Wow, I would have never put Penelope Cruz in Sex and the City!  She better keep her hands off of Mr. Big!  He’s taken!

It’s about time!  Javier Bardem and his gorgeous girlfriend, Penelope Cruz are finally engaged!  We have heard lots of rumors that Penelope is pregnant or that they were engaged and now it’s true!  Well, the engaged part.

Back in August, Penelope didn’t know if she even believed in marriage,

“I don’t know if I believe in marriage.  I believe in family, love and children.”

I guess that Javier made her a believer!  I am so glad too.  I think they make a wonderful couple and those babies are going to be gorgeous!

Just Jared has confirmed that Penelope Cruz is pregnant with her first child.  The baby daddy is of course her longtime boyfriend, Javier Bardem.

“Penelope is about four months pregnant,” a source tells Just Jared. “She’s really healthy now and will be a great mother.”

I think they are going to have a beautiful baby!  Great genes!!  Congrats to the happy couple.  I hope that you fully enjoy your pregnancy, Penelope!

Penelope Cruz wore a pretty purple off the shoulders number for the screening of the film Los Abrazos Rotos (Broken Embraces) today at the Cannes Film Festival. It’s about a woman who’s husband was injured in a car accident and has been left blind. Penelope’s character longs for her lover and not her husband.

I can’t get her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona out of my head. I loved her in that. It was nice to see a different side of her. Hopefully she will be nominated for an Oscar again. She deserves it.

Penelope Cruz was so excited when she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress on Sunday night. We all know that she played a great psychotic ex-girlfriend in the movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Sometimes you forget that these stars live for this moment (expected or not) and celebrate. Reports are that Penelope was so excited that she took her Oscar home and slept with it that night!

“When they gave it to me I could not stop crying for 20 minutes. I could not look at it - is it for real, or one of those things my friends gave me or something? This morning I woke up with the same feeling. But I had put the Oscar in my bed, on the other pillow, I looked - and it was there!”

How cute is that? I know that I would probably take a bath with it, sit at the desk with it, never let it out of my sight. I know my acceptance speech would suck though. I would be so nervous that I wouldn’t be able to talk.

Penelope Cruz looks excited while she kisses her Best Supporting Actress Oscar that she won for her role in the movie, Vicky Cristina Barcelona. I loved the role that she had in the movie, it was the only Oscar nominated movie I did see. Playing a psychotic ex-lover would have it’s challenges especially since it was in the same movie as such other good looking people like Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem. Penelope Cruz was at the 2009 Orange British Academy Film Awards today (February 8th) in London making sparks on the red carpet. She ended up winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. I recently watched that movie and I loved it…except for all the wine they drank and the end.

With all this travelling that Penelope is doing she says that she is immune to jet lag.

“I think you reach a point where you have so much jet lag that you can’t feel the jet lag anymore. It’s just like regular. I wake up and I really don’t know which city I am in. I just get off the plane find some make-up and shower and here I am. It’s a big adventure.”

I am not immune to jet lag. Even just two hours messes me up! Penelope is up for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. I hope she wins it.

Scarlett Johansson said that kissing Penelope Cruz, in her latest movie, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, was way better than kissing Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

“Everybody wants to know what it was like. Penelope had less facial hair than a guy so it was certainly more pleasant. It was better than kissing Jonathan Rhys Meyers in ‘Match Point’.

“Kissing him wasn’t that bad, but he did have to stop and shave in the middle of a scene even though he’d shaved that morning. The man has really got some beard on him!”

Does that mean that she likes kissing women in general? If it does, Ryan Reynolds sure is a lucky guy.

Penelope Cruz seems to be getting humble the more popular she is getting. In a recent interview with Parade magazine she was asked about her beauty secrets, and she answered…

“I don’t have any. I don’t think I am beautiful. I can look good and I can look ugly. What’s funny is that when I was younger I wanted everyone to look at me. Now I like to watch other people because you can learn a lot of interesting things.”

Being humble like that makes her more attractive. She has a beauty that I wish I could have.

Is it true that you have 883 tattooed on your ankle?
It is true, but I never say why.
