Here’s one of the very first posters for the upcoming comedy sequel A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas.

I really liked the first movie, and mildly liked the second. I’m not expecting high art here, but I am expecting high laughs (pun intended). This is not a movie that’s trying to be anything it so obviously isn’t, just a bunch of silly Christmas and 3D themed gags. Not to mention a lot of gross out humor. I just hope it’s better than the last one.

Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming comedy The Rum Diary starring Johnny Depp.

This movie really looks funny, the trailer has some great laughs. Hopefully it didn’t show all the funniest scenes already. Depp is great at comedy, I do wonder how much of a serious tone this movie may strike, or if it’s pure insanity. The Rum Diary is in theaters on October 28th; nice to see it won’t just be horror films that weekend.

Here’s the first official poster for the upcoming film starring Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher The Iron Lady.

Meryl Streep is probably going to be contending for best actress yet again at next year’s Oscars for her role in this film. She’s the only actress that is so consistently impressive that nominations are incredibly common. This isn’t a movie that would have any pull for me were it not for her involvement. The Iron Lady opens on December 16th, 2011.

Here’s the first poster for the upcoming sequel Ice Age: Continental Drift.

The first three movies were big successes, I’m sure this one will be too. It’s hard to believe the summer movie season has ended, now we’re moving towards all the new advertising for summer 2012. The Summer Olympics, Presidential Election and a stellar movie season;  2012 is going to be an interesting year.

Tom Cruise gets his hoodie on in the first Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol movie poster.

The fourth film in the franchise, Ethan Hunt (Cruise) and his team are forced to go underground to clear their name after being implicated in a global terrorist plot.

The movie stars Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Josh Holloway, Michael Nyqvist, and Tom Wilkinson. Executive producer J.J. Abrams and director Brad Bird helm the thriller.

The release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is inching closer and Summit has released two new teaser movie posters to whet fans appetite.

Kristen Stewart (Bella) and Robert Pattinson (Edward) are wrapped in an embrace with their wedding bands (check out Bella’s ring!) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob) has a solo poster with his fierce, angry self.

Breaking Dawn part 1 opens in theaters on November 18th.

Here’s the poster for the upcoming drama The Ides of March starring George Clooney and Ryan Gosling.

This movie looks like it’s going to be a good political drama, something we know George Clooney is good at. Remember, he directed Good Night, and Good Luck. in 2005, which was an excellent film! Needless to say I have high hopes for this one. I hope it lives up to the expectations.

The brand new poster for Taylor Lautner‘s non Twilight movie – Abdutction – is out.

Lautner gets his turn as action star in the film where he plays a young guy who finds out his whole identity is false.

The official synopsis:

“What would you do if you found your own picture on a missing persons website?  Teen Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) finds himself facing this very dilemma. Setting out to uncover his real identity, Nathan quickly learns his parents are far from who they say they are. When the police, government agents and shadowy figures start to pursue him, Nathan’s quest for the truth erupts into a full-blown “Bourne”-like man-on-the-run thriller.”

Abduction also stars Sigourney Weaver, Lily Collins, Alfred Molina, Maria Bello and Jason Issacs. The film is directed by John Singleton and is in theaters on September 23rd.

So many Twilight: Breaking Dawn goodies!

But Bella and Edward aren’t the only pair on this poster – Alice (Ashley Greene) and Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) are cuddled together; Carlisle (Peter Facinelli) and Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) are united and Emmett (Kellan Lutz) holds on tight to Rosalie (Nikki Reed.)

Everybody has their supernatural better half except poor Jacob (Taylor Lautner) who is all alone and scowling. Can’t blame a wolf for being angry amidst all that happiness, now can you?

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming comedy Tower Heist starring Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy.

It seems like any movie that Eddie Murphy gets involved with nowadays is just terrible. This movie looks very bad to me, I’ll be avoiding this at all costs. What do you think, funny?
