Simon Cowell got to see something new on his X-Factor show when a 50 year old contestant, Steve nervously took the stage and sang his heart out while the crowd and judges laughed at his bulging pants. Yes, the guy had an erection while singing on stage.
How does that happen? Isn’t your ’stuff’ supposed to run away when you’re nervous or scared? Too funny.

American Idol’s Simon Cowell won’t be turning the big 5-0 until October 7th, but that didn’t stop one of his ex-girlfriends, Jackie St Claire from throwing him a huge surprise party in Holland Park, London.
There was quite a guest list to surprise our favorite Idol judge including 17 of his ex-girlfriends! Haha! I think that’s hilarious. What was Jackie thinking? Was she trying to give Simon a look back at all the women he’s gone through and still not settled down? Love it! I am sure he did too.
Piers Morgan, Dani Behr, Caprice Bourret, Stavros Flatley and his son, Myleene Klass, Amanda Holden, and Louis Walsh were among the party-goers. I’m sure this was one night for Simon to remember…..

Simon Cowell has always intrigued me. He looks like he is arrogant on the outside but we all know that he is just a huge teddy bear inside. Guys like that make me want to know more about them. Simon says though in the midst of all his success he finds it hard to be happy.
“If I went to a psychiatrist, it would be a long session. I’ve always thought that I do have a number of issues that probably need dealing with, because I am quite odd in some ways. I get very dark moods for no reason. Nothing in particular brings it on. You can be having the best time of your life and yet you’re utterly and totally miserable. I get very anti-social, depressed and irritable with people. I don’t have time for them. I can’t make phone calls and stuff. I just sit on my own for days. I’m not sitting in a darkened room rocking.
“My loneliness is self-imposed. I can go through a few weeks where every single text or phone call starts with the word ‘why’ - ‘Why haven’t you called me?’ ‘Why aren’t you speaking to me?’. It’s because I just want to be on my own for a while. Things might have gone really well and then I torture myself. I cannot believe it. I have to find something to make me miserable.”
I guess that proves the theory that all the money in the world can’t make you happy sometimes. I’m sure Simon there would be lots of girls that could help console you and make you feel better.

Kris Allen may have won American Idol by a large margin of votes, but Simon Cowell still thinks America made a mistake. He spoke to Ryan Seacrest about his true feelings regarding the result of this year’s show and where he thinks Kris Allen fits in with past winners. Here are the highlights:
“[Kris] is probably the right winner in terms of being a nice guy”… “[But] was he the best singer in the competition? No.”
“You know what my feeling on the show is,” Cowell added. “I mean he’s popular. If you allow America to vote, you live with the vote. I wouldn’t have said he was the best singer in the competition, no. He was like a little puppy dog.”
“Listen, congratulations Kris. Anyone that gets the public vote, good luck to them,” Cowell said later in his interview with Seacrest.
Cowell and Seacrest went on to determine who would be lower on the American Idol winner totem pole- determining Taylor Hicks and Ruben Studdard were the only ones worse than Kris. Um… 100 million votes were cast and Kris won by a lot. Obviously America chose the right person. The only really true Idol successful winners have been Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and David Cook. Chris Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson didn’t even make top three.
I really like Simon and respect his honesty, but sometimes he just needs to learn when to shut up. He tried his hardest to get American to vote for Adam. He practically begged us to… But Kris won. Get over it!!!

As if it wasn’t bad enough dating Simon Cowell all those years, television personality Terri Seymour was attacked and choked Tuesday night outside the Nokia Theater after the filming of American Idol. Now the assailant’s sitting in a jail cell- classy lady.
Janice Thibodeaux, 33, remained jailed Wednesday on nearly $54,000 bail for suspicion of felony battery, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Norma Eisenman. Officers chased Thibodeaux for a short time before catching her, Eisenman said.
“It was all so sudden,” Seymour said in an “Extra” interview Wednesday. “Very scary.” She said the woman asked her if she was on television and when she answered yes, Thibodeaux grabbed her. “The next thing I know, this woman had me in a headlock and tried to choke me,” Seymour is quoted as saying.
People are really nutjobs. Seriously… What did Terri Seymour ever do to her? Now, cross my family and I might choke you, but this is ridiculous!

