The brand new poster for Taylor Lautner‘s non Twilight movie – Abdutction – is out.

Lautner gets his turn as action star in the film where he plays a young guy who finds out his whole identity is false.

The official synopsis:

“What would you do if you found your own picture on a missing persons website?  Teen Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) finds himself facing this very dilemma. Setting out to uncover his real identity, Nathan quickly learns his parents are far from who they say they are. When the police, government agents and shadowy figures start to pursue him, Nathan’s quest for the truth erupts into a full-blown “Bourne”-like man-on-the-run thriller.”

Abduction also stars Sigourney Weaver, Lily Collins, Alfred Molina, Maria Bello and Jason Issacs. The film is directed by John Singleton and is in theaters on September 23rd.

So many Twilight: Breaking Dawn goodies!

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson pair up for the latest movie poster for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. But Bella and Edward aren’t the only pair on this poster – Alice (Ashley Greene) and Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) are cuddled together; Carlisle (Peter Facinelli) and Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) are united and Emmett (Kellan Lutz) holds on tight to Rosalie (Nikki Reed.)

Everybody has their supernatural better half except poor Jacob (Taylor Lautner) who is all alone and scowling. Can’t blame a wolf for being angry amidst all that happiness, now can you?

Fans have been itching for more from Twilight: Breaking Dawn and Comic-Con delivered.

The second to last film in the epic vampire saga won’t hit theaters until much later this year but Part 1 has the most anticipated scene of all the Twilight films – the honeymoon/sex scene between Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson.)

Pattinson, Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed and more came to San Diego and debuted a couple of clips for fans and press: the honeymoon scene and Jacob (Lautner) having a woodsy showdown with his former wolf-pack.

The videos below are unofficial and low quality but you get a peek at what’s to come. One is only audio but it gives you a sense of how hot the Rob and Kristen scene will get.

Where oh where can you go to get you’re football fix with the NFL lockout underway? A cornfield in Iowa, that’s where!

Taylor Lautner builds it so they will come in a new Funny or Die video that takes the Kevin Costner baseball classic movie Field of Dreams and gives it a gridiron and pigskin tilt.

Helping Taylor lure the masses to the non-regulation field with a tractor in the middle is Ray Liotta, Dennis Haysbert and NFL players Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis and Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson, to Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez and Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney.

Costner himself makes a appearance at the end as Lautner’s dad.

Twilight costars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner headed out to the Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE for the L.A. Film Festival premiere of A Better Life earlier this week.

Directed by their Twilight Saga: New Moon helmer, Christopher Weitz, the pair were supporting their friend and his new movie about the illegal immigrant experience.

Stewart, 21, played it casual in cuffed, dark indigo jeans and a gray v-neck tee she paired with peep toe heels.

Lautner, 19, wore a matching set of black pants and vest with a dark blue gray shirt and coordinating pocket square.

Kristen’s On The Road costar Garrett Hedlund popped in to the premiere as well.

Here’s the latest poster for the upcoming movie Abduction starring teen heartthrob Taylor Lautner.

This poster is really trying to sell Lautner as an action star. This movie will certainly show if that’s true, one way or the other. I’m hoping his acting abilities have evolved, he’s not the most believable on screen. The storyline in this movie seems compelling enough, I’m just hoping Lautner can carry it. What do you think?

Taylor Lautner walked the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, June 5th at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles.

The Twilight Saga star kept it casual and low key in Dolce & Gabbana as he took the stage to present with his Eclipse costars, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

Lautner’s girlfriend, Lily Collins also hit the Awards show (and no, they did not hit the red carpet together.) The Mortal Instruments actress also wore Dolce & Gabbana to the event.

Here’s the poster for the upcoming movie Abduction starring Taylor Lautner.

This poster isn’t exactly telling of the story. It’s clearly aimed at pulling in all of Lautner‘s fans, I just hope the movie doesn’t just play solely to those fans. I’m really hoping the movie has some redeeming qualities, not just Lautner running around and shouting catchy action movie phrases.

Here’s the trailer for the new movie Abduction starring Taylor Lautner.

It’s hard to believe this movie is from the same director who made Boyz n the Hood (John Singleton)!  I’m actually surprised, the trailer isn’t as bad as I expected. Maybe not high art here, but it looks like a compelling story line to some degree. Taylor Lautner looks like he’s grown a bit as an actor since Twilight. Do you think it will be good?
