:  “When I don’t have to be “Emma Watson” in public, I prefer not to put myself out there.  Someone asked me why I took the job with Lancôme if I wanted to stay out of the spotlight.  In fact, I’ve let go of the idea that perhaps I could someday become anonymous again.  Before, I used to insist on riding buses and trains:  my way of rebelling against my suffocating fame.  But last year, I was in Bangladesh, passing through a very poor village, with huts made of dried mud.  This ragged little boy asked me, ‘Hey, aren’t you the girl from Harry Potter?’ I mean, what can you do?”

If you read French, catch her whole interview here.  And don’t forget to click through for some more pics from Watson’s cover shoot.

Selena Gomez And Her Digitally Enhanced Cleavage Cover ‘Cosmopolitan’

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez is all grown up, and if you didn’t know it before, you will now.  The 19 year old star is on the cover of Cosmopolitan‘s March 2012 issue.  She offers readers a sultry look and a couple of new friends below her neck.  Where did she get those enormous boobs?

From Photoshop, of course.  And lest you think I’m just hating, I am certainly not.  If you look at any photos of Selena, it’s obvious that her cleavage has been enhanced.   Check her out here, here and here.  And especially here.

The Disney darling gushes about her relationship with sweetie Justin Bieber to the magazine.

“I’m just like every 19-year-old girl.  If you’re in love, you’re in love to the fullest, and you just want to go to the movies, hang out, and be as normal as possible.  I’m fortunate that I’ve found someone who has that philosophy.”

Very sweet.

Is Cosmo intentionally seeking younger and younger cover girls, or is landing a Cosmo cover becoming the new rite of passage for Hollywood starlets?  Last month, Dakota Fanning‘s cover for the – let’s call it what it is – sex-obsessed – women’s mag caused quite a stir.   Then again, Selena is an adult (though barely), and Dakota is still a minor (though barely – she turns 18 next month).

What do you think?  Sound off in the comments!

Victoria Beckham Is A ‘Numéro’ Uno Cover Girl

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham is on the cover of Numéro’s Tokyo‘s current edition.   The international publication of art, fashion and design scored the hot mom and fashion designer for their issue #54, the Super-Lady Issue.

The magazine asked Beckham (whose photoshoot is amazing) to describe her fantasy fashion show front row, and this is what she said:

My husband. David has never been to any of my shows as I’m incredibly nervous and I need to focus and concentrate, apart from him Tilda Swinton. She’s so striking and I would love to dress her. She’s incredible looking and I love that she seems so confident in herself she doesn’t feel the need to conform.

Tilda Swinton!  Now that is an unexpected response.  Perhaps there is more depth to Posh Spice than we ever thought!

Kerry Washington Gets Super Sexy For ‘Details’

Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington is featured in Details February 2012 issue.   The actress, whose early credits include a 1994 ABC Afterschool Special, has a lot going on this year.  While she tells the magazine she “wasn’t invested in the fame part” of working in Hollywood, she’s certainly made quite a life for herself in TV and film.  She’s got a role in Quentin Tarantino‘s upcoming Django Unchained, and stars in the new political TV series Scandal.

In the photo accompanying the article, Washington wears nothing but a black blazer and a pair of heels.  What can we say?  Her sex appeal speaks for itself.
