Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes threw a nice, little birthday bash for their sweet Suri’s 3rd year of life on this earth.  They wanted to keep it small and private.  But, of course the paps wanted a piece of the action and since they weren’t invited, they took to the air via helicopter and Tomkat called the cops on them, no surprise there.  I think that Suri had every right to have a pap-free party and they should have stayed away.  By the time the LAPD flew over, the paps were gone.

So, Suri had a great birthday party anyhow.  All is well and Suri is on her way to 4……I wonder if she’ll be a big sis by her 4th birthday……?

Today Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s baby girl, Suri turns 3.  This little princess is going to be having a smaller birthday party with family and her little friends.  There will be a Beauty and the Beast cake and a treasure hunt!  How fun!!

Happy Birthday to you, Suri!  We hope that your day is super fun and very special!

Suri is a very busy little 3 year old.  She is learning a lot already.  She takes Spanish and French lessons.  And loves dance a lot so she’s taking ballet, tap, and modern dance.  Wow!  That’s a lot…..I wonder how often she gets to play with her dolls?

If you’re Tom Cruise, it’s never too early to start teaching your daughter about Xenu.  Suri Cruise is about to turn three, and she’s all set to start preschool at the Scientology-related New Village Academy.

The Los Angeles school was launched last year by Will and Jada Smith, who continue to claim they are not Scientologists.   In fact, they deny that the school is a Scientology school.  However, this is evidently what Suri can expect when she starts school:

“It is staffed by trained Scientologists and lists ‘study technology’ as a key curricular focus. The children have a lot of responsibilities from a very young age…The school is particularly strict about nutrition, demanding a low-carb, low-sodium and low-sugar organic diet.”

And at the New Village Academy, apparently only perfection is acceptable:

Upon completion of a subject chapter such as in math, the teacher sends the student to the testing room, where he/she is given an test in various forms. If the student scores anything less than 100%, the examinations teacher will sit down with the student and go over the part of the exam that was not fully understood and make sure the student understands all of the words and concepts in the chapter. The teacher will also make sure the student did not skip any concepts which would inhibit learning. This is done to help students so that they gain 100% mastery.

Wow, that sounds like hours and hours of tail wagging fun.  Poor little Suri just learned to walk recently, and now she’s got to get 100% on her math tests?  At least she’ll be the most stylin’ girl in the preschool class!

Katie Holmes had some one on one time with her cutie pie, Suri on Sunday morning.  The girls headed out for an early brunch at Le Pain Quotidien bakery in Beverly Hills.  How fun!  I’m loving Suri’s shoes, makes me wish I was little again.

Can you believe that Suri will be turning 3 next month?!  I can’t believe it!  Time is going by so fast.  I wonder what kind of party she will have?  Will it be over the top or quietly controlled by Daddy (Tom Cruise)?

Suri Cruise is an absolute doll.� I think she is one of the cutest little celeb girls out there.� She is looking just like her mommy, Katie Holmes.

I think that it’s freaky how Katie has been brainwashed and sucked into the whole Scientology thing and I am afraid Suri is in for it too.

Tom Cruise is a nut job.� Of course he will control Suri’s complete existence just as he has done to Katie, only worse.� SCARY.� SAD.� Booooo.� Why can’t an alien abduct Tom??�� ooooohhhhhh�� aaaaahhhhhhhh…..

After an exhausting European promotional tour for his new movie �Valkyrie�, actor Tom Cruise offered his family, wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri, a relaxing vacation time in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At least for a couple of days the Cruises will be enjoying the warm weather and visiting local sites of interest before the Brazilian �Valkyrie� premiere on Tuesday (Feb. 3rd).

Although the couple and daughter seem to be pretty at ease and comfortable walking at the beach in Rio, there is a high security level (including bodyguards and local police officers) surrounding them and the Copacabana Palace Hotel, where they are staying!

OK, perhaps that’s not entirely fair, after all,�Suri Cruise IS two years old.� But Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are ALWAYS carrying her, so sometimes I wonder.� Actually, I think that makes these photos of her pushing her Cabbage Patch Doll (with hair that matches Suri’s of course) in a dolly stroller that much cuter.� And it’s evident that Katie has coached her to keep her�head down around the paparazzi.� Good girl,�Suri!

In just six months, Katie Holmes has spent more money than most people can hope to earn in a lifetime.

New York, where she’s been living while appearing on Broadway in All My Sons, is the lucky beneficiary of her largesse.� She’s reportedly dropped approximately $14.4M since she moved there in July.

Now, to be perfectly fair, the vast majority of that has gone to real estate.�� Katie and hubby Tom Cruise purchased three additional apartments in the building where they already owned property.� The rest supposedly breaks down as follows:

– $13,987 on child care and taking [Suri] out
– an estimated $7,315 on dining out at top restaurants such as brasserie Balthazar, and sushi restaurant Nobu
– more than $17,000 on clothes for Holmes and Suri from shops like Hermes and Bonpoint
– and $5,415 on cultural activities, including a trip to Broadway show The Little Mermaid and to see Tina Turner perform at Madison Square Garden.

Something about this list doesn’t add up – well, several things, actually.� When are they paying for child care?� Suri is with them all the time!� And they must have spent that entire $17K on clothes for Suri, because Katie’s style has gone entirely down the toilet ever since she landed in New York!

Anyhow, thanks to her spending habits, the New York Post has dubbed Katie “Manhattan’s Most Valued Shopper.”� Gotta love that tax revenue!

Katie Holmes carrying Suri and Tom Cruise arrived at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New Yokr for another night of Broadway�s �All My Sons� and they took some time to smile and sign autographs. Only Suri didn�t seem really comfortable with all the attention and screaming fans � she better get used to it (poor kid!).

The Cruises reportedly have been receiving death threats from the anti-Scientology group Anonymous but they seem quite at ease interacting with the fans, especially Tom. Of course they have some men in black and gorilla-bodyguards for protection but it was very nice to make those fans waiting in the cold happy.

Somehow Entertainment Tonight got ahold of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ Christmas card.� I am so sure they sent one to Mary Hart. *eyeroll*

These are pretty.� Plain, but 100% classy.� What I want to know is why Katie’s name is signed “Kate.”� I understand Tom has been calling her that lately, but is this her idea or his?� Or maybe Xenu‘s??
