This movie looks like most period romances, not exactly aimed at the 18-30 male demographic.

That’s right, expect a brand new Hairspray sequel. It’s official. John Waters will be writing it and director/choreographer Adam Shankman will return to helm the project. Tony winning song writers Mark Shaiman and Scott Wittman will be writing brand new songs for the film. None of the original actors have been attached yet but New Line is hoping to bring backJohn Travolta,Christopher Walken,Nikki Blonsky,Zac Efron,Queen Latifah,Michelle Pfeiffer,James Marsden,Amanda Bynes,Elijah KelleyandAllison Janney. The film should be out in mid-July of 2010.

Did the story of George Clooney‘s bet with Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman turn up at just the right time to dissuade current girlfriend, Fear Factor winnerSarah Larson, from getting any matrimonial ideas?
That motorcycle accident left him in a very tenuous position. When the accident happened, George was heard telling his injured girlfriend Sarah Larson that he “loved her.” (She won’t forget THAT soon.) And certainly he is riddled with guilt because he was responsible for her injuries, including a broken foot. He owes her BIG TIME. An accident usually bonds people together. But George is a serial dater and dead set on staying single. Hence the story about the bet “resurfaced” to soften the blow when he moves on from Sarah.
That sounds about right.

A little wager among friends is always fun and George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer know how to raise the stakes. Pfeiffer is taking Clooney’s bet that he will never re-marry again. The actor has often expressed he has no desire for children and will never marry again. Pfeiffer thinks he will eventually succumb to somone’s charms.
But judging by George’s past form, it looks like Michelle will have to pay up, as both she and actress Nicole Kidman previously bet George 10,000 that he would become a father by the time he turned 40.
Kidman duly sent him a cheque on his birthday for the full amount, only for the serial monogamist to return it with a note that said, “Double or nothing for another 10 years.”
Clooney will never walk the aisle. I just don’t see him giving up his infamous bachelorhood. Although Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson eventually did.

Gorgeous leading ladies Michelle Pfieffer, 49 and Sienna Miller, 26 were on hand for the London premiere of the film adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Stardust. Notmuch more to say other than how beautiful they both looked.
