Mila Kunis will not be the only celebrity attending a Marine Corps Ball this November. Mila’s Friends With Benefits co-star  Justin Timberlake has been invited to the Washington, D.C. Marine Corps Ball and has accepted.

Under pressure from Justin, Mila accepted a YouTube invitation from Sgt Scott Moore to attend the annual formal dance.  Shortly after, Cpl Kelsey De Santis issued her own request, asking Justin to be her date.  At the end of her 15-second video message, Cpl De Santis references one of Justin’s song, saying that he can “Cry Me A River” if he says no.

No one will need to cry, because he said yes.  He told reporters:

“I’ll tell you what: I accept.    But not because she shouted out one of my songs, which I do love.  And not because she had all those beefcake military guys behind her to intimidate me.  I don’t get asked out.  Ever. So I was very flattered by that.  If my schedule works out to do it, I’d love to do it. It’s an honor.”

I can’t say how much I love this.  I think the whole thing is awesome:  the chutzpah on the part of these two Marines to seriously ask for the date, the willingness of the celebs to actually do it.  Of course, now YouTube is going to be flooded with requests from everyone and their pet lizard asking celebrities out on dates, but if there is one lesson we can all take from this, it is:  it can’t hurt to ask.

Red hot Mila Kunis covers the August issue of GQ and gets massive amounts of geek-cred by revealing her love for Star Trek.

“I got into it in my late teens—18, 19, 20,” Mila said. “Something like that. I got into it later than most people. But let’s not talk about it in the past tense. I’m still a Star Trek fan. You never stop being one. Let me give you my rundown of the series in order of most favorite to least favorite.”

Kunis is such a fan of the franchise, she has her own personal ranking of the different series and went to a fan convention a few years ago.

“I went to the Star Trek Experience in Vegas maybe five years ago,” the actress said. “I hung out with a bunch of fake characters inside Quark’s bar. [Ed note: Quark was the name of the Ferengi bartender on DS9.] There were all these actors there pretending to be the different characters from the different shows. Yes, I loved it.”

Now every fan will challenge her to a Trekkie Trivia contest!

There is one Marine who is getting a super hot date for this year’s Marine Corps Ball.

Sgt Scott Moore, who is currently serving with the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, posted a video on YouTube asking actress Mila Kunis to the formal dance, to be held on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina.

“Hi Mila. It’s Sgt Moore, but you can call me Scottie. I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps. Ball with yours truly,” the sergeant said on the video. “So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now.”

Little did he know he would get his wish – Mila acccepted!

The 27 year-old star was doing press for Friends With Benefits with costar Justin Timberlake when the video was brought to their attention and JT was all over it.

“Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country,” Timberlake asked Kunis excitedly, before sending out a direct message to Moore. “I’m going to work on this, man. This needs to go down.”

After Mila realized it was not a joke, she consented and said “I’ll go. I’ll do it.”

How envious is every other soldier for not thinking of this! Very cool thing for Mila to do.

Mila Kunis graces the cover of Canadian fashion magazine Flare for the August edition in a beautiful rosy pink Lanvin dress.

The 27 year-old actress revealed that she and Justin Timberlake are BFFs, reality TV is her Sunday release and she’s planning on traveling next year.

On set with JT was the best: “There wasn’t one day [on set] when I didn’t crack up. Justin has become one of my closest friends. We realized we had the same sense of humor, we got along really well and we had the same opinions on things.”

On how she likes to spend her Sundays: “I love bad TV, so if I can just stay home on a Sunday and catch up on my horrible reality shows, with my dogs and my Pinkberry, to me that’s heaven.”

On taking time off: “I’ve never had honest time off. I’ve always been reading scripts and looking at projects, so come January of next year I’m going to take a solid couple of months off and hopefully go travel. Like, truly travel. Travel and see the world and experience life.”

Mila’s cover will be on newsstands July 11th.

Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis got their paws all over each other on stage at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards.

Hosted by funnyman Jason Sudeikis, the Friends With Benefits costars took a rather cheeky approach to addressing rumors that they too became FwB…

Timberlake, 30, laid out the premise of the joke.

“Even though we’re in the movie Friends With Benefits, Mila and I have never dated,” Timberlake explained. “[We have a] totally platonic relationship, which is why I can do this,” he said as he went in for the boob grab.

Kunis, 27, didn’t miss a beat and snagged his crotch as the audience gasped and laughed.

The two then went into the award presentation and Mila said: “‘And the winner for best male performance is…,”

Timberlake cut her off with a laugh saying “I think we just found out… What a shameless reference to my penis.”

The two clearly have an easy rapport with each other.

Mila Kunis sauntered down the red carpet Saturday night for Spike TV‘s 2011 Guys Choice Awards at Sony Pictures Studio in Los Angeles.

