Sarah Jessica Parker walked her son, James to school and then swung by the Gourmet Garage to grab some quick groceries on her way back in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village.

We usually see SJP in the most fabulous outfits, on and off the screen.  Of course her Sex and the City wardrobe is to die for.  But when I see Jess in comfy jeans, with her hair pulled up…. I love her even more.  She gorgeous and can pull anything off.  She just proved it once again.

This is only a thought really.  But it could turn into something real quick!  Ryan Seacrest Tweeted the Miley Cyrus was just in his studio and said that she’d be down to play Carrie Bradshaw in the next Sex and the City movie, which would be a prequel.  But, she hasn’t been asked..yet.

Miley make a quick cameo appearance in SATC2 when she wore the same dress as Samantha Jones.  Very funny moment.  Loved it.  I can actually see Miley pulling off the young Carrie really well.  I hope they actually let her audition for the spot.

Sex and the City’s Kristin Davis has adopted a baby girl.  Not what you think though!  Kristin discovered a baby elephant in Kenya and decided to adopt it!

“I adopted a baby elephant I found abandoned in Kenya. She lives at Kenya’s Sheldrick orphanage now.”

How sweet is that?  Poor little elephant lost her mama and now her new mom is an amazing actress with a huge heart.  Love it.

Ahhh!! I am so excited!  Sex and the City 2 will arrive in the theaters in two days!  The world premiere got things started last night at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Sex and the City 2 is getting ready to hit theaters and I can hardly wait!  So just how much was spent on the amazing wardrobe worn but our NYC ladies?  Stylist, Phillip Bloch says the budget was right around $10 million.  Hello, that’s just for the wardrobe, not the actual movie!

“Some of these pieces cost more than an SUV,” he says. “But they get better mileage!”

Kristin Davis spilled the beans that they get to keep their wardrobes!

“We’re really careful though, because they’re often one-of-a-kind samples from the runways,” she says. “So we don’t eat in them!”

Talk about a perk on the job!  Sarah Jessica Parker has 41 costume changes in the movie, so I guess she just reloaded her personal closet with some high ended fashion!  No wonder she always looks fabulous!

Kristin Davis is on the cover of Red (UK) for June 2010.  I am not sure I understand what Kristin is doing here in the photo… exercising?  Auditioning for a circus?   ?????   However, she has lots of good stuff to say about Sex And The City and how it helped her hit the big time.  Check it out:

On Hollywood pressure to be ultra-skinny: ‘You get a lot of criticism out in the world or on the internet about how you look. Fat here, fat there. Hippy this, hippy that. That has been my entire career. But never at work. No one at Sex And the City has ever asked any of us four girls to lose weight. Thank God.’

On being an “older” actress – and loving it: Remember when we were young, the actresses that we liked? They were young, even though they seemed older to us. And you thought that you had to make it in your 20s, like if you weren’t going to make it on your 20s, you weren’t going to make it. So the fact I would be turning 45 and be the busiest, most successful I’ve ever been is very, very odd. And it is all because of Sex and the City, really.’

I think I would have done okay without it, but I don’t think any of us would have had this kind of career at this age if it hadn’t been for the larger thing Sex and the City turned out to be, culturally. I do feel incredibly lucky.’

I sure hope so. The latest poster for Sex and the City 2 (above) gets my blood pumping for May 27th. I have been a die hard fan of Sex and the City from the beginning and therefore I don’t want there to be an end, ever.

The girl who started it all, Candace Bushnell, the author of the books dished a bit to MTV on the future of the movie series and the possibility of another movie:

“Every single one of my books has been optioned and one of my books has been optioned twice,” she said. “Sometimes all of the elements come together, and sometimes they just don’t. One piece is off or one part of it doesn’t work. There isn’t that much that you can do about it. With each book, I just try to write the best book that I can.”

“It’s amazing. I’m always in a way flattered by it,” she said. “Everybody who works or has worked on ‘Sex and the City’ came with the same attitude that they wanted to make something great, and that’s an attitude that they still have. I know that Michael Patrick King and Sarah Jessica Parker approach every movie with wanting to do the best they can and hope that the audience enjoys it.”

Oh we enjoy it!  We always enjoy it!  So what’s next for Candace?

“I have to write ‘The Carrie Diaries 2′ as soon as I finish this interview!” she said. “[The sequel is] her first summer in New York. It’s going to be fun. I don’t want to say too much about it because I’ve written a chapter, and now I’m all excited about it.”

So am I girl!! Keep them coming!!!

I can’t say I’m fond of this cover, very washed out looking. All the photoshopping done and they couldn’t brighten the colors a bit?

Love letters play a big role for Sex and the City‘s Mr. Big.  Was art imitating life?  Chris Noth told Redbook that love letters were a big part of his youthful romantic life:

“I always think it’s the little things that count … There are a million romantic little things I do.  Love letters were a big part of my romantic life when I was younger. I feel sad that we’re living in a culture that doesn’t write letters anymore – it’s a lost art. It’s something that adds dimension to the romantic life. Emails and texts just don’t cut it.”
