Two down in two weeks! The “European” duo on America’s Next Top Model had it’s first casualty last week when Athiest and arrogant Elina was sent packing. Her even more annoying and awkward friend Marjorie was finally dumped last night. The chick took some good pictures, but her personality, nerves and boring demeanor is what sent her packing. But that wasn’t until she got drunk, hooked up with her boat driver in the bathtub, and complained about her Dutch shoes all the way through her photo shoot. She’s a winner.

It was the week for go-sees on America’s Next Top Model and Majorie’s nerves got the best of her. She only made it to two, and neither client booked her. McKey made it to four and all four wanted her, but she arrived back 5 minutes late and was disqualified. Analeigh ended up booking three of three and won $18,000 worth of deginer goods.

For the photo shoot, Tyra Banks was photographer and did one clean/natural shot and one super glam shot. Sam shined brighter than ever and won the praises of the judges. Elina never let go enough to get a good shot and was lit up by the judges at panel.

In the end, the proud “Europeans” Majorie and Elina were in the bottom. Majorie takes a great picture and was given a second shot, and thankfully the equally annoying Elina was sent packing. Like one of the designers said, she’s not a model… She was just playing one. Amen, brother.

Helena Christensen has proven that you don’t have to be young to be sexy.  At nearly 40 years old, she clearly rocks Agent Provocateur’s new sexy pirate-themed ads for their upcoming collection, Pirate Provocateur.

New photos and a video preview the collection, which is available starting today.  The Daily Mail describes the video:

The action takes place in the depths of a galleon with much drunken and debauched revelry, featuring a posse of pirate-princesses in flimsy scraps of lace, toting cutlasses.

Pirate Queen Helena appears in a red lace basque, brandishing a dagger, and succeeds in seducing the captain of the ship who is unaware he is being robbed blind and facing a mutiny.

Inspiration for the video came from satirical 18th century artist William Hogarth, specifically his two paintings “A Rake’s Progress” and “Strolling Actresses Dressing In A Barn.”

The founder of the edgy lingerie company, Joe Corre, loves the choice.

Can we say “eeeewwww” any louder?  Billy Ray Cyrus, who infamously said that he didn’t know Annie Liebowitz was “going to strip [Miley] down and wrap her in a blanket…but, hey, that’s life” has reached new lows of irresponsibility regarding his daughter Miley Cyrus.  He takes credit for her current romance with 20-year old underwear model Justin Gaston.

“I introduced the two of them. He’s a good kid. Great heart. Lives for the light and he’s very talented.”

Hmmm, just how much talent does it take to stand around in front of a camera in your skivvies?  But it doesn’t end there.  One of the reasons Dad likes Justin is that he sees himself in his daughter’s suitor.

“He actually reminds me a lot of myself when I was 20 years old and I was living and searching for the dream…He’s got a great heart and soul, and a lot of determination. I think that’s the true measure of a man, is when you measure his heart.”

After being booted from America’s Next Top Model, Isis King had some things she wanted to say. Here are some of them:

“I have a lot of personality people!” the 22-year-old from Prince George’s County, MD proclaimed to reporters during a Thursday media conference call that followed her elimination on Wednesday night’s broadcast. “I have a really big personality,” Isis told reporters. “I am a really humble person… but I’m goofy. I like to have fun. That part of me [the show wasn't] really showing. It showed more of my struggle, which I do have also.”

“I think [it] started to drain me so much to be constantly on the cameras 24-hours-a-day and not have any time for privacy at all to get myself back together to talk to somebody,” she told reporters. “On the show I didn’t really have a problem with anybody. I see the comments that some individuals make but on the show I pretty much got along with everybody,” she added later.

Isis said she had never wanted to enter the show labeled as a “transgendered model” and had wanted to be judged “on the same level as anybody else.”

Since being announced as a contestant on the show, Isis said that she had received an outpouring of positive feedback from the gay, lesbian, and transgendered community, and even told reporters that she had been asked to be honored by a Maryland civil rights group. “I thought that was very wonderful. Like, why would you want to present me with an award?” she told reporters sheepishly.

