Audiences seeing the prospect of actually watching Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz making out will flock to this new movie by Woody Allen called Vicky Cristina Barcelona. The trailer for the movie leaked out and all it shows is people kissing…well mostly Javier Bardem kissing every female in that movie. How lucky was he?

Unless you were under a rock yesterday you might not know that Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds got engaged.
But today we get to see the juicy details. THE RING! I am a girl and I love my rings and this ring is amazing. Way to go Ryan!! Scarlett showed off her new piece of ice at that Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala last night. And I notice she is glowing. But that might just be from all the glitter she is wearing!

The first single from Scarlett Johansson’s new Tom Waits cover album Anywhere I Lay My Head has been released. It’s called “Falling Down.”
Here are my thoughts on it:
The singing really isn’t as good as it could be, but maybe that’s the point? It’s not like Tom Waits was a good singer, he was just distinctive. The background vocals and music is really pretty in that haunting way, though. Basically, I was unimpressed at the beginning of the song but was won over by the end. I’ve listened to it a bajillion times because of that. In a world of Paris Hilton and Heidi Montag cringeworthy pop albums, I say kudos to Scarlett for having the balls to try something different!

But, if you want to hear how beautifully Scarlett can REALLY sing, I’d suggest checking out her version of “Summertime” done for a charity album called Unexpected Dreams–Songs from the Stars. You can listen to “Summertime” here.

This is a joke right? This is Scarlett Johansson’s album cover for album Anywhere I Lay My Head set to drop May 20th. But this is really really horrible. Come on people, this looks really bad! I hope her music isn’t nearly as bad as the cover.

Scarlett Johansson’s debut album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, will officially be released on Tuesday, May 20.
The album will be released via Rhino Entertainment’s Atco Records and will feature ten Tom Waits covers and one original track.
Scarlett, 23, spent five weeks last spring recording the album in Maurice, Louisiana. The actress-turned-singer has song collaborations on the album with Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zimmer, Celebration’s Sean Antanaitis and TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, who produced.
Listen to Scarlett sing the track “Summertime” for Unexpected Dreams, a 2006 charity album featuring movie stars.
Last April, Scarlett made a surprise appearance with the Jesus & Mary Chain at Coachella festival.

Scarlett Johansson first caught my eye in one of my favorite films, the 2001 screen adaptation of Ghost World. Since then, Scarlett has blossomed from indie punk princess to A-List Hollywood It girl. She is now one of the most sought-after and sexiest stars on the Red Carpet today, as well as an inspiration to intelligent, curvy girls everywhere!
Scarlett Johansson was born on 22 November 1984 in New York City to Melanie Johansson (of Polish descent) and Karsten Johansson (of Danish descent). Scarlett showed a passion for acting at a young age and starred in many plays. She has a sister named Vanessa Johansson, a brother named Adrian, and a twin brother named Hunter Johansson born three minutes after her.
She began her acting career in 1994 starring as “Laura Nelson” in North (1994). In 1998, the acclaimed film The Horse Whisperer (1998) brought Johansson critical praise and worldwide recognition. Following the film’s success, she starred in many other films including the critically acclaimed cult film Ghost World (2001) and then the hit Lost in Translation (2003) with Bill Murray in which she again stunned critics. Later on, she appeared in Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003).
In 2003, she was nominated for two Golden Globes, one for drama (Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003) and one for comedy (Lost in Translation (2003). She dropped out of Mission: Impossible III (2006) due to scheduling conflicts. Her next film role was in The Island (2005) alongside Ewan McGregor which earned weak reviews from U.S. critics.
After this, she appeared in Woody Allen’s Match Point (2005) and was nominated again for a Golden Globe.

The seven-bedroom house is 4,300 square feet, and includes almost an acre of property with a pool. The Spanish-style home has its original tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen, and is located in the Outpost Estates area of Hollywood.

The movie poster for ‘The Nanny Diaries‘ featuring the beautiful Scarlett Johansson has been released. This was the favorite book of me and many of my sorority sisters a couple of years back. We will see if Hollywood messes up another good book.
The film opens in a wide release on August 24th.

Actress Scarlett Johansson is the face of the new Louis Vuitton ad campaign for the second time in a row. The ads, which feature both ready-to-wear designs and leather items, will appear in magazines this August.
The fall campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Los Angeles in late March. According to WWD, Antoine Arnault, Vuitton’s communications director, said, “It’s probably one of the most beautiful campaigns Mert and Marcus have ever shot. It’s a very iconic campaign.”
