Molly Sims Is Pregnant With Her First Child

Molly Sims will join the mommy club this year.

The 38 year-old model and her husband, producer Scott Stuber, are expecting their first child.

Sims already feels the that “pregnancy glow”:

“There are simply no words to describe the feeling,” Sims posted to her official website. “I finally get what they mean when they say pregnant women glow.”

The Project Accessory host said she chose a unique way to let her husband know she was pregnant – a fortune cookie message!

“I hijacked a fortune cookie and typed a new message so that when he opened his cookie at the end of the meal, he found out he was going to be a daddy,” she wrote. “You can only imagine how nervous I was during the entire meal — I think I ate a total of two bites — but the look of surprise and pure joy on his face was priceless.”

Sims has said in the past she planned on both biological children and adopted.

“I will adopt and I definitely do want to have my own children,” she told Aspen Peak magazine. “Absolutely, my biological clock is running. I find if we start with our little ones, it may not be where the most improvement is, but it’s where the most hope is.”

Sims and Stuber were married in September. She is due in June.

‘Project Runway All-Stars’ Won’t Have Heidi, Tim, Michael Or Nina

Not even Project Runway is exempt from the reality competition show trend of bringing back cast from the previous years to try again.

Project Runway All Stars, which won’t hit airwaves until late 2012, will have familiar faces in the sewing room (and trudging off to Mood,) but the judges and mentors are all new.

Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors will not sit in judgement on these designers creations. Model Angela Lindvall takes Heidi’s place as host/judge. Designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman will round out the other two chairs while Marie Claire editor Joanna Coles mentors in the workroom.

So which designers will get to try their hand at sewing glory again? Here’s your rundown…

Austin Scarlett – Season 1 (fourth place)
Kara Janx – Season 2 (fourth place)
Elise Jimenez – Season 4 (tenth place)
Kathleen ‘Sweet P’ Vaughn – Season 4 (fifth place)
Rami Kashou – Season 4 (runner-up)
Jarell Scott – Season 5 (fourth place)
Kenley Collins – Season 5 (second runner-up)
Gordana Gelhausen – Season 6 (fourth place)
Anthony Williams – Season 7 (fifth place)
Mila Hermanovski – Season 7 (second runner-up)
April Johnson – Season 8 (fifth place)
Michael Costello – Season 8 (fourth place)
Mondo Guerra – Season 8 (runner-up)

The prizes they are designing for are not too shabby – an exclusive designer’s boutique in Neiman Marcus stores, $100,000 in technology and office space, and $100,000 in cash. They will also vie for a feature spread and a one-year assignment as guest editor for Marie Claire, as well as a sewing and embroidery studio provided by Brother International.

So what do you think of the cast?

Who would you like to see back on the runway? I’m already missing Daniel Vosovic, Korto Momolu and Santino Rice and think they would be excellent additions. What do you think?

Molly Sims Will Host ‘Project Runway’ Spinoff ‘Project Accessory’

Lifetime is giving accessory designers the chance to “make it work” with Project Accessory.

The fashion competition show will showcase twelve designers work as the Project Runway spinoff challenges them to push their knowledge and talents to create inspired works each week.

Actress and model Molly Sims has landed the coveted Heidi Klum spot of hosting the show with designer Kenneth Cole and InStyle editor Ariel Foxman as judges. Lifestyle expert and Vivre CEO Eva Lorenzotti is the program’s Tim Gunn, mentoring the competitors through the creative process.

Production has already begun and the identities of the cast is still secret but the 8 one-hour episodes are likely to run in November when Project Runway: All-Stars bows.

The designers will be pressed to create belts, handbags, shoes, hats, jewelry, headpieces and more for a chance at the inaugural title.

Heidi Klum Gets Naked For ‘Project Runway’ Season 9 Poster

Heidi Klum strips down to promote the ninth season of Project Runway in a brand new poster for the fashion designer competition reality show.