“I learned first, for me [to actually say] ‘you know I’m gonna go for it, and no matter what people think about me and see my flaws I’m gonna give it my all because I never know what could come from [that] opportunity,” she told reporters.

She added that she had still to complete her gender reassignment, but hoped to finance it in the next year through modeling and fashion design jobs she hoped to get as a result of her participation from the show. “I’m a model and fashion designer, that’s my biggest passion, I’m an artist first,” she told reporters. “Hopefully I can be on runways and get campaigns.”

“It goes to show you that no matter what people say or think about you, or no matter where you come from, you can achieve whatever you want,” she told reporters later. “It’s cliche, but it’s true because I’m not where I wanna be yet. But even me getting this far, and from where I’ve started I’ve struggled a lot and will still continue to struggle, but I know that I’m moving in a positive light, so I’m happy.”

Move over, Janice Dickinson! The real model show is invading your territory! Tyra Banks‘ show America’s Next Top Model has been bought by Oxygen Media (home of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency).

Oxygen has acquired the exclusive cable rights to the reality competition series “America’s Next Top Model.” The announcement was made last week by Jason Klarman, General Manager, Oxygen Media.

The network will bring viewers all the “Top Model” fashion challenges, photo shoots and model mayhem as the full library of the hit series joins Oxygen in January, 2009.

In an agreement with CBS Television Distribution, Oxygen will retain exclusive cable rights to all episodes including the 11th cycle currently airing on the CW, the show’s 12th cycle now in production and repeat airings of any future cycles beyond.

Created and hosted by world-renowned supermodel Tyra Banks, “America’s Next Top Model” premiered in 2003 and became a phenomenal television success, especially among young women, “Generation O,” Oxygen’s target audience.

The “Top Model” genre of programming and the show’s personalities have already proven successful on Oxygen, with “The Tyra Banks Show” airing daily on the network and former “Top Model” judge Janice Dickinson’s series “The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency” now in its fourth season.

“The acquisition of this franchise will be a great fit for Oxygen’s slate of original programming and introduce the show to an untapped demographically desirable cable audience,” said Scott Koondel, Executive Vice President of Off-Network, Cable and Interactive Media for CBS Television Distribution.

I wonder if Janice and Tyra will ever reunite for an all-too-trashy joint episode?

When the girls of America’s Next Top Model were called to do a Jeremy Scott runway show, they were all excited to strut their stuff… Until they found out one of them would be going home! Despite Ms. Jay’s bowling alley practice earlier in the week, some girls were seriously struggling. Hannah looked like a deer caught in headlights, and Samantha worked the dress so hard that she flashed the audience. Analeigh knew she had to step up her game, and she brought it. Joslyn ended up as challenge winner, but poor little Alaskan Hannah went home.

Then the girls found out their next photo shoot would be in their own backyard pool… and once again, transgendered Isis got nervous about being in a swimsuit. Everyone in the house had accepted her as one of the girls, and they were only shooting from the nose up coming out of the water, but her fear got the best of her and she choked.

At panel, Clark got called first and had the best photo of the week.  She was followed by Analeigh, Lauren, Sheena, McKey, Marjorie, Joslyn, Elina.  Samantha and Isis were in the bottom two.  Tyra told Samantha that the designer was insulted by what she did on the runway, but she takes beautiful photos.  She told Isis that she was no longer the girl who stood out in the background last year and that her eyes look sleepy.

Samantha’s name was called, and Isis hit the road.

Supermodel Marisa Miller has been named the latest Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Miller made her first official Angel appearance on Tuesday, helping to launch the new VS fragrance Very Sexy Dare.  She was already the face of the lingerie maker’s SWIM line.    And her new bosses love her.

“Marisa is one in a billion,” said Ed Razek, Chief Marketing Officer and President of Brand and Creative Services at Limited Brands. “She’s the quintessential California beach girl, she’s incredibly gorgeous and she exudes a remarkably positive energy.
