‘Real Housewives’ Kim Richards Checks Into Rehab

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has checked into rehab for alcohol abuse and “other problems” according to reports.

The 47 year-old reality show participant is at an undisclosed treatment facility working on her issues and it’s been revealed, this isn’t the first time she’s sought help.

“Kim has been to rehab more than once before,” a source tells People magazine, “but every time is a new time, and everyone just hopes this sticks and that she gets the help she needs. It’s serious.”

Adding to her problems, Kim may be homeless. Richards is no longer living with her boyfriend Ken, whom Kim was recently seen moving in with on the BRAVO show. She was staying with various friends before entering the rehab facility.

Richards erratic behavior was called out by her sister, Kyle Richards, on the finale of season 1 of the show.

After fighting with Kyle during a party, the two continued their argument in the back of a limo where Kyle screamed at Kim:

“You’re an alcoholic! Yeah, that’s right. I’ve said it and now everybody knows!”

This season, when Kim was slurring her words and appeared intoxicated during a trip with fellow housewife Adrienne Maloof and her husband Paul Nassif, she later confessed to taking multiple anti-anxiety and anti-seizure medications. Nassif cautioned Richards that the combination could be why it looked like she was drunk.

RHONJ Jacqueline Laurita Quits Show & Says Teresa Guidice ‘Is Scum’

The Real Housewives of New Jersey will be down one more cast member as Jacqueline Laurita has quit the show.

Laurita called out fellow cast member Teresa Guidice for starting a rumor about Guidice’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, and plotting to embarrass Gorga at a local fashion show.

The rumors were flying last week about Gorga being a stripper before she married Guidice’s brother, Joe Gorga. Melissa says that it is not true, she was a (clothed) bartender, briefly at Lookers Gentlemen’s Club and never was a dancer. The club owner, Larry Guarino, has confirmed that she was employed for a short time and did not work the pole.

None of this has stopped Teresa from trying to humiliate Melissa, according to Jacqueline.

“Someone( not me) got set up tonight,” Jacqueline posted. “There are some sneaky people trying to make someone look bad & then play innocent on camera. Sad”

“Teresa told me that ‘rumor’ about Melissa when she first started the show,” Laurita tweeted the following day. “She wanted her out then. She plotted it. She played dumb on camera and even defended Melissa.”

The RHONJ star went on to say that Teresa is “scum” and that the full story will “eventually come out.”

“I’m not so forgiving anymore,” Jacqueline stated.

The cast is in the midst of filming season 4 currently. Jacqueline reportedly did not take part in the season 3 reunion (which will end next, Sunday October, 9th) which was filmed this week.

Did Ramona Singer Get Jill Zarin Fired From ‘Real Housewives Of New York’

The dispute between Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin still lives on.

The former costars of Bravo‘s Real Housewives of New York City feud and Singer’s recommendations may have influenced Zarin leaving the show, according to one insider from the series.

“[Ramona] came to Bravo with a few pals she thought would make good additions,” the source told US Weekly. “Bravo decided to go with the new girls and not Jill, so Ramona basically ran her off the show.”

Singer, 54, says she nor any other cast member has that much influence over the executives and the casting calls they make.

“We can recommend people to come to the show, but it’s not my decision,” Singer said.

Was it the fighting amongst the ladies that got to be too much?

Zarin, 47, told Good Morning America that the environment of the show is ‘toxic’ and while no one associated with the show asks for fights to occur, they are encouraged.

“There’s no question there was fighting going on,” Zarin said. “But I believe the format of the show encourages that. And even if someone doesn’t say to you to have a fight or whatever, you feel like you’re supposed to.”

“The ratings encourage that,” she said. “It’s a toxic environment. It took me months to come down from it.”

I wonder if this is accurate. Perhaps Ramona didn’t want to work with Jill, but Cindy was a Ramona recommendation (that clearly didn’t work out,) and Alex was/is her friend. It seems like Bravo had a lot of changes in mind with or without any encouragement from an individual cast member.

Watch Jill’s interview below and tell us what you think – Do you think Ramona is able to get someone kicked off the show?

‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Cast Shake Up – Jill, Alex, Kelly & Cindy Are Not Returning

It’s true!

All week rumors were circulating that four of the Real Housewives of New York City would not return to the hit Bravo TV show for season 5, but now it’s confirmed.

Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop were dropped from the reality show and will no longer be featured weekly.

“Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and LuAnn DeLesseps will be returning for season five of The Real Housewives of New York City,” the official statement from Bravo said. “We’ve had a fabulous run with all the ladies and appreciate them sharing their lives with our viewers.”

“It is a friendly departure among the other ladies and we continue to have ongoing discussions with them.”

I can’t say I’m surprised by Cindy or Alex’s departure. Kelly isn’t much of a shock either, considering they reduced her time tremendously on camera after the “Scary Island” incident of season 3.

Jill not coming back is a surprise. She creates huge drama that Bravo has devoted an enormous amount of time too.

Now the question is who do you replace them with and how to still keep viewers tuned in.

Who are you most happy is gone? Who will you miss?

Let’s hear it from you!

Jill Zarin Discusses Her Future On ‘Real Housewives’

Jill Zarin is among the cast of Real Housewives of New York that may be replaced for the fifth season of the show.

While Zarin’s rep is saying that “no final decisions have been made” and negotiations are continuing, Zarin was a little cagey when discussing her future on the Bravo TV show.

