It’s official!  Miley Cyrus has landed on set!  Miley will definitely be getting some screen time in on Sex and the City 2!  I am so excited for this movie.  I love the entire cast and Miley Cyrus as a new edition  just makes it that much better!

Life & Style Weekly got their hands on the shooting schedule for the Sex and the City sequel currently filming in Manhattan.  So what does that mean?  BIG spoilers for the movie!  So, if you don’t want in on it.  QUIT READING NOW.

I am very excited to share these inside secrets with you:

A GAY WEDDING!

The shooting schedule calls for an elaborate wedding scene to take place at a Connecticut inn. In attendance? Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, Miranda, Stanford Blatch — and Stanford’s mother and father! All signs point to a gay union between Stanford and Anthony Marentino, who’s required to wear a black tuxedo in the scene. Slated as the entertainment: Liza Minnelli! “The scene is hilarious,” says an on-set insider.

CARRIE GOES HOME

Carrie finally married Big at the end of the first movie, but they may be having issues in the sequel. The evidence: Several scenes are being shot at the location that serves as Carrie’s old apartment from her single-gal days. One report says she and Big will have problems rooted in money trouble.

MILEY CYRUS MAY HAVE A SUPPORTING ROLE

The teen pop star has gushed about being a SATC fan — and now it looks like she may get the chance to guest-star. One day of shooting has been carved out for her, according to the schedule. “They’ve asked her,” says an insider. “But she hasn’t confirmed. Right now, they’re just holding the space for her.”

Of course Miley will accept!  She would be nuts not to!  This would be a huge honor for her and a boost in her movie career.  I know she wants to move away from Hannah Montana, so this is definitely the way to go….  It reminds me of Jennifer Hudson appearing in the first Sex and the CIty movie.  She was fabulous!

Ahhhh!  This set of snaps gets me so excited for the Sex and the City sequel!  The ladies have been working on the set for a week now and these are the first pictures we’ve gotten of the four of them together!  Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis, and Cynthia Nixon look so fabulous!  I love these girls and I think this sequel is going to be one of the best ever!  Some sequels should never be done, this one on the other hand MUST be done.

Cynthia Nixon joined Sarah Jessica Parker on the Sex And The City 2 set today (September 4th) in Manhattan.  The dynamic duo filmed scenes with Cynthia’s “son”, played by Joseph Pupo.  He is such a doll!  And look and that perfect, red hair!
I am so loving SJP’s outfit here.  The trucker flannel gone sexy looks hot on her!  Oh wait, everything looks hot on Sarah Jessica Parker!  I am thinking Cynthia is looking really glam in these shots as well.  Aw, I love my girls….

Yay!  I am so happy!  The Sex and the City sequel filming began today in New York City and I couldn’t be more thrilled.  Our leading lady, Sarah Jessica Parker was the first one on set and got straight to work there in Manhattan.  SJP looked stunning as she always does, wearing a white dress, sexy sky high gold Christian Louboutin heels and a Chanel clutch.  Perfect.

Sex and the City 2 is going to hit theaters on May 28, 2010.  Let the countdown begin!!

I am so excited for the Sex in the City Sequel!  I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Victoria Beckham will be appearing in the movie!  She is perfect for it!  Vic definitely has the look, total fashion sense, and of course the tiny body that looks amazing in everything.

The former Spice Girls star turned down a walk-on role in the first film - because she was too busy rehearsing for the Spice Girls’ reunion tour in 2007.
But this time around the fashion fanatic is hoping to score a part alongside Sarah Jessica Parker.
A source tells Britain’s Mail on Sunday, “She really wanted to be in the last movie but wasn’t able to take part because of her commitments with the Spice Girls. This time she’s keen to take part.”

I just hope that she doesn’t go on an even more insane diet for the film!  I’m afraid she’d wither away!!

Poor Kristen Davis.  Our sweet, Charlotte York from Sex in the City has issues with hairspray.  That is a bad thing when you work in showbiz!  There is a lot of hairspray flying about!

“The other hair people don’t tell you when they’re about to spray. Every exposed part of my skin to the end of my dress had a rash! So I had to say, ‘Please warn me so that I can step out of the cloud, because I can’t get a hold of it!’ ”

You have seen him on Dancing With the Stars…but, do you remember Gilles Marini from the first Sex in the City movie?  He is the hunk who lived next door to Samantha and was always having sex with big breasted women…LOL.  Remember the outdoor shower scene?  Ok, now I am blushing. Anyhow, Gilles is a busy guy.  He is going to be on the super hit show, Brothers & Sisters.  He is really excited for this new experience…

“We just sealed the deal,” he confirms to Us. “I got a call that producers wanted to write a part for me. I’m thrilled it worked out and that I get to prove myself. The writers and I had a long conversation, and they wanted to know who I am, inside and out.”

“Not stressed or anything — just so happy!” Marini enthuses to Us. “After doing Nip/Tuck [last year], I’m more oiled and know what’s going to happen. I haven’t met Rachel yet, but I know it’s going to be a great [partnership].”

So now we are wondering if this is going to leave time for him to show up in the Sex in the City movie sequel?

“From your mouth to God’s ears! I was so honored to be in the first one, and the movie changed my life,” Marini says. “Hopefully I get a phone call real soon! Michael Patrick [King] wrote [the sequel], so I know it’s going to be great.”

I really hope Gilles gets the call really soon!  They are getting ready to film in a couple months.  Right after Sarah Jessica Parker gets her baby girls home!

After watching the first Sex In The City movie, I was really bummed that Samantha (Kim Catrall) and Smith (Jason Lewis) broke up.  I loved their relationship and was hoping it would last.  But, it didn’t seem to be in the plans for the guys upstairs.  So, will that be the end of Jason Lewis on Sex In The City? Well, Jason had a few things to say at the 2009 GLAAD Media Awards:

On returning in the SATC movie sequel:
“[There's] a good chance, yeah.”

On keeping in touch with the SATC ladies:
“I see them out every now and then. We never really got on the phone with each other every day.”

How much did we all love Sex In The City?  I still do!  I could watch every episode repeatedly (and do!).  The movie was beyond awesome, I just watched again the other night.  It has me very pumped to the Sex In The City sequel.  It’s going to be SO good!  I’m not the only one excited, Kristen Davis can’t wait….

“I know the ideas, but, you know. I can’t tell you the ideas,” she teases Us. “But I know the ideas overall, and it’s very, very exciting. And any time we get to work together, we’re so lucky and so happy.”

“We’re so spread out right now — it’s mostly e-mail. We’re very excited,” she told Us at the First Ladies of Africa Health Summit in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. “Sarah’s working on another movie right now, Cynthia is still doing her play — we’re all kind of spread out. But we’ll be back together soon.”

“I had a child last time, so now I’ll have two, and we’lll have to see what that’s like for her,” Kristin Davis tells Usmagazine.com. “You never know!”

Yay, yay, yay!!  I can’t wait.  Until then, let’s just keep watching the originals season and the first Sex in the City movie……we can dream about the next plot……
