Sometimes in life we really get too busy to take care of ourselves, and things start sliding. Sheryl Crow is saying that being diagnosed with Cancer helped her to realize that she needed to take care of herself more. Sheryl was diagnosed with the disease in February 2006 but known has been given the all clear after a lumpectomy and radiation treatment.

“Breast cancer helped me put myself first in life. Once I stepped out of radiation, I had to remember that the only person who could take care of me was me. I’d better do that before I take care of everybody else, instead of everybody else first. I feel more connected to my life now that I’ve had - and beat - breast cancer.”

I am just learning this now. You would be no good to anyone if you didn’t be ’selfish’ once in a while.

Sheryl Crow promoted her budget friendly jeans at the Las Vegas launch of Bootheel Trading Co. on Tuesday. She looked amazing as she promoted her jeans that are for sale for $100 or less. I know that most celebrities put out clothing lines that are expensive and Sheryl is doing the exact opposite (and Heidi Montag doesn’t count!!). Thank goodness someone thinks about the people who don’t have the money to dole out $500 for jeans. And as a mom, I wouldn’t spend that kind of money when my jeans get ketchup and things spilt on them. Way to go, Sheryl.

Singer Sheryl Crow was boasting about joining Fleetwood Mac for their summer 2009 concert tour, but apparently not everyone in the mega supergroup is on board with her as the final replacement for Christine McVie who retired from the band years ago.

He [Lindsey Buckingham] tells Billboard.com, “I don’t think anything is written in stone yet. I think we were all a little surprised she was announcing that to the world with such certainty. We have talked about the possibility of bringing another woman into the scene to kind of give Stevie (Nicks) a sort of foil and shake it up a little bit (and) she was certainly a name that has come up. We’ll have to see.”

It certainly would be a great show with Nicks, Crow and Buckingham all in the line up. Buckingham is also confirming that new music is being written for the new album next year.

Singer Sheryl Crow is happy being a first time, single mom and may want to repeat the experience.

“My new man is Wyatt,” she said. “He’s five months and he has six teeth.”

Of course, Sheryl is talking about her newly adopted baby boy. She gushed about her son at the annual Salute to Women in Sports Awards, and she revealed she might adopt again.

“I would, but right now my concentration is on him,” she said.

That isn’t nearly as interesting as her past relationship with Owen Wilson.