Most of America was shocked when Allison Iraheta was sent packing this week on American Idol. But Allison herself knew it was coming. Here she shares about her time on the show, the critiques she received, and why she knew it was her time. Check out the highlights:
I simply do not think you ever got the credit you deserved. Do you think you did?
I mean, I don’t know. I honestly don’t know. It was weird. Sometimes I would get criticized for what I would wear and I’d be like, Wait. What about the way I sang? But I guess this whole thing is about a package and they want to see you as a recording artist. It’s all for the best, though.
I have to say, the second Ryan said that Kris was safe, I knew you were going home. Did you have a bad feeling last night?
I knew I was going even before that. I had a feeling. Something told me that that was it. First of all, I was in the bottom three more than anyone. So I just warmed up for the song before the show, which I did every time there was a results show. And it paid off.
Don’t you feel bitter that you went home after such a great performance of ”Cry Baby” and Danny Gokey got to stay after hitting a note that even he mocked?
Honestly, I don’t know what to say. It’s hard. Danny Gokey is an amazing singer. As well as Kris and Adam. It’s a hard call. I’m bummed. More than being off the show, even, I miss them. Being away from them hurts the most. Being eliminated? I was going to get eliminated at one point or another.
Simon is so much nicer off camera. Did he say anything to you last night after the show?
Yeah, he actually said that he really appreciated that I stood up for myself. And I said, you know what? It was about time. He’s such a great guy, though. And he knows his stuff.
Allison’s a talented young girl with a huge career ahead of her. She has a unique voice and can put her “stamp” on any song. Though I totally believe the best three artists are headed to the semi-finals, I do think the clothing critiques from the judges were undeserved. Stylists come with winning the show! We wish you all the best, Allison!

A lot of us freaked out after hearing that Simon Cowell might be leaving American Idol after next year. His contract will run out and he’s tired of spending his life traveling back and forth from England. So now after the uproar, he has clarified his previous statements:
“I have a great attachment to American Idol, but with all the other shows I’m juggling, at some point, a decision has to be made,” Cowell said in a written statement obtained by the Los Angeles Times on Monday. “Right now, the only certainty is that I’m still on Idol, still love doing it and still have a year under contract. So, while I’m looking at all options for the future, I haven’t made any decisions.”
Wow, I feel much better now. That’s about as clear as mud, Simon.

Oh Simon, say it ain’t so!! Will the most legit judge on American Idol soon be leaving the show? The Brit spends half of his life on transcontinental flights from America to England where he films Britain’s Got Talent and The X-Factor. After years of living without a social life, Simon Cowell might be ready to give something up, and it looks like we will be on the losing end.
“Most people do one show a year and I do three. It just so happens that one is in America and two are in England and they do involve a lot of traveling. One may have to go. I don’t know how to decide which one. That is the problem, I like all of them,” Cowell told the U.K.’s The Mirror newspaper in a Saturday report.
“I can’t imagine not doing Britain’s Got Talent and I can’t imagine not doing X Factor. But I guess America is more likely to go because I have got one year under contract. Maybe that will be the end.”
What would American Idol be without Simon Cowell? Last December he said it’ll be just fine.
“It could still continue without me. I’ve always believed that,” he told reporters… “This show is successful all over the world and I’m only on American Idol. I’ll make a decision next year as to what I do as an on-screen judge because there is a big, big schedule now and I do two other shows, so it’s been hard. I think that this show could continue for another 10, 20 years, to be honest with you.”
Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson are legit… So maybe Simon and Paula Abdul will both go and we can trade them for one more really good judge. What do you think? Can American Idol make it without Simon?

Despite telling Simon Cowell that she didn’t care if he liked her performance, American Idol’s most recently ousted contestant Megan Joy swears she did care about the competition. The 23 year old divorced, tattooed, gorgeous mom from Utah woke up on Wednesday and knew she was going home. In a media conference call on Thursday, Megan dished about her experience on the mega-hit show and why she acted the way she did during the results hour.
“No regrets ever. I wouldn’t take anything back. I was happy to go the way I did,” Joy told reporters. “I just was honest. I cared about the competition. I didn’t want people to misunderstand me not caring, I just didn’t care that Simon didn’t like my song. I couldn’t help but be honest”…”I think his opinion of me changed a little bit,” Joy said. “I mean, he was pretty hard on me. I think that he likes me, maybe just as much as he did, but maybe just not for this competition. But I got no beef with Simon and I don’t think he really has any for me.”
Following her elimination, Joy said that she was sad to be going home but was easily able to take solace in seeing her two-year-old son for the first time in weeks.
“I’m gonna hold him as long as he’ll let me, and try not to sob like a lunatic because I’m sure he’ll just be confused and scared. It’s gonna be beautiful,” Joy told reporters of her upcoming reunion with her son, which she said was currently scheduled to take place when she finally returned home on Wednesday. “I can’t wait.
I really liked Megan early in the competition- she was different, unique, and relevant. But the way she acted Wednesday night was just plain annoying. Go out with class like Michael Sarver, not like an idiot. Hopefully she will grow up, learn, and not repeat past mistakes. She won’t make it in the business acting like a diva before she has any success, I promise.

