There are talks of a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie coming out. And Sara Michelle Geller is all about it. 

ShowbizSpy reports that Sarah Michelle Gellar is in talks to reprise her role as Buffy Summers in a film sequel to the hit series which wrapped up a successful seven season run back in 2003.

Insider reports say that the idea for the script has the story picking up with an older Buffy, who might even be a mother. While Gellar is currently busy with other projects, she is excited about the idea.

This is sure to excite all those rabid Buffy fans, personally it’s not all that exciting to me, but I’m not a fan of the Geller.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was seen hanging out with friends yesterday in Bel Air. It’s been along time before we have seen anything with her. But I looked on her IMBd profile and there is alot of movies for her coming out. Her newest supernatural thriller, Possession, is rumored to be hitting the theatres in February or March of 2009. It seems that the trend is going toward horrors and remakes for the year of 2009. I love it!

1.� Scarlett Johansson. With such a Nordic sounding last name, you wouldn’t immediately peg Scarlett as Jewish – but she is, on her mom’s side.� And do we really need to explain why we chose her?

2.� Maggie Gyllenhaal. Another misleading last name, but she’s also Jewish on her mom’s side.�� It’s no secret that I have a massive girl crush on Maggie.

3.� Sarah Michelle Gellar. She’ll always be the hottest vampire slayer!

4.� Sarah Silverman. Named one of People’s 100 Most Beautiful in 2008 – what more can we say?

5.� Rachel Weisz. She was pregnant all throughout the 2006 awards season, and she looked amazing.� Not many women can pull that off!

6.� Michelle Trachtenberg. Buffy alums seriously got it going on!

7.� Alyson Hannigan. Clearly Buffy rules this list!

8.� Evan Rachel Wood. Who is, by the way, looking much MUCH better since she split up with Marilyn Manson.

9.� Emmy Rossum. She has amazing poise and beauty for such a young woman.

10.� Natalie Portman. Her turn as Padme Amidala aside, she’s talented as well as gorgeous.

And some honorable (some slightly old-school) mentions:� Phoebe Cates, Winona Ryder, Carrie Fisher (in her Princess Leia days), Jennifer Connelly, Mila Kunis, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Jason Leigh.

With the huge success of Twilight, speculation is flying for the possibility of a new Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie.�

The rumor of Buffy�s resurgence was picked up by the guys over at�Moviehole�from theHerald Sun. Buried on page 51 of the paper was this little tidbit:�

�The monster success of girly vampire pic Twilight at the US Box office last weekend could kick open the door for a big-screen return of Joss Whedon�s much-loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Rumours are circulating in Hollywood that Whedon has a feature-film script based on his hit�TV seriesready to roll as soon as a studio is prepared to commit.��

Vampires are definitely back on the map, and Buffy definitely has a solid fan base that would see it, I say it’s only a matter of time before this one happens.�

Sarah Michelle Gellar usually looks okay, but at this even for Vaseline she…where do I even begin? First of all, her makeup makes her look like a racoon! Then her dress is very unflattering to her figure, and finally, those earrings! What are those, dead snails? She looked better in the Vaseline ad when she wasn’t wearing anything.
