Last night’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala theme was “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy.”

Naomi Watts definitely got into the spirit with this dress! The glittery star accent and the pointed detail around the arm holes are interesting but fairly subtle nods to the theme. I’m just not sure what I think of it all.

On the pro side, she looks totally old Hollywood glamorous; white is a great color for her; and I really love the pleats. Also, she looks much better than most of the other attendees.

On the con side, I’m kind of feeling like the arm detail looks a little too much like wings. I also think that EITHER the wingy pointy detail OR the glitter star would have been great alone, but together they’re a bit much.

I’m firmly on the fence on this one. What do you think?

Out for a stroll with the family seems to be the theme lately. Actors Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts were photographed in Lithuania with son Alexander in the stroller. Schreiber is currently filming Defiance.

Actor Liev Schreiber has a few choice words for the paparazzi trying to take a picture of his new baby with actress Naomi Watts. The couple was out for a bite to eat when Liev flew into a tirade and chased the photographers while shouting obsenities.

The frustrated and limping star of the “Scream” flicks went off on a photog after walking up the stairs of Taverna Tony’s, where he set down his baby’s carrier, turned around and pushed the pap while screaming, “You f**king disgust me, it’s a f**king child and I have one f**king foot!” It didn’t end there though — Schreiber then chased the rest of the photogs on scene, screaming at them and making them retreat to their cars.

I get that the photogs are intrusive, but I find the “I have one f**king foot!” bit amusing. Awww, poor Liev. Check out the video here.
