Seth Rogen Marries Girlfriend Lauren Miller

Seth Rogen and his girlfriend, Lauren Miller said “I Do” over the weekend.

The 50/50 actor and comedian got hitched at Kunde Estates in Sonoma, California in a Jewish ceremony overlooking the surrounding vineyards.

Among his famous pals attending his wedding: Jonah Hill, Judd Apatow and his wife, Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd.

“Every other line was joke and the crowd couldn’t contain their laughter,” a source told US Weekly.

Rogen and Miller have been together for 7 years and met while writing on Da Ali G Show.

When the actor appeared on the Conan O’Brien show in November, Rogen said he was so nervous before proposing to her.

“Literally, I felt like someone had given me like a truckload of heroin to hold onto,” he said. “I felt like the feds were going to kick in my door at any second.”

“I couldn’t have a conversation with my girlfriend. All I could think of was this ring. Like, “Don’t say ‘Lord of the Rings!” Don’t mention anything about a ring!”

Rogen said he’s not taking the conventional Hollywood route and did not ask for a prenup.

“Marriage can be expensive and if I lose millions then it’ll be the best millions I’ve spent,” he told Howard Stern.

Now that’s commitment.

WATCH: All-Star Beastie Boys ‘Make Some Noise’ Video

The Beastie Boys long-awaited Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 is finally going to see the light of day and the first single “Make Some Noise” is just the kind of fun we’ve been missing with their absence.

The video picks up right where their first breakout hit “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)” left off and substitutes Elijah Wood, Seth Rogen and Danny McBride for the trio of Ad Roc (Adam Horovitz) MCA (Adam Yauch) and Mike D. (Mike Diamond).

The video is loaded with stars: Steve Buscemi, Chloe Sevigny, Maya Rudolph, Will Ferrell, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, Orlando Bloom, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Jack Black and John C. Reilly, just to name a few.

And how great is Elijah Wood in this? Just mountains of Ad Roc-ness!

Seth Rogen Tries to Bring Comedy to Cancer With ’50/50′

Seth Rogen is set to star along side Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the upcoming drama/comedy 50/50.

The drama known in previous incarnations as I’m With Cancer and Live With It, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a young man coping with the illness and Seth Rogen as his best friend, has been retitled 50/50, and set for a September 30 release date according to The Wrap.

This one really does sound like a hard pill to swallow.  I think Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a very underrated actor, I think he’ll pull off this role quite well. I think of some of his scenes in 500 Days of Summer and I’m reminded of his ability to bring comedy into some sad subject matter. Seth Rogen seems less fit for the role, but I’m sure he’s capable. Being able to laugh in the face of adversity is so important, hopefully this movie will be a good reminder of that.

Cameron Diaz & Seth Rogen ‘The Green Hornet’ Photo Call

The Green Hornet stars Cameron Diaz and Seth Rogen posed for the cameras at the Albion Hotel in Berlin, Germany on December 3rd. Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Are Getting Married!

Seth Rogen knows how to make me laugh.  Well, I think he knows how to make anyone laugh.  But jokes were put aside when he popped the question on his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Miller.

The happy couple has been together since 2004 and Seth finally decided he is ready to take the plunge into marriage.

Congrats to the adorable couple!  Happy wedding planning!

‘Green Hornet’ and ‘Airbender’ Go 3D

Green Hornet Last Airbender

Both The Green Hornet and The Last Airbender are getting the 3D treatment for their upcoming releases.

On the same day Sony decided to convert the Seth Rogen action-comedy The Green Hornet to 3D, Paramount has decided to do the same thing with M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, except that they have no plans to move it off its July 2 release date.

According to Variety, Paramount has been working for over a year testing the 3D conversion process with Stereo D, who also worked on Avatar, and three months ago, they showed Shyamalan some converted footage and he agreed to convert the full movie to 3D.

I like 3D, but I can see a distinctive difference between movies made with 3D in mind and the ones where the 3D was added after the fact. I doubt I’ll be seeing either of these movies in 3D since neither of them were shot that way.

It looks so much like the old Green Hornet show it’s almost disappointing, but at least we get a look at the funky gun. This movie should be a lot of fun.

I really don’t know what to expect from this movie, I’m really hoping it’s good. Unfortunately I’m still not buying the whole Seth Rogen as a superhero thing.

‘Basterds’ Bad Guy Christoph Waltz to Play ‘Green Hornet’ Villain

christoph_waltz

Christoph Waltz, the bad guy from Inglourious Basterds has been cast as the villain in the upcoming film The Green Hornet.

The Austrian actor, who’s been fielding an avalanche of praise (including the best actor award at Cannes) for his role as a nefariously charming Nazi colonel in Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, has been cast as the heavy opposite Seth Rogen in Columbia’s latest feature about a masked crime fighter. Waltz joins Cameron Diaz and Asian pop star Jay Chou in the cast.

Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the screenplay, inspired by the radio series created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker in the 1930s. Michel Gondry is directing the potential franchise-starter for a December 2010 release.

His character in Inglourious Basterds was brilliant in my opinion, up there with some of the very best movie villains ever. I can’t wait to see what he pulls off in The Green Hornet.
