Daniel Radcliffe Says ‘Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part II’ Is “Relentless Action”

The end of the Harry Potter big screen era is approaching fast and EW gets the scoop on the final film in this week’s magazine.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is one of the flicks featured in the Summer Movie Preview and it certainly sounds like it will be one crazy roller coaster ride.

The new film is just a relentless action movie,” says Daniel Radcliffe. “It Just. Does. Not. Stop.”

The 21 year-old is taking on more diverse parts including the upcoming Woman in Black but says he does appreciate the fast-paced nature of this final film.

“I’ve become particularly aware on this film that I’m not always going to be able to play these action-hero-type parts,” he shared. “You really have to enjoy it, make the most of it, have fun with it.”

Get more in this issue of EW is on sale Friday, April 15th.

Check Out Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint In ‘Wild Target’ (Video)

What’s a guy to do after spending the last 10 years co-starring in the Harry Potter franchise?  If you’re Daniel Radcliffe, you head for Broadway.  If you’re Rupert Grint, however, evidently you go on to star in movies that go straight to video.  Ouch.   Rupert’s latest project, Wild Target, was just released this week on DVD.  Emily Blunt and Bill Nighy also star in the badly-panned film, in which Rup plays an apprentice to Nighy’s hit man character.  Is it really so bad a film?  Check out the clip after the jump and see what you think.   I’m thinking it’s got to at least be better than Rupert’s 2002 bomb, Thunderpants. Rupert Grint Is On The Prowl

While Harry Potter stars Emma Watson (Hermione) and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry) confess to feeling nostalgic over the movie series finally coming to an end, their compadre Rupert Grint (Ron) is glad he’s finally going to have the opportunity to live a somewhat normal life again.  Specifically, he’d like to find a girlfriend.  He says that while playing Ron it was

“quite difficult to sustain a relationship, because I was so busy. I went out with people, but never anything too serious. It wasn’t that easy. Now it’s something I’m really looking forward to.”

He should have no problem whatsoever finding plenty of willing ladies to date:  Rupert is reportedly worth £20 million – over $32 million US.

Harry Potter Stars: Then And Now

It’s all about Harry Potter this weekend with the record-breaking opening of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!  Seriously, I didn’t think these movies were getting any better, but evidently the movie-going public disagrees.

But remember way back in 2001 when the first movie was released?  Before J.K. Rowling had had the chance to write so many freakishly long books?  Back when the three stars, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson were still just kids, and no one could have known just how fantastically rich and popular they would become?  Do you remember what they looked like then?  Take a trip back down memory lane after the jump!
