Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries Tie The Knot

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were married today, August 20, in Montecito, California.

The entire Kardashian-Jenner family seemed to have a role in the wedding.

Kim was attended by her sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian as co-maids of honor.  Younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner served as bridesmaids along with Humphries’ sister Kaela.   Brother Robert Kardashian was a groomsman, and Kourtney’s son Mason Disick, just 20 months old, was the ring bearer.  Kim’s stepfather Bruce Jenner walked her down the aisle.

The couple’s 440 guests included many well-known Hollywood figures, including Mario Lopez, Demi Lovato, Eva Longoria, Ryan Seacrest, Melanie Brown, Avril Lavigne, Sugar Ray Leonard, Greta Van Sustren, Venus and Serena Williams, and  Dina, Ali and Lindsay Lohan.   Vera Wang, who made Kim’s wedding gown, also attended.

Wang actually made three dresses for Kim’s big day.   The wedding gown featured a full tulle skirt and Chantilly lace appliques.   For the reception, Kim wore two very different dresses:  a mermaid-style with more Chantilly lace, and a V-neck bias cut number with a circle skirt.   All three dresses were ivory.

The entire extravaganza will be revealed in a two-part E! special, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, in October.

Score! Serena Williams Steps Out In Short-Shorts

Tennis champ Serena Williams is not opposed to showing some skin, and this past week we saw plenty of it.  Serena displayed significant cleavage at the ESPY Awards, where she claimed the Best Female Tennis Player Award.  She was also spotted grabbing dinner at BOA Steakhouse in Los Angeles.  She rocked a pair of satin short-shorts, a white top, and a fitted, cropped leather jacket.  With a body like that, why wouldn’t you want to show it off?

Serena Williams At Range Rover Event (PHOTOS)

Serena Williams hit the NYC launch of the 2012 Range Rover Evoque at the Highline Stages and the tennis champ, who’s been recovering in Florida after her pulmonary embolism scare, looked healthy and radiant.

The 29 year-old athlete chose a draped dress with cap sleeves in a bright purple with gold ballet flats and belt to complete her look. Her hair was straight with bangs that grazed her eyes and she looked fabulous.

Williams, who is last year’s Wimbledon champ, could receive a substantial pay raise if she takes the top prize again this year.

The 2011 prize money for the Men and Women Singles Champions was just announced at $1.8 million. Last year, Williams and Rafael Nader took home $1.54 million for the tennis showdown.

Serena Williams Treated For A Pulmonary Embolism

Serena Williams spent Sunday in Los Angeles attending all the Oscar parties, including Elton John’s Viewing Party and the Vanity Fair Oscar shindig.

What the tennis champion didn’t know was that on Monday she would be in Cedars-Sinai Hospital undergoing treatment for a pumonary embolism; a blood clot in her lungs leading to an emergency visit. According to People magazine:

“Monday Serena Williams underwent emergency treatment at Cedars for a hematoma she suffered as a result of treatment for a more critical situation,” the rep says in an exclusive statement.

“Last week, Serena suffered from a pulmonary embolism [a blood clot in the lungs] which was discovered upon her return to L.A. She had been in New York for doctor appointments for the ongoing issues with her foot.”

The athlete is the defending champion from her 2010 wins at the Australian Open and Wimbeldon.

Serena Williams Loves Her “Big Boobs And Massive Butt”

On her recent weight loss: “I’ve been doing Pilates and yoga, trying to lean out my body so I won’t be bulky.”

On dieting… or not: “I don’t even know the D word.”

Serena Williams Strips For ESPN’s Body Issue

serena-williams-espn-body-issue

Tennis pro Serena Williams and Orlando Magic center Dwight “Superman” Howard are two of the athletes who get naked for a series of covers for ESPN The Magazine‘s Body Issue.

This issue has been called ESPN’s response to Sports Illustrated‘s swimsuit issue.  Evidently they think that naked pictures of real athletes is more … genuine?  sporting?  I’m not sure … than pictures of models in bikinis.   The other covers in the series feature NASCAR driver Carl Edwards, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, MMA fighter Gina Carano, and triathlete Sarah Reinertsen.

Get into the sexiness and humor of this issue (and see lots more hot bodies) with the behind the scenes video below!
