We already knew Sharon Osbourne had little control over her sharp tongue, but I think she’s taken it a little too far this time.  She’s gone after Susan Boyle!  She made these comments on The Opie & Anthony Show:

“You just want to say, ‘God bless — and here’s a Gillette razor.’ [God] gave her the talent, but he hit her with a [bleep]ing ugly stick. I like everybody to do well, even somebody that looks like a slapped [bleep]. God bless her. She does look like a hairy [bleep]hole.”

Damn!  What did Susan Boyle do to her?  I thought Susan looked incredible in her Harper’s makeover photo shoot.  I think it’s great that she doesn’t give in to the pressure to look that way every day, though.

Now Susan’s fans are calling for Sharon’s removal from America’s Got Talent.  Are her comments enough to get her fired?  Drop a comment and tell us!

Sharon Osbourne spoke with Reuters recently about her famous family and their new TV show, Osbournes Reloaded. When the interviewer asked about the Osbournes’ addiction problems and whether they “would prove controversial” on the new show, she got a little bit defensive.

Sharon said it was “most ridiculous question I have ever been asked in my entire career.”

“I am really angry. Do you know how many people in this country alone suffer from addiction?

“All my family are examples of being truthful about their condition and working though it and trying to better themselves,” she said.

“We are a real family and we don’t pretend to be something we are not. I have taken real offense…probably half the people watching our show have someone in their family who has a problem with alcohol and drugs.  We live in the real world, and this world is tough.”

She specifically defended her son Jack, who has six years’ sobriety under his belt, saying  “she viewed him as a ‘beacon of hope to every young person in this country who is struggling with addiction.’”

I have to agree with her.  How many of us don’t have someone with an addiction problem in our families?  The difference, though, is that my drunk Uncle Marty is just not NEARLY as interesting as one of they Osbournes.

Back in December, Sharon Osbourne attacked Charm School student Megan Hauserman during filming of a reunion special. Now, poor Megan is suing Sharon for the incident.

Megan Hauserman’s suit filed Monday in Los Angeles claims battery, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She seeks a jury trial and punitive damages.

The December incident can be seen on VH1’s Web site billed as “Sharon and Megan’s big fight.” In the video, the women exchange insults, Osbourne pours a drink on Hauserman and then the two are surrounded by a rush of people.

The suit claims Osbourne hit Hauserman, pulled her hair and scratched her. Hauserman’s attorney Warren J. Binder said in an interview: “It’s pretty hard to deny what happened on the video.”

Ruh roh, Sharon. Looks like your bad manners might be getting you in deep trouble.

The girl who used to calm down crazy talk show guests involved in major drama will now be putting those old skills back into practice. It has been announced that Ricki Lake will be taking over as host of VH1’s Charm School after the departure of not-so-charming or mannerly Sharon Osbourne (who was accused of pulling a contestant’s hair).

According to VH1, this third installment of the show will focus on taking the girls from Rock of Love and Real Chance of Love, and helping them to improve through selfless acts. That�s right! The girls are doing charity work!

Not that this gives the show any kind of credibility, but in a world where everyone is so worried about ourselves, it’s nice to see a show teaching people to help others.

VH1�s VP of programming couldn�t be happier about the changes occurring, saying, �We are thrilled to have Ricki spearheading this new take on Charm School. Our audience knows her, loves her and respects her. And Ricki certainly knows a thing or two about taking big, loud characters and bringing them to a place of new emotional understanding.The transformation of the women on the show is always an interesting journey to watch, and the new twist on this season should bring the entire experience to a whole new level.�

I might actually tune in… for one episode.

Sharon Osbourne talked with Parade Magazine recently about life as a reality TV star and particularly her newest show, America’s Got Talent.��� Sharon made the distinction between what she called superstars, celebrities and “people who I call ‘infamous.’”� When asked whom she would put in the latter category, she said:

Paris Hilton, who I know. She’s got a look that a lot of younger girls liked and copied but she has no talent. I’m sure Paris would tell you that herself. The timing was right for her. A lot of younger women looked up to her. She’s a very sweet, nice girl. But that’s it. Then you put a full stop. It’s over. So I’d say Paris is infamous.

Oh come on, Sharon!� Give the girl a bit more credit than that.� I’m sure Paris Hilton has some talent… it’s just not the kind of talent you share with polite company.

David Arden, older brother of Sharon Osbourne, says he fears Sharon will kill husband Ozzy Osbourne with the excessive amount of touring she’s lining up for the 58 year old rocker.

He exclusively told The Sun: �I have known Ozzy since 1970. He is going to do 40 shows on the bounce, starting in mid-October and he�s talking about a Black Sabbath tour after that.

�I think he�s worn out. When the cameras are off he just sits there quietly.

Although they were once close, with David producing Sharon’s US talk show, Sharon, 54, and brother David, 56, had a falling out this summer over the care and then the burial of their 81 year old father who died of Alzheimer’s Disease.�Osbourne is writing a second auto-biography and Arden is taking her to task for her version of their childhood.

�She said she could remember bailiffs coming round every week and taking the furniture out and then having it brought back. Absolute codswallop.”

Arden goes on to list many things he says Sharon has misrepresented and the feud with her mother that kept the grandkids away to her dying day.

I love the word codswallop. Brilliant!

British comedian Steve Coogan was called out by Courtney Love as influential in Owen Wilson’s downward spiral. The comedian responded by threatening legal action and a representative denies the actors ever did drugs together.

Love, who had an affair with the British comedian after he moved to the US three years ago, spoke out days after Wilson’s August 26 suicide attempt, saying: “Under normal circumstances I would not comment but I care too much about Owen. ”

“I went through it with Steve. I was just out of rehab and he was right there with the drugs. ”

“I tried to warn Owen. I tried to warn his friends. I hope from the bottom of my heart that Owen stays the hell away from that guy.”

This is interesting. Courtney denied Sharon Osbourne’s accusations that she introduced Jack Osbourne to OxyContin, yet has no problem publicly blaming Coogan for helping Owen down his path of self-destruction. Coogan was�photographed coming out of Wilson’s house yesterday so the two are still in touch.

Waisting away is hardly new in Hollywood and yet to see Courtney Love become that thin is pretty shocking. In London for a film premiere, Courtney looked hollow, sad and gaunt.

The former Hole frontwoman was all skin and bone as she arrived for a movie screening at the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill to benefit the British Film Institute.

With her backless halter neck dress revealing a protruding ribcage, the gaunt star looked a shadow of her once buxom former self.

At the launch party of Stella McCartney’s new line for Adidas, the war of words continued between Love and Sharon Osbourne, who accused Court of introducing her son Jack, then 15, to OxyContin pain killers. Love claims it was the other way around and responded to Sharon’s criticism.

But the 43-year-old widow of Kurt Cobain hit back, saying: “I never did that. I would never give drugs to a teenager. F*** you Sharon - as if I would ever give drugs to a teenager.”

She’s 43? Hard to believe she’s made it that long. Courtney Love is a favorite of mine and I hope she is healthy. It doesn’t appear so.
