Quentin Tarantino’s Eight Favorite Movies of 2009 (Video)

Quentin Tarantino

Here’s Quentin Tarantino listing of his favorite movies of 2009.

1. JJ Abrams’ Star Trek

2. Sam Raimi’s Drag Me To Hell

3. Judd Apatow’s Funny People

4. Jason Reitman’s Up in the Air

5. Prachya Pinkaew’s Chocolate

6. Jody Hill’s Observe and Report

7. Lee Daniels’ Precious

8. Lone Scherfig’s An Education

This is a good list and I admit I haven’t seen An Education or Funny People yet, but now I have more reason with his seal of approval. I’m a little surprised that he has Observe and Report on there, I didn’t think that movie was all that great.

Inglorious Basterds: Quentin Tarantino Gets WAXED and Nicely Too (photos)

Quentin Tarantino waxed at Madame Tussauds

The super talented actor/director, Quentin Tarantino was at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood last night (August 7th) for the unveiling of his waxed likeness.

I think that they did an amazing job!  Look at how real the fake Quentin looks!  Simply fabulous.  I think he was eating up the moment.  It’s  apretty cool honor to have someone spend that much time to create another one of you!

Plus, Quentin has his Inglorious Basterds flick sweeping the world.  He’s got to be one happy dude, quite pleased with himself in fact.  Nice work!

Quentin Tarantino Is A Hoarder

quentin-tarantino

Some people have lovely collections in their homes that add value and beauty.  Quentin Tarantino, may have collections of things in his home, but it doesn’t sound deliberate or organized.  He sounds more like a messy hoarder than anything else.

I’m a bachelor, so literally my place is like a dorm room. A fraternity house of one. If you walked in the door you would just see lots of stacks of s**t.

“You could come to my house to visit and bring a copy of a magazine  with you and put it on the counter, and three years later you could come back and that magazine would still be on that counter.

“I have a problem throwing stuff out.”

He blames his being a slob on being single?  I’m sure if he ever lived with someone, he would still have a problem throwing stuff out.  It’s all just so icky.

Tarantino doesn’t seem to think this is a problem.  In fact, if you have upgraded your electronics, and gotten rid of something obsolete, he thinks less of you!

“I lose respect for people who disconnect their video tape player. If you don’t have a record player, if you don’t have a vinyl player that you can play, if you don’t have your VCR still connected to your TV, you go down a little bit in my estimations.”

I wonder if Tarantino still listens to eight tracks and lights his house with oil lamps as well.

UK Premiere: ‘Inglorious Basterds’ Cast Lights Up London (photos)

Inglorious Basterds premiere in London

Fans of the long awaited film, Inglorious Basterds went nuts for their favorite stars as the cast hit the red carpet for the premiere on July 23rd at the Odeon, Leicester Square in London.

Brad Pitt apparently couldn’t make an appearance, what’ s up with that?  Diane Kruger looked amazing and the genius, Quentin Tarantino looked great on her arm.  Mickey Rourke looked well, like himself. Tiny Iron didn’t look so tiny on the red carpet.  Alex James needed to get rid of the smoke, geesh.  Neve Campbell was simply lovely.  Rihanna on the other hand looked like a total moron.  In fact, her ‘style’ drives me up the freaking wall!  What is with her?

Anyway, back to the point (not the points on the ends of Rihanna’s fingers) Inglorious Basterds is going to be an amazing film and I can’ twait to see it.  Tarantino always makes a massive impression with his work….

20th ‘Inglourious Basterds’ Poster Has Eli Roth

inglouriousbasterds-19

Here’s yet another new poster for the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film Inglourious Basterds, this one features Eli Roth.

Frankly I’m sick to death of new posters for this movie, they need to stop. This makes poster number 20! Seriously, 20! Can you say overboard?

Pitt Stands on a Pile of Nazis on New ‘Inglourious Basterds’ Poster

inglouriousbasterds-18

This is another new poster for the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film starring Brad Pitt Inglourious Basterds.

Ok, so this makes nineteen posters for this movie, yes, nineteen! This is some serious overkill; is this what the movie is going to be like? I miss the good old days when they would make one Poster and call it a day.

Ok, I think they’ve released enough posters. This is one of those movies that I get more worried about being bad with every new piece of marketing I see.

International ‘Inglourious Basterds’ Trailer Has Even More New Footage

inglouriousbasterds-11

Here’s the international version of the Inglourious Basterds trailer starring Brad Pitt.

This version doesn’t show much more, but it certainly gives a good feel for the comedic aspects of the film. Tarantino has a knack for dark humor, he’s just never applied it to WWII situations.

Most Revealing ‘Inglourious Basterds’ Trailer Yet

inglouriousbasterds

Here’s the final theatrical trailer for the new Quentin Tarantino film Inglourious Basterds.

This is certainly a much more revealing trailer than previous versions, the story seems much more clear. I have to admit I’m not quite as excited by this trailer as I was with the original. I just can’t get over Brad Pitt‘s strange performance.
