Ne-Yo is the sure to be big winner this week with the release of his third studio album Year of the Gentleman, accompanied by another attempt at chart success with the release of Nelly’s Brass Knuckles. My personal favorite release would have to be Raphael Saadiq’s The Way I See It - an album complete with a 60’s feel (and a Stevie Wonder collaboration to lend its stamped seal of authenticity to the project).
Also noteworthy - friend of mine, Casely has a pretty sick collaboration (”Defend Dade”) with Pitbull on DJ Khaled’s We Global, also out today.

Rapper Nelly is the new spokesman and body of Diddy’s (P. Diddy/Sean Combs/ Puff Daddy, whatever his name is now…) Sean John underwear line. I thought they hated each other but it seems like Nelly and Diddy have a lot of love to share.
“To me, Nelly is the quintessential definition of the Sean John man,” says Diddy, otherwise known as Sean Combs. “And let’s be honest, all of the ladies out there are going to be thanking us for this campaign.”
On the other hand Nelly claims he has been a fan of Diddy and his Sean John clothing line for a long time. So it is an honor for Nelly to represent Sean John’s brand new fall collection of underwear basics and loungewear. (Go to SeanJohn.com and feast your eyes on the underwear line!)

Reportedly miffed about then-girlfriend Ashanti’s interview comments demoting him to nothing more than a friend, Nelly split from his collaborator and moved onto a new love interest (or bed sheet tryst interest) in the form of blue-eyed soul crooner & UK Import Joss Stone. RANDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
