Chris Brown seems to never know what to say when it comes to his relationship with singer, Rihanna. For once, I wish he would just say it straight.

“Our relationship is growing. We started off as friends and we’re getting a little bit closer now.”

He shot down claims that they are just friends with benefits, insisting that makes them sound “cheap.”

Hoping to avoid the rage on the Chris Brown message boards, Chris quickly added, “But I don’t want to let down all my girlfriends, so all the ladies out there, I still love y’all!”

I know for a fact that Chris’ fans are very loyal to him but really, Chris you need to live your own life. If someone loves you for you they should accept you with Rihanna too. Haters, please don’t hate on me!

Dlisted brought up a good point…well one of many great points!! Rihanna totally looks like the character Tom Hanks plays in The Polar Express…well except for the mustache. She was on the Today show this morning showing off this fancy look. You don’t even want to see the dress she is wearing. Honestly, the stylist should be shot for letting her go on national television looking like that!

Rihanna was tired of trying so hard to be beautiful by someone else’s standards. She wanted to be herself, which was the reason behind the birth of a new edgy and sexier Rihanna with really short dark hair.

“I felt like the whole world had long, curly, flowy blond hair. Ciara, Beyonce, Mariah, Christina Milian. Everybody wanted to be like everybody else. So I cut my hair and they (Def Jam) made me put my long hair back in as extensions. The second time, I didn’t have any discussions, nothing. I just cut it, I dyed it black, I went into the studio making my music my way. I found myself all at one. I like things strong, edgy, a little to the left. I don’t like things that are expected nothing clichéd.” - Rihanna said.

I love the shorter hair look on Rihanna! She got what she was looking for – to break free from all the pressure to be a certain way in the business, to be different, original and totally hot.

“We are very good friends.”

– Rihanna describing her relationship with Chris Brown.

Ed Lover of Power 105.1 in New York pressed the coy singer during a recent radio interview, directly asking her how she and Brown were doing.   Lover wasn’t satisfied with her tired “we’re just friends” line.  He challenged Rihanna, “Friends? But there are pictures of you kissy kiss.”

People reports that Rihanna “was at a loss for words” trying to not answer Lover’s direct questions.   Lover’s producer said that she was “fiddling with the cord and blushing” while he grilled her.

I’m glad someone finally held her feet to the fire.  She is so disingenuous about this whole thing that she’s practically lying.  So incredibly stupid!

Rihanna is Elle magazine`s June 2008 cover girl. Inside Rihanna finally talks about the rumor that has been haunting her about Jay Z. (WTF?? I thought she had debunk the rumors about Chris Brown!)

“Well, it’s crazy that you ask me that.  People know that it’s not true,” she says, straightening up.

“I think it’s kinda a cliche question, and people know it’s not true, so I don’t even know why it’s still addressed to this day.

I get asked about it all the time and I’m like, You’re asking, but you know the answer.  I don’t even like to address it anymore.”

I guess she`s a little touchy when it comes to that!

Fans are really defensive when it comes to Chris Brown and Rihanna being together.

Now Rihanna says that Chris and her are like brother and sister, which is kinda gross from the pictures I have seen of those two!! She says:

“I won’t say that we’re just friends - me and Chris are really best, best friends. We both started our careers around the same time. He is one of the only people in the industry … I trust and hang out with all the time.

“We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister. If he was a boyfriend, I would say that.”

Despite the pictures of Rihanna and Chris Brown “canoodling”, Chris says he is single.

Chris told MTV News UK in a brand new interview: “[From] a relationship standpoint I am a single guy, I am definitely single.”

When pressed by the music channel, however, Chris did allude to a special someone in his life: “I have a close friend but it’s not like a relationship, I’m not trying to settle down,” says the Kiss Kiss singer. “I’m only 18, so I’m just trying to live my life and have fun.”

So why is everyone getting so upset about it? Rihanna has said also that she is single.