American Idol’s Simon Cowell is building his dream home in Beverly Hills, and quite a posh crib it is!
The $21.8 million house features:
a state-of-the-art gym in the basement, a luxury spa complete with wet steam room, a lap pool and the solarium… a separate butler’s quarters containing a servants’ kitchen… a library next to a ‘gallery’ where Cowell plans to hang his gold and platinum records and awards… a custom-made media room with a marble bar area and plush leather seating for 20 in a private cinema… a pool cabana with a retractable roof, wet bar and changing rooms and… a putting green at the rear of the property.
I’m betting, though, that Simon’s favorite feature of his new abode is probably a “full-length tanning machine and a smaller ‘booster’ facial tanner.” Gotta keep that sun-kissed look fresh!
Cowell has been working on the 11,550 sq ft mansion for two years. His neighbors will include Tom Cruise, Madonna, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and the Beckhams.

Simon Cowell is quite the stud for the age he is now, it’s okay everyone you can admit it. I think he is. And if Simon asked me out I would probably say yes, too. These pictures were sent to the Sun and they are when Simon was 19. I have to say, Simon is just like wine, he gets better with age, because honestly if I saw him back then I would have laughed. He reminds me of John Travolta in Staying Alive! (And it was probably the same year too!)

Simon Cowell has dumped the fourth judge on the panel of the UK version of American Idol, Britain’s Got Talent. Much like AI, the show decided to change things up by adding another judge. Unfortunately for model/actress Kelly Cook, she got canned.
“The format of the show is cleaner and less complicated with just three judges, which was not fully appreciated ahead of filming,” a spokeswoman for the production company TalkbackThames said in a statement posted on the show’s Web site Tuesday. “Producers reviewed the tapes over the weekend and although Kelly brings a huge amount of warmth to the show and we’ve loved having her on board, the complications it adds to the filming process and format of the show means that unfortunately, and with huge regret, we have agreed with ITV not to proceed with a fourth judge.”
“I have genuinely enjoyed working with Kelly. She is absolutely lovely and a complete professional,” added Cowell. “But it’s become clear the format doesn’t support another judge and we will never add a fourth judge to the panel.”
The original judges are all safe: Amanda Holden, Piers Morgan and Simon Cowell. I wonder if Kara DioGuardi’s job is in jeopary now, too?

Simon Cowell and Terri Seymour have faced a boatload of rumors since their break-up, and in their first television interview, they cleared the air.
When asked why they broke up, Simon Cowell replied, Because Terri decided to dump meYou sent me a text. Terri Seymour responded, I didnt dump youJust time. We had a great six years and were the best of friends.
Despite the breakup, the couple still talks every day. Simon Cowell said, I do call Terri, first, when Ive got an issue or Im moaning about something, or I want to bounce an idea off. Terri Seymour responded, We do speak more now on the phone all the time. Its true.
One of the biggest rumors that has been circulating since the breakup is that Simon Cowell gave Terri Seymour $9 million (5 million pounds) as a parting gift. Cowell clarified, That is actually not a true story. If anything I should be getting the money. Rumors come around, just people read things, then they create a story. But no, there was no 5 million pounds, no.
Dang… I was kind of beginning to like Simon for sharing his money. Oh well. And I have never understand the break up and be best friends thing. I could never do it.

Looks like the guy we all love to hate just gained another hater. American Idol judge Simon Cowell has split up with former model and British television presenter girlfriend Teri Seymour.
Cowell, 48, and Seymour, 34, first met 16 years ago and have been dating since 2002. The breakup was first reported by the Daily Mirror and was confirmed to People magazine by Cowell’s representative.
“Terri phoned Simon and finished it in September, about six weeks ago,” Cowell’s publicist Max Clifford said. “They are going to remain close friends. Simon thinks the world of Terri and that isn’t going to change. He also understands her reason for ending it. … In the past, Terri has said that she wants kids, but that just isn’t Simon. Nobody else is involved, certainly not on Simon’s side.”
I wonder if he was half as critical of her as he was the contestants.