The former Victoria’s Secret model has chosen to leave little to the imagination and go nude, grabbing some attention for the TV show. Klum, 38, has her costar, Tim Gunn‘s famous catchphrase “Make It Work” written on her arm for good measure.

All the usual suspects are returning this year; Klum, Gunn, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors and will judge 20 contestants for the opening episode.

Making guest judging appearances this year are Kim Kardashian, Christina Ricci, Malin Ackerman and Zoe Saldana.

Season 9 debuts on Lifetime on Thursday, July 28th at 9pm.

Heidi Klum Poses Nude For New ‘Project Runway’ Promos

Heidi Klum will take it all off to promote the show that’s all about the clothes: Project Runway.

The 38 year-old model, producer and fashion mogul shot the ads for the show’s upcoming ninth season earlier this week and is posing nude to help Lifetime network move to a sexier, more confident female image.

Lifetime president and general manager Nancy Dubuc is attempting to shift the cable channel’s programming of “women in peril” theme to one that’s more current with today’s woman, their television viewing habits and embracing a stronger female.

Plus as Dubuc succinctly said “it’s Heidi F–in’ Klum.”

The ninth season of Project Runway will bow later this summer.

Two Spinoffs For Project Runway On Tap

Harvey and Bob Weinstein are ready to work their magic on the small screen.

The brothers, founders of Miramax Films and now their latest venture, The Weinstein Company, are making a full court press for TV shows including two spinoffs of their popular Project Runway show on Lifetime.

Project Runway Masters will focus on seasoned professionals (similar to Top Chef Masters, I would wager.)

Project Runway Accessories is all about the added frou-frou that makes or breaks an outfit. (Will this show be about actually creating the accessory or styling a look with accessories?)

Overall the company is projecting to have 8 shows on air by the end of 2011.

Project Runway 8 Finale WINNER Is Crowned (It’s a SHOCKER)

The eighth season of Project Runway just concluded and it did so in shocking fashion.    The three finalists Andy South, Gretchen Jones and Mondo Guerra faced off in the season finale.

But the crowned winner, Gretchen Jones, a 28-year-old came out on top, shocking everyone. The girl was called “Miss Bossy Boots” thanks to her arrogant attitude.

Heidi Klum Says Goodbye To Victoria’s Secret

Gretchen walks away with $100,000 and the title, plus of course all of the new opportunities this victory will bring her.

I think that Andy and Mondo will have huge careers as well.  This is just the first step.

Project Runway Lands Sex and the City’s Betsey Johnson

Famed designer Betsey Johnson is heading to Project Runway.  We have all seen her amazing designs on the very fashionable Sex and the City.  Now she will be gracing Project Runway with her very present presence.

Chris Noth Is Delicious

Heidi Klum and Seal Reality Show – Love’s Devine

Betsey will likely be the most “colorful” judge the show has ever seen.  I think she’s perfect and hope that she makes several more appearances in the future.

Project Runway FINAL 3! Who’s Your Pick? (Photos)

Project Runway FInal Three

Last night on Project Runway the final three designers were chosen. Christopher and Gordana were sent packing as they couldn’t get it together for the rather simple challenge.   So the remaining three girls, Carol Hannah, Irina, and Althea are going on to finale.

Congrats ladies! now get your ‘stuff’ together for Fashion Week in New York City!

Which lady of fashion do you think should go all the way?

Make It Work! ‘Project Runway’ Has Designs On Wii

'Project Runway' Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn could be in your living room next spring. Atari is producing a game for the Nintendo Wii system that will allow you to show off your design skills with design challenges, and hair and make-up styling – all part of the game inpired by the hit show. Using the Wii Balance Board you can send your model down the catwalk for the judges to critique. No word on Michael Kors or Nina Garcia being a part of the fun.

Will they make Heidi’s avatar say “Auf Wii-dersen?”

Carry On…