The Black Swan star wore a multi-print dress from Givenchy 2011 Pre-Fall collection and Christian Louboutin shoes for the ceremony.

Kunis, 27, accepted the Holy Grail of Hot Award from her Friends with Benefits costar Justin Timberlake. Despite the sexiness trophy, Kunis recently told LA Confidential magazine that she thinks she’s anything but.

“I’m flattered, but I’m not that person,” Kunis says. “Sophia Loren is a sex symbol. If watching TiVo and eating Pinkberry in sweatpants is sexy, then I’m your gal.”

Sexy, strong and confident, actress Mila Kunis takes the cover of LA Confidential for the summer 2011 issue.

Kunis’ career is red hot right now in part thanks to her role in Black Swan (where her costar Natalie Portman won just about every award available this year,) and the upcoming Friends with Benefits where she gets a little onscreen action from Justin Timberlake.

But the actress is still pinching herself with all her successes and good fortunes.

“I’m incredibly blessed,” Kunis told the magazine. “I started acting when I was nine years old, and if you would have told me that, at 27, this is where I’d be, I wouldn’t have believed it.”

One thing she doesn’t really buy into though is the ‘sex symbol’ label and she downplays her hotness.

“I’m flattered, but I’m not that person,” Kunis says. “Sophia Loren is a sex symbol. If watching TiVo and eating Pinkberry in sweatpants is sexy, then I’m your gal.”

I dunno Mila. I suspect even in sweatpants you deserve the title.

Natalie Portman‘s dancing double from the film Black Swan is claiming that she deserves more credit than she’s gotten since the film’s release.

The ballerina who served as a dancing double for Natalie Portman’s Oscar-winnning role in Black Swan tells EW she has been the victim of a “cover-up” to mislead the public about how much dancing Portman actually did in the film. “Of the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie,” says Sarah Lane, 27, an American Ballet Theatre soloist who performed many of the film’s complicated dance sequences, allowing Portman’s face to be digitally grafted onto her body. “All the other shots are me.”

Lane’s claim follows a March 23 L.A. Times article in which Portman’s fiancé and Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied said Lane’s work in the film was far less significant. “There are articles now talking about her dance double [American Ballet Theatre dancer Sarah Lane] that are making it sound like [Lane] did a lot of the work, but really, she just did the footwork, and the fouettés, and one diagonal [phrase] in the studio,” he said. “Honestly, 85 percent of that movie is Natalie.”

Today even Mila Kunis came to her friend Natalie Portman‘s defense.

“Natalie danced her a– off,” says Kunis. “I think it’s unfortunate that this is coming out and taking attention away from [the praise] Natalie deserved and got.”

Kunis also says Portman has been honest about how much of the demanding footwork she was — and wasn’t — able to do. “She’ll tell you [that], no, she was not on pointe when she did a fouetté [turn]. No one’s going to deny that. But she did do every ounce of every one of her dances,” she says. “[Lane] wasn’t used for everything. It was more like a safety net. If Nat wasn’t able to do something, you’d have a safety net. The same thing that I had — I had a double as a safety net. We all did. No one ever denied it.”

Sarah Lane just looks desperate and silly here, what kind of recognition does she want? They don’t have a Best Double Oscar now do they? She was hired to do the job, she did it and got paid, I don’t see why she’s complaining. I’m sure there were about 20 qualified dancers that could have done the exact same thing, yet she’s still whining. I bet she’s ruined her chances of doubling for anyone else in hollywood again. I’m glad the choreographer and Mila Kunis set the record straight here. Even if he didn’t say 85% of the movie was Natalie Portman, she deserved the Oscar for her whole performance, not for dance steps. Does this story remind anyone else of the plot from the movie? Just saying.

Here’s the full trailer for the upcoming comedy Friends With Benefits starring Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake.

I love Mila Kunis, she’s one of my favorite actresses these days. Justin Timberlake is bearable, but I’m not too thrilled about seeing him do much more than sing and do SNL sketches. I sort-of want to see this but unfortunately this movie looks like it’s going to fall victim to an extremely predictable story line. I’m hoping it pulls a big surprise and they don’t fall in love, but I’d say chances are slim.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel ended their relationship last week and within hours, the rumors circulated that Mila Kunis was the cause.

Timberlake is costarring with the Black Swan actress in an upcoming movie and the pair’s onscreen chemistry was alleged to have carried over in real life.

Timberlake’s pals are coming forward saying it isn’t what you think.

“They’re not in a relationship,” the source tells People magazine. “They star in a movie called Friends with Benefits but they’re just friends. That’s it. They are not together.”

Biel and Timberlake were just at an end, claims the JT pal.

“Mila had nothing to do with their break-up,” the source says. “In fact, no one came between them. They decided their relationship ran its course and it was time to move on.”

Whatever happened between Biel and Timberlake, seems to have ended as amicably as it could so there is no reason to bring drama where their isn’t.
