This movie looks like it could be funny, but the trailer really just gives away the entire thing. I feel like I’ve already watched it already.

Oh oh oh! Renee Zellweger chose an absolutely stunning dress for the 69th Annual American Ballet Spring Gala in New York. I love how such a simple dress can be made so very special by gathering the skirt with a rhinestone brooch. Hooray – glamorous is back! Brava, Renee!
(But I have to ask… why does that blonde woman behind her look like she just ate something bad?)

Renee Zellweger was seen leaving the Byron Tracey salon today looking fresh and happy. I am sure that that is everyone’s mission when leaving a salon is to feel better when they walk out then when they walk in.
Renee recently opened up to Glamour magazine and talked about why she won’t open up with the media about her personal life.
I won’t. Because it’s dumb. It leads to nowhere good. I let everybody else in the media do that for me. [Laughs.] It takes the responsibility off my shoulders!
I think sometimes that’s a great idea. The media likes to twist things around anyways.

Renee Zellweger looks cute and sassy on the cover of Glamour‘s June 2009 isssue. The interview ranges all over the place, from the economic downturn, to her current break from moviemaking, to what she’s looking for in a man. Here are some highlights:
On what she looks for in a partner:
I’m looking for an encyclopedia and a dictionary. A bit of the Boy Scouts Handbook. A person who is conscientious about the trail he leaves behind him. Love. Unconditional kindness. Basically, I’m looking for the qualities I revere in my friends.
On why she won’t talk about her personal life with the media:
I won’t. Because it’s dumb. It leads to nowhere good. I let everybody else in the media do that for me. [Laughs.] It takes the responsibility off my shoulders!
… and thus why she isn’t Twittering:
I can’t think of anything more horrible than sharing what I’m doing all day!
On her break from acting:
I’m working on getting bored…And it’s really hard! But I need to sit still long enough to see where my brain goes…I’m working on different projects, but I’m not going anywhere any time soon. I’m not putting on other people’s clothes or living out of my luggage. I’m actually going into the bathroom to use my bathroom stuff—rather than to the suitcase where I usually keep it. I’m learning how to use a chest of drawers! I am determined to sit still long enough to get past the existential crap of the moment.

I have never got the charm of Kenny Chesney, I like my country singers like Keith Urban, but Kenny has never sucked me in. He looks kinda weird to me! He is talking in the March 2009 issue of Playboy about how he’s had a great sex life sleeping with a lot of women to try to clear up the rumors that he is gay.
First, he explains how he can’t commit…and that he would rather blow his brains out…
I have friends who have a normal family, kids and a dog, and I think I would blow my brains out. Its fine for them. But Im such a free spirit, I feel more alive when Ive got somewhere to go. I can stay on my boat for a few weeks if I have a guitar and a girl and a Bob Marley CD. After that, Ive got to move around.
Then he goes on to say how he and Renee Zellweger got married in 2005.
I didnt have any clue as to what true marriage meant. I was so used to committing to one thing music and then I had to totally commit to a second thing, marriage, he said. I didnt know how to commit to both of them. It was a scary moment for me.
But the decision of citing fraud in the marriage is what he hangs onto…
I talked to my attorney and her attorney. In order for us to get an annulment, the legal papers could claim either physical abuse, which wasnt true, or three or four other things that also werent true, he said. The best thing we could put in there was fraud. So I said, All right, do it. Whatever.

James Franco has been named Man Of The Year and Renee Zellweger Woman Of The Year by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Club.
They wins the awards for making a “lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment.”
Zellweger will be feted on February 5th, beginning with her leading “a parade through the streets of Cambridge.” Franco will be celebrated at a roast on February 13th. Each will be given the traditional prize: a brass pudding pot.

Renee Zellweger was wearing something crazy at the 66th Golden Globe Awards last night at the Beverly Hills Hilton last night. She presented an award too but I’m not sure what it was because I was too busy looking at the train wreck she looked like. What exactly is she wearing? I’m so confused.
I think overall the Awards were okay last night, except for the uncomfortable feeling I got through the whole show. Did someone bring an elephant to the show and we didn’t know about it?

Renee Zellweger looked great at the Lifetime and Sony Pictures premiere of Living Proof held at the Paris Theater in NYC. Renee has been looking great at all the premieres she’s been at lately. What’s her secret?
Renee goes to the gym up to six days a week and logs between 3 to 5 miles on the elliptical trainer.
“The gym is my therapy. I’ve got to get stuff out. The perk of going and spending time by myself and getting my head straight and thinking through what might be bothering me is that I get fit. That’s not the goal, but it’s a nice by-product”
