The Michael Jackson estate just signed the biggest deal in the history of music.  It is worth up to $250 million with a guarantee of $200 million.  Um, hi.  That’s a lot of dough.

The MJ estate inked the deal with Sony Music Entertainment.   There will be ten projects over seven years.

The first album will release in November.   It will be loaded with never-before released recordings. Michael Jackson left enough ‘fresh’ music to make 3 new albums!

Sony will also get a two-year extension for the right to distribute the Michael Jackson catalog through 2017.

Wow, that’s a long time and a lot of money.  Amazing.  MJ is gone, but…. not really.

The L.A. County Coroner’s report regarding the death of Michael Jackson has just been released. The bottom line, Propofol killed Michael Jackson.

TMZ reports, the manner of death is homicide and the conclusion is based on the following 4 items:

1. Circumstances indicate the Propofol and the benzodiazepines were administered by another.

2. Propofol was administered in a non-hospital setting without any appropriate medical indication.

3. The standard of care for administering Propofol was not met. Recommended equipment for patient monitoring, precision dosing and resuscitation was not present.

4. The circumstances do not support self-administration of Propofol.

Hopefully this will be the beginning of closure for the Jackson family as Dr. Conrad Murray on charges of has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.  Read the details at Bumpshack.com

La Toya Jackson played a Sexy Santa at AIDS Project of Los Angeles last week.  She passed out toys to children of families affected by HIV/AIDS, and also presented a $10,000 check to benefit the organization.  Part of the funds came from the sales of her song Home.   La Toya said of her involvement:

“My brother Michael, he really donated a lot to AIDS Project L.A. And I wanted to continue that — continue what he did for them.  And it makes me feel good to be a part of this and they’ve embraced it so wonderfully.  And I’m happy to be doing something. It’s a little bit of something that I’m doing but it helps. So I’m urging others to come out and try to do the same.”

Bet the folks at APLA are glad to have her as their supporter – just back in September, La Toya partnered with Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood to raise funds for the organization.  Go Toya!  Way to spread the Christmas spirit and honor her brother’s memory at the same time.

My favorite new singing/rocking sensation, Orianthi Panagaris was in New York City yesterday (December 10) to sign copies of her new CD “Believe” at Best Buy in Union Square.  She looked amazing and sounded even better.  I am so in love with this girl’s talent.  She never ceases to amaze, and well…if you haven’t listened to her, you are missing out!

If you watched Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It‘ then you saw Orianthi rocking out on stage with MJ.  Stunning.

Of all the bizarre things associated with Michael Jackson and his death, this has got to be one of the strangest.   A company called My DNA Fragrance creates custom perfumes using people’s genetic profiles.  They have teamed up with a celebrity hair collector named John Reznikoff to design a line of celebrity-based scents – including M, which was engineered from DNA supposedly extracted from Jackson’s hair.

The company says:

“DNA can be extracted from hair shafts with or without the follicle intact. My DNA Fragrance has analysed Reznikoff’s private collection of celebrity hair and is now engineering exclusive fragrances of each celebrity.  We use the genetic code to formulate the fragrance. If you are putting on MJ’s perfume it’s a unique fragrance to him.”

So what does M smell like?

M is an exclusive one-of-a-kind fragrance that explodes into an indescribable fragrance, which seemly draws the attention of every person in the room. It is composed of the lightest, but most volatile essences. Much like the performer himself, this cologne is unique and like no other cologne in the world. We guarantee it.

Creepy.  That is just totally creepy.  First of all, who collects celebrity HAIR?  Second of all, who gives pieces of it away to make perfume out of it?  And third of all, who makes perfume out of hair samples?   Oh, and if you don’t like the smell of M, you can always buy something else from the Antiquity line, like the perfume of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Katharine Hepburn, or Joan Crawford.

And we thought the Burger King scent was weird…

Michael Jackson’s famed glove that he wore during the moonwalk seen around the world at Motown’s 25th anniversary special, just got a new owner.  A Hong Kong businessman, Hoffman Ma bought the studded glove on Saturday (November 21)  for $350,000, PLUS TAX!

MICHAEL JACKSON NOMINATED FOR 5 AMAs TONIGHT!

The Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square is the site of this massive auction. Hoffman Ma will pay a grand total of $420,000 after taxes and fees, and he even thinks that he got  ”fairly good discount.” Wow!  He must have a bottomless bank account!

Michael Jackson had given the glove to Walter “Clyde” Orange, of the Commodores.

Oh my goodness!  I can’t stop laughing at this picture of Gerard Butler in London!  He is totally spoofing Michael Jackson by dangling what looks like a teddy bear wrapped in a towel out the window…just like Michael Jackson did with his REAL baby. Wow.  That is too funny.  I just love Gerard Butler.  The guy is hot and HILARIOUS.  Perfect combination.

ABC’s Robin Roberts did an exclusive interview with Janet Jackson that is set to air on Wednesday (November 18) and is promising to be an emotional one.

Aside from the healing process that Janet shares with Robin, she points the finger at Dr. Conrad Murray.  Janet blames Murray for her brother, Michael Jackson’s death.

“He was the one that was administering … I think he is responsible.”

Janet confides on how hard this time has been for her,

“It’s been a tough year … You have your days where it’s just really — it’s hard to believe. And a day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about him.”

Even now, Janet is has a hard time believing that MJ is gone, that this has really happened,
