Lea Michele was a fashion standout at the 38th Annual People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre on Wednesday, January 11th.

The Glee star wore a 20s inspired white fringe tea midi-length gown from the Marchesa Spring 2012 collection. The draped sleeves and gathered waist

Michele took home the win for Favorite TV Actress, Comedy and gave a shout out to her other costars.

“This is so amazing,” she said. “I want to dedicate this to my amazing cast — my glee club… I’m an only child, and now I have 11 other siblings.”

She also tweeted thanks to her fans.

“I CANNOT believe I just won!!!! You guys are the absolute best!!! Thank you so much for voting for me this is such an amazing blessing!!!”

Sandra Bullock rocked a sexy fitted pantsuit for the red carpet premiere of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, held at the Zeigfeld Theater in New York City on Thursday night.

Bullock chose the black satin pants, plunging neckline jacket and stingray belt from Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2012 line.

She kept her accessories simple by wearing only a couple of large cocktail rings and a carrying a dark silver metallic clutch.

The Oscar winning actress also wore her hair sleek and straight for a winning look.

Bullock, 47, has very little screen time in this drama which focuses on a young boy who loses his father in the September 11th terrorist attacks and his search through New York City for a mysterious box his dad left him.

Bullock said the amount of screen time wasn’t an issue for her; it was the quality of the part and the other folks involved in the film who made it worth her while.

“It’s truly this amazing story of this child’s point of view of what happened in his life that was this horribly tragic event,” she said at her visit to NBC’s Today Show. “And to see it through his eyes is far more, I think poignant and impactful, than to see it through an adult’s eyes.”

“I’ve already had those moments [starring, larger roles], I think. I mean, there might be more, I don’t know, but I don’t know how many moments and opportunities like this there’ll be — with stories like this, with directors and casts like this — it’s like the rare moments in life where all the elements are there, and they all come together for some strange or bigger reason.”

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is in theaters on Christmas Day.

Minnie Driver played it pretty safe at the 2011 Museum of Contemporary Art Gala.  She wore a fairly simple blue column gown made a little more interesting with a short train.  I feel like I should hate this dress, given that it looks like wallpaper (come on, tell me it doesn’t), but it works even so.  It’s a great color and cut for her, and that’s honestly most of the battle right there.   You know you’ve got it going on when you can wear a wallpaper dress and make it look good.

But when did Minnie get so skinny?  She’s looking nearly gaunt in the face and arms.

Dita Von Teese wasn’t the only celebrity with a busy party schedule last weekend. Gwen Stefani went straight from the launch of her new collection for Target, Harajuku Mini, to the Museum of Contemporary Art gala.

She wore L.A.M.B. (of course) for the Target launch but for the gala, she chose a really interesting black gown by Carven for the MOCA gala.  Very Japanese inspired, unsurprising for her.  I’m not sure I love the overlapping neckline; it looks like the dress is going to strangle her any second, but I like the side-gathered skirt.  My favorite part, though, is her bright blue shoes – they give just a little pop of color.  Totally Gwen!

Nicole Richie‘s sense of style just keeps getting better as time goes on.  Whether she’s touching down at the airport or walking the red carpet, she always looks amazing.  For the 2011 Museum of Contemporary Art Gala, she chose an embellished mauve gown by British designer Julien Macdonald.

Richie is tiny, and it would be easy for any dress with a lot of detail to overwhelm her.  However, this is just the right amount of funky, fun, and very pretty to boot.  Nicely done.

The fabulous Dita Von Teese was a gala girl this past Saturday night.  She made an appearance at two Hollywood parties:  the Museum of Contemporary Art‘s “An Artist’s Life Manifesto” and the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center 40th Anniversary Gala and Auction.

DVT rocked a gothic/bondage styled black gown from Jean Paul Gaultier Couture circa Fall 2002.  Her look was reminiscent of Morticia Addams, and I really mean that in the best way possible.

Twi-hards rejoice! The super couple walked the red carpet together!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart strolled into the Los Angeles premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 at the Nokia Theatre with their arms around each other on Monday night.

RPattz and KStew were even color coordinated – Robert in a navy suit from Gucci and Kristen in a navy and black belted column gown with sky high slit from J Mendel.

The couple has tried very hard to keep as low a profile as possible but now that the films are winding down, they’ve been a bit more open about their off-screen relationship.

Kristen gave her most telling statement to date in the November issue of British GQ revealing “my boyfriend is English.” She continued “so much of my life is so easily googled. I mean, it’s like, come on guys, it’s so obvious!”

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 opens in theaters on Friday, November 18th.

Sofia Vergara was all shimmery and sparkly at the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas last week.   She walked the red carpet at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in a silver, strapless gown by Reem Acra.  (It really reminds me of the gorgeous dress Christina Hendricks wore to the Emmys this year.)   She accessorized with pieces from her own (incredibly affordable) collection for Kmart, Sofia by Sofia Vergara.    Overall a beautiful ensemble:  sexy, classy and elegant.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has a penchant for good looking guys and bandage dresses and the actress sported both at the AFI Fest 2011 Opening Night Gala premiere of J. Edgar at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood earlier this week.

The Ghost Whisperer actress stepped out in another bandage dress – this one with a zipper up the front and a cleavage baring neckline.

Any wish for her to change it up and try something different will go unfulfilled because the actress is vowing to wear more:

“Just had the most amazing luncheon with the wonderful creators and team of herve leger and bcbg!” she tweeted.”The new collections took my breath away! So beautiful! I will try to wear everything I saw.”

Hewitt, 32, brought along her latest man – actor Jarod Einsohn. Hewitt met the 27 year-old in August and the two began dating shortly thereafter.

He has had a role in the film Eagle Eye and was in CSI: NY and Medium episodes.

Selena Gomez hosted the MTV EMAs 2011 at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Ireland tonight and the singer showed off her perfect gams in a very mini skirt.

The 19 year-old singer changed throughout the show but for the red carpet she wore a lacy cream colored dress from Marchesa that was a little reminiscent of an ice skating costume – high collared neckline and super short skirt.

The see-through back contrasted with the long sleeves for a covered up but still skin-baring look. Gomez paired it with ivory heels and soft, sultry make-up.

Gomez’s boyfriend Justin Bieber was also in attendance.