“There really is no such thing as a pink slip when it comes to TV,” Zarin told Showbiz Tonight. “Really they ask you if you’re interested in coming back, and it’s a negotiation and if the money’s right and the timing and terms, so everybody has a different deal.”

She goes on to acknowledges that Bravo is reaching out to potential new housewives as well as talking to existing cast and while she doesn’t confirm she’s leaving, she certainly left the door wide open for a possible departure.

Besides being one of the most polarizing figures on the show (almost the entire season 3 run was Zarin being nothing more than a “mean girl” towards then cast mate Bethenney Frankel) Zarin does have a tremendous following that would be tough for Bravo to pull in with a brand new, unknown housewife.

And, let’s be honest; the show gives each of the ladies a huge platform to plug their other business ventures: Jill’s House of Zarin and Skweez Couture line, and Ramona Singer‘s pinot grigio and jewelry lines are examples, so it doesn’t seem likely any of them would leave willingly.

So here we are still talking about Jill’s possible departure. Smart business woman.

Have Three Of The ‘Real Housewives Of New York City’ Been Fired?

Contract negotiations for cast members of the Real Housewives of New York City are continuing but according to reports, three of the women have not been asked back.

Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon are out according to a source cited by a Huffington Post report. All three of the women were told Thursday morning by Bravo according to the report and will not be regulars in season 5.

McCord has denied this report via twitter.

“Speaking for myself only, there is no decision yet whether I’m in or out of #RHONY. Nothing’s finalized, though I’d like to do another year,” she tweeted.

Zarin’s rep responded with a similar statement saying the discussions are ongoing “and no final decisions have been made.” Bensimon’s rep echoed the same on going discussions statements of the other two women.

Cindy Barshop has weighed in on the rumors as well. She is also reported to have been given the boot from the show’s fifth season.

“Everything out there right now is just rumors. Nothing is 100 [percent] decided yet, it could go either way,” Barshop said.

Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer are the only originals left if this ends up being true. Sonja Morgan entered the cast in season three.

It seems unlikely Bravo would replace that many cast in one season. Jill  – who is a lightning rod for controversy each season – seems the least likely to get fired.

This sounds like a lot of casting controversy for publicity to me.

What do you think? Want Bravo to start over with the cast or are you happy with how things are?

BRAVO Plans To Address Russell Armstrong Suicide In ‘Real Housewives’ Special

The second season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is still set to premiere on September 5th, but in light of Russell Armstrong‘s suicide, many have wondered exactly how Bravo intends to address the issue.

The network has put together a special that includes cast members Kyle and Kim Richards, Adrienne Maloof, Lisa Vanderpump and Camille Grammer and possibly some of the women’s husbands.

Taylor Armstrong, estranged wife of Russell, does not appear in the episode.

It is not known when this would air but it is speculated it could be in replacement of the annual reunion specials.

While Bravo has re-edited the show, it is not clear if the 47 year-old’s suicide and problems in the Armstrong marriage (including Taylor’s allegations she was physically abused) will be taken out entirely or if some mention will remain in the shows.

Russell was found dead by hanging at a LA residence on August 16th. He is survived by his wife Taylor and their 5 year-old daughter Kennedy.

Jill Zarin Is Not Leaving ‘Real Housewives Of New York’

She’s one of the most polarizing cast members of Real Housewives of New York but contrary to rumors, Jill Zarin says she’s not going anywhere.

“The rumors about Bravo dropping me from The Real Housewives of New York City as well as rumors that I am leaving the show are simply not true,” the Bravolebrity said.

“Everything that has been reported is simply rumors, gossip and speculation. I personally have been busy with my shapewear line, Skweez Couture and am still very much part of the Bravo family.”

The rumors Jill refers to is a published report from New York Post’s Page Six that said it was possible Zarin wouldn’t be asked back for season 5.

Contrary to that, on Monday it was announced Jill is one of the stars that Bravo has tapped to promote the series in a Real Housewives Tour. She appear with Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes, Miami’s Maryisol Patton and New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga in Georgia on October 15th.

Zarin, 48, has had battles with fellow RHONY stars Ramona Singer, Alex McCord and Alex’s husband Simon Van Kempen this past season and who can forget her very ugly season 3 fight with former Housewife Bethenny Frankel. Her presence certainly adds drama to the show. She is an integral part of why people tune in. I can’t imagine Bravo ditching her.

‘Real Housewives’ Taylor Armstrong’s Husband Russell Armstrong Commits Suicide

Tragedy strikes Bravo‘s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as one cast member’s husband committed suicide.

Taylor Armstrong‘s husband, Russell Armstrong was found dead in a friend’s home on Mulholland Drive after taking his own life. The 47 year-old businessman hung himself in his bedroom, according to TMZ sources.

Russell’s lawyer, Ronald Richards said he had been struggling with the separation and mounting financial problems, including a lawsuit recently filed against the RHOBH couple.

“I feel bad because his credit cards weren’t working … He had tremendous financial problems,” Richards told TMZ. “He was also extremely bummed out about the divorce with Taylor.

“As far as a will, even if he does have a will, they don’t have any assets, so I’m not sure what there would be left to leave. I am extremely saddened … I had no idea he was depressed.”

Taylor, 40, had filed for divorce from Russell in July citing physical and verbal abuse. They have one child, 5 year-old daughter Kennedy.
