The 83rd Academy Awards will be doled out on this weekend and two more names have been added to the list of celebrities set to appear.

Scarlett Johansson and Russell Brand are presenting at Sunday’s ceremony and join a bevy of A-list celebs at the gala.

Brand teased on his twitter page:

“I am presenting an Oscar. I shall also choose the recipient. At last my work as Aldous Snow will be honoured, for best actor-ing.”

Others lined up for Sunday include Sandra Bullock, Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bridges, Reese Witherspoon, Marisa Tomei, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hanks, Annette Bening and Nicole Kidman.

Anne Hathaway and James Franco cohost the Oscars on Sunday February 27th at 8pm ET.

Scarlett Johansson ushers in another round of ads for Mango fashions.

This is the fourth set of ads Johansson and Mango have collaborated on and while the actress is beautiful and the clothing is terrific, in these photos she looks bored and indifferent.

The actress has a new bob haircut in the images shot at the modernist La Ricarda House in Barcelona, Spain by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti.

Scarlett Johansson seems to put her divorce from Ryan Reynolds far behind her in these new ads for luxury champagne brand Moet and Chandon. The actress is almost as fizzy as the bubbly in the photos shot by British photographer Tim Walker in Paris.

Moët & Chandon President & CEO Daniel Lalonde said:

“Moët & Chandon, the most loved champagne since 1743, is a universal symbol of joie de vivre and success. This new campaign highlights a return to the immutable elegance and glamour that are inherent to both Moët and Scarlett.”

Scarlett looks fabulous in all three of these ads (the others are inside.) She is sexy, flirty and vivacious in this campaign.

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place in Beverly Hills, California at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday January 16th. Actress Scarlett Johansson was on hand as a presenter for the evening.

Johansson wore Elie Saab’s beautiful (almost old-fashioned) romantic lacy peachy-pink gown with windswept hair and diamond encrusted hair pin. I like the dress and the hair – at least she took a risk.

Adding another celebrity couple to the ever-growing pile of busted relationships: Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are splitting. The very down low duo have been living apart for a while and have decided it’s time to call an end to their marriage.

“After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage.  We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it.  While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

The two were married in Reynolds native Canada in September of 2008.
Johansson and Reynolds are at least parting on good terms. No word on who/when divorce papers will be filed.

Is December 2010 cursed? The last two days have been terrible with the number of break ups:
Elizabeth Hurley and husband Arum Nayar.
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.
Anna Friel and David Thewlis.
Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter.

Another season, another fabulous MANGO campaign featuring Scarlett Johansson.  Here she is showing off the Spanish retailer’s Winter 2010 wares.  The clothes are great, but what I really love about these ads is the saturated jewel tones in the background.  Photographer Mario Sorrenti has outdone himself this time, I think.

Scarlett Johansson went for simple and understated at the MANGO Fashion Awards – 3rd Edition this week.  I am not crazy about this dress (presumably from MANGO, since she’s their girl) – it’s shapeless and kind of blah – but Scarlett could wear anything and make it look good.   It’s just so rare that she doesn’t look super that I can give her a pass this time.   Great necklace, though.

The MANGO Fashion Awards is a European fashion design competition that takes place every 18 months.   Scarlett was on hand to present this year’s winner, Israeli designer Lena Lumelsky, with her award.   Scarlett shared the stage with the legendary Jean Paul Gaultier, who received a lifetime achievement award.

Scarlett Johansson has another set of ads out for Dolce & Gabbana The Makeup.  There’s not a whole lot to say here except:  enjoy the view of ScarJo in a leather bustier and corset.  Well, OK, I guess I do also have to add that I wonder why they made her look all lavender like Johnny Depp in Alice In Wonderland.   Ah, who cares?  She looks fantastic, as always.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are going to be new parents very soon!  They are in the process of adopting a baby from either Ghana or Ethiopia.

Could Scarlett Johansson Be Any Hotter?

“Scarlett has always wanted to adopt from outside the U.S.  She feels now is finally the right time.”

Ryan’s older brother is adopted, Scarlett’s mom just adopted a baby girl, and Scarlett is already working with the agency to find their baby.
