Ginger Spice is attempting to follow in Posh Spice’s stiletto heels by working with UK chain Topshop and develop a line of clothing all her own. Geri Halliwell has been spotted taking a meeting with Sir Phillip Green, mogul and head honcho of Arcadia, owners of the Topshop stores. Could be interesting to see her designs and how they’d compare to Victoria Beckham.Â

Poor Victoria Beckham. She just can’t get it right when it comes to fashion. First, her denim line, dVb, got pulled from Henri Bendel and Kitson due to poor sales. Now, Saks Fifth Avenue has yanked Posh’s designs from their racks. But this time it seems she brought it on herself.
Bosses of the New York shop were reportedly furious by Beckham’s decision to sell her much-hyped dresses exclusively in rival store Bergdorf Goodman.
A source tells the New York Post, “They were offended when she sold her dress line to Bergdorf’s and not to Saks, even though Saks launched her denim line in their New York store. Bergdorf never carried her jeans, but they got her designer line anyway.”
What a dummy! She should know that you don’t bite the hand that feeds you! Doesn’t she have any one advising her better than this?
Meanwhile, her rep is trying to salvage the situation through PR:
“At this time there is no Victoria Beckham product stocked at Saks, but we continue to work closely with several leading stores and many independent U.S. fashion retailers.”
Well, good luck with that, Posh. I’ll be looking for your jeans at leading stores such as Ross and T.J. Maxx.

Now, you can buy a T-shirt with Victoria Beckham looking very…Victoria Beckham-y for a skin care campaign funded by Marc Jacobs. Why does everyone think they have to get naked to support a cause? Proceeds will go towards The Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group.
“Since we moved to California I have realized how important it is to practice safe sun for myself and to keep my three boys’ skin well protected as well. “Skin cancer is a huge problem and I really wanted to help raise awareness by taking part in Marc’s initiative.”

Love her or hate her she gives good quote. Victoria Beckham has taken issue with people who have claimed husband David Beckham was digitally enhanced for his Armani ad campaign.
She says, “I’m proud I still have a really good sex life with David. He is very much in proportion. He does have a huge one, though. He does. You can see it in the advert. It is all his. It is like a tractor exhaust pipe!”
Lucky gal.

Being singers, mothers and fashion icons are not enough for some women. Gwen Stefani and Victoria Beckham are also head honchos for their own line of clothing. Stefani has L.A.M.B. while Beckham has her DVB line. Our spiciest gal Posh, is none to pleased that Stefani is winning the fashion and business wars.
Gwen’s recently released LAMB fragrance is number one at the department store level, and her fashion, handbag and accessory lines are flying off the shelves as well.
Meanwhile, the sharpest stab of all is who Gwen has chosen to create her upcoming LAMB fashion line — Rock & Republic! Why is that so shocking? Because Victoria had a famous falling out with the folks at R & R, the team who helped launch her first jean line. This year she went over to 1921, and launched her DVB line, which according to numerous retail sources is BOMBING big time.
Anyone who reads this site knows my love for Gwen Stefani. I don’t find anything appealing about Beckham’s denim line. Not that it couldn’t be good, but it’s just so 70s to me. It just reminds me of the Jordache jeans back then, Yes, I know I dated myself. I’ll go get my walker now…

LA Galaxy soccer star David Beckham is not adjusting well to life in the States according to Celebrity Babylon. His father suffered a massive heart attack recently and the numerous injuries he’s sustained keeping him off the field are playing havoc on the sexy athlete’s attitude.
“David is miserable here,” a source close to David Beckham tells Celebrity Babylon, “and he wishes he could pack up the wife and kids and move back to Europe. If there’s a word to describe what he’s going through, it’s that he’s homesick.”
His wife, Victoria Beckham, loves Los Angeles and his children Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz are adjusting well, according to the source. He has a deal with the LA Galaxy team reportedly worth $250 million for 5 years so unless he has a magic wand up his sleeve, it looks like he will be here for a few more years.

Victoria Beckham is ready to strip down and raise her profile in the States with The Pussycat Dolls. Posh Spice will join the burlesque troop for a few guest appearences this fall.
She would follow a high-profile list of stars to join the popular performers on stage, including Carmen Electra, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
