Kate Hudson & Sarah Jessica Parker Will Guest Star In Season 4 Of ‘Glee’

More star power is headed Glee‘s way as two A-List actresses were announced for guest spots on the upcoming fourth season of the show.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson were announced at the FOX upfronts in NYC and the ladies will drop in on the McKinley High students and graduates next year as the show transitions some of it’s lead characters to post-high-school life.

Although he kept specific plot points under wraps, FOX President Kevin Reilly says Glee is “poised for a real creative renaissance. Several characters are graduating, we’re going to have a show within a show, following some characters to New York to a school for the arts.”

The current characters heading to NY will (hopefully) include Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer).

Whether Parker & Hudson’s guest spots will interact with the students in Ohio or New York is not known but how awesome would it be to have SJP (the quintessential NY gal) take Rachel Berry under her wing and give her some Sex and The City advice.

Parker will be around for multiple episodes (a specific number of shows was not revealed) and Hudson is on tap for a six-episode arc.

Glee will move to Thursdays at 9pm after The X Factor for the fall TV season.

Sarah Jessica Parker ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ Premiere

Sarah Jessica Parker took a stylish turn down the red carpet for the premiere of her new film I Don’t Know How She Does It, held at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City last night.

Parker picked a very pretty sleeveless black crochet maxi dress from Antonio Berardi. She left her hair casual – down and wavy – and wore no accessories except for her black pumps. It was a very low-key look for SJP.

The actress spoke to reporters about how her character is a working mother always on the run in heels and how that’s typical for so many mom juggling kids, husbands and careers.

“They made me run, then they took me to Boston for three days and they made me run there in cobblestones from the 1700′s. I was like ‘Ahhh’. But I got through it. Because, you know, working mothers are on the run, that’s what they do. They’re running, running, running, running, running. So it’s real.”

I Don’t Know How She Does It opens in theaters on Friday, September 16th.

Sarah Jessica Parker Wears Red In Moscow

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker is in Moscow, promoting her film I Don’t Know How She Does It.   She wore a red gown by Giambattista Valli Couture for an appearance and screening at the Ritz Carlton.

This is such a lovely dress, but it’s all wrong for SJP.  Maybe she needs to lose the cape; it just makes her look like she’s wearing a costume.  I would love to see someone else wear this, someone who could really pull it off.  Helen Mirren comes to mind.

More views after the jump.

Sarah Jessica Parker: ‘I Never Wanted To Be A Celebrity’

Sarah Jessica Parker says she’s always conscious of how the public views her.

The 46 year-old actress tells Marie Claire’s September issue that she never wanted fame and does not use her celebrity status to her advantage.

“I never wanted to be a celebrity; I never wanted to be famous,” Parker tells the magazine. “And in my daily life, I work really hard to not trade on it in any way. I am so desperately worried about anybody saying, ‘She cut in line’ or ‘She took our table’ or ‘She got out of jury duty’ or ‘She doesn’t do her own grocery shopping.’”

“The things that bother me are counter to who I am and the way I live,” she continues. “It’s not like it’s hard to be decent and respectful and well-behaved. I do wait in line, and I do take the subway, and I do do my own grocery shopping, and I do take the kids to school.”

It’s her desire to stay unaffected by celebrity trappings that keep her from publicly discussing her marriage to actor Matthew Broderick.

“We don’t talk about our marriage a lot, which is probably wise.” Parker said. “There are so many other things in our lives that take precedence over the splitting of the atom of our marriage.”

Sarah Jessica’s issue hits newsstands August 16th.

Sarah Jessica Parker And Her Family Grab The Vogue Spotlight

Sarah Jessica Parker lands the cover of Vogue for August and gets her whole family in on the act for an editorial inside.

Parker, 46, told the magazine that she and her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, are active parents.

“We don’t have any live-in help. We’re pretty hands-on parents,” Parker said. “That’s something that’s important to both of us, and we don’t shirk it, because what’s the point in having a family if you’re not going to really participate in it, you know?”

Her children James Wilkie, 8, and 2 year-old twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha, keep her sleep at a minimum but she says she’s just worried about keeping up.

“I guess I think there are things about it that I hope have made me a better mother,” she says. “I’ve had a lot of opportunities to do the things that I wanted to do, like sleep. I have slept till 11:00 for a lot of years.”

“Honestly, the only thing that I’m concerned about is the energy: I hope I can maintain the energy,” she adds. “I think about all the years I’ve spent parenting James Wilkie and everything I put into it, and there are two of them.”

A quintessential New York couple, SJP said that she and Matthew did think of leaving The Big Apple behind but the vibe of NYC is always a draw.

“I can’t imagine living in seclusion. We flirted with it. We went outside the city and troubled all these realtors and stood in these homes and fantasized, and then I kept picturing nine o’clock at night and…

The beautiful thing about New York is, you have to expose yourself to other people the minute you step outside the door,” Parker said. “There is no choice. And I love that.”

Forbes Says Angelina Jolie & Sarah Jessica Parker Tie As Highest Paid Actresses

Two busy moms with active (and profitable) movie careers, Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker have one other thing in common. Forbes magazine lists both actresses as tied for first place in the mag’s annual Highest Paid Actresses list.

Jolie, 36, and Parker, 46, are estimated to have raked in $30 million between May 2010 and May 2011 to earn the top position.

Jolie’s movie roles in Salt and The Tourist were her most notable works during that time as well as the Kung Fu Panda 2 opening and she filmed her directorial debut In The Land of Milk and Honey.

Parker gets her cash from a variety of sources, the Sex and The City movie sequel and the residuals and percentages from the TV show (she earns her paychecks as both actress and producer.) SJP’s also got earning power from very successful perfumes and a fashion deal with Halston.

Hot on the trail, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon who took in an estimated $28 million for the same time frame.

Rounding out the top 5 was Julia Roberts at $20 million for last year.

Interesting trend that all top 5 are actresses over 35 and only Jolie and Witherspoon are in their 30s.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s Boots Were Made For Walkin’

Sarah Jessica Parker was seen walking with her son, James Wilkie Broderick in Greenwich Village, NYC yesterday.  I am used to seeing Jess wearing her comfy Uggs.  It looks like she traded them in for some cowboy boots.

Did I miss something?  Are cowboy boots the new “Uggs”?

Sarah Jessica Parker Shines For Bambi (Photos)

Sarah Jessica Parker was at the Bambi 2010 awards at Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam, Germany.  How gorgeous does she look here?  The dress, shoes, hair, and makeup are stunning.

SJP is a fashion icon, thanks in great part to her role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.  But, man!  She just rocked the red carpet.  Well done girl!
