“Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker is tired of having paparazzi following her everywhere. As paparazzi became neighbors, she also fears for her family’s security:

Parker says, “Photographers moved into apartments next door to us and we really found ourselves kind of living like a spy movie… I feel like they think they have to be there. Like they punch in or something.”

SJP might as well enjoy all her fame and fortune now, because when the “Sex and the City” fever is gone I don’t know what she is going to do… maybe a sequel… and another sequel…

By anyone’s standards, with the possible exception of Bill Gates, Sarah Jessica Parker is very rich. In 2005 she was estimated to be making $38M - and that was before the Sex and the City movie, for which she’s being paid $10M. Conde Nast estimates her current market value in promotional deals to be around $25M.

Husband Matthew Broderick is no slouch either. He made $3.5M for starring in The Producers on Broadway… and since I just saw Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on TV the other day, I’m pretty sure dude could probably live pretty easily on his residuals alone.

All that money! So why is SJP proudly telling Parade how her 5 year old son James doesn’t get new clothes?

“He only wears hand-me-downs because I’ve got all these older nephews. That’s the God’s honest truth. Plus, my mother saved all my brothers’ clothes. I am not kidding. I don’t think I’ve ever bought him any clothes. Maybe a new winter coat. I do buy him shoes, because everybody’s feet are different.”

I am generally impressed with frugal, don’t get me wrong. But she’s killing me! I am so glad that she decides that her child’s feet merit new shoes - maybe some day she’ll even think to get him some brand new socks and undies too!!

The stars of the Sex and the City movie are gearing up into full promotion mode already!  The whole gang - Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Chris Noth - will appear on Oprah this Thursday, May 1.

In their taped interview, SJP tells Oprah:

“I am excited — excited is like a flip-flop to a high heel. Like it doesn’t even describe [it].”

A flip flop to a high heel!  Was she in character when she gave that interview?  LOL!

SATC star Cynthia Nixon and her partner education activist Christine Marinoni are rumored to be planning their wedding,

“…a quiet autumn ceremony in Vermont under the red leaves.  It’s supposed to be a very low key gathering just for close friends and family.”

According to All Celebrity Gossip: , Nixon’s cancer diagnosis and treatment “prompted…Nixon’s desire to cement her union to Marinoni with an official declaration of the couple’s commitment to one another.”

The two have been dating since 2004, and they are raising Nixon’s two children together in New York.  In 2006, Nixon spoke to New York Magazine about their relationship:

“I never felt like there was an unconscious part of me around that woke up or that came out of the closet; there wasn’t a struggle, there wasn’t an attempt to suppress. I met this woman, I fell in love with her, and I’m a public figure.”

Bloggers have been so mean to these two, especially Christine because she’s so butch, but I think they’re the cutest couple.   You can really tell how in love they are!  Nixon recently told OK!:

“I’m in a fantastic relationship.  We shop and cook and raise children…We both pitch in.”

Whatever makes them happy as far as I’m concerned.  Congrats!

Foxy Sex and the City actress, Kim Cattrall is afraid of plastic surgery, more specifically the consequences that can come out of it.

In Hollywood celebrities do anything to look young and some plastic disasters are bound to happen. For example, the expressionless face of Nicole Kidman, Tara Reid’s stomach, Victoria Beckham’s breast implants and faces like Michael Jackson and Jocelyn Wildenstein.

So Kim is determined to stay away from plastic surgery and not give someone the power to screw up her face and body. It’s all about ageing gracefully for Kim and being a 51 year old woman I say she’s doing it well.

TMZ is reporting that the photos of what may or may not be Kristin Davis engaging in sexual activity are, in fact, her. They claim these photos were taken in 1992, 16 years ago!

So those Kristin Davis photos making the rounds … We’ve now been in touch with someone involved in the whole deal, and here’s what we know.

The photos, we’re told, were snapped in 1992 by an ex-boyfriend. That’s right, they are just photos — no sex tape, fellas! According to reports, 20 photos are making the rounds, but actually it’s not quite 20.

We’re told the ex-boyfriend was pissed at Kristin and then sold the photos to a third party. Classy, huh?

The third party got involved in a business venture with another guy and we’re told that guy pilfered the pics and they ended up online.

As much as we didn’t want to believe Charlotte York would do something like this, it’s not looking good. So, who’s going to see the Sex and the City movie now because of this?

Actress Kim Cattrall, the lone hold out to making the Sex and The City movie, is channeling a little Samantha Jones and being completely upfront about doing the movie for the money.

She says, “It’s nice to step into Samantha’s skin again, but I’m only doing the film for the money. Samantha is very dear to me and I have such a wonderful time playing her, but I can’t say more for the experience than wanting financial security. We did it, and we did it well. But it was always about the money. When I made a stand about not being in the movie because I thought the money was terrible, there was a backlash of very negative things from some of my co-stars. The role is very much a double-edged sword.”

Sarah Jessica Parker, I think that dig was aimed at you.

Getting a crush when you are a teenager is nothing new and House MD star Robert Sean Leonard has confessed to being infatuated with Sex and The City star Cynthia Nixon. The two were just starting out in NYC and worked on a play together.

He says, “She was playing my sister and I was so in love with her I couldn’t stand it. She had long blonde hair and was the coolest girl I’d ever seen. I don’t think she ever noticed that I was there.”

He says the two kept in touch and became great friends. Nixon is currently involved with Christine Marinoni, an education advocate, and Leonard is in a long term relationship with former equestrian, Gabriella Slack.

A couple of images from SplashOnline of Sarah Jessica Parker as her alter ego, Carrie Bradshaw, and one of costar Cynthia Nixon, in the movie version of Sex and The City. I really like the argyle legging/tights - not that I’d wear it, but I like the look. I also like her new brunette locks. The other 80’s inspired long t-shirt dress is really tired looking. Patricia Fields better come up with something better than this. She’s losing her edge if this is all she’s got.

Ladies, please! On set of the movie version of the hit HBO Show, Sex and The City, two of the principal stars, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, are still at odds with each other, after all this time. Cattrall has had a bitter taste in her mouth since 2004 when Parker was reported as making a substantial amount of money more than her co-star.

Kim and SJP reportedly fell out over pay inequity during the show’s final 2004 season. It seems that as producer and star, SJP raked in considerably more than Kim on the HBO hit series. Allegedly, that’s also the reason Kim took so long to agree to appease hardcore “Sex” fans and sign on to the film.

It will be interesting to see what they come up with for the plot of this movie. I watched off and on for Patricia Field’s styling of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie. That was much more entertaining than anything else going on.
