Macy’s Herald Square store was the scene on Thursday for the launch of Taylor Swift‘s first foray into the world of celebrity fragrance with her sweet offering: Wonderstruck.

Swift wore a black and silver striped sheer overlay with white slip dress from Tracy Reese and Miu Miu peep toe heels.

The 21 year-old singer said she having a scent of her own was something she wanted for a long time.

“I always wanted to have a fragrance ever since I started making music,” Swift shared at the launch. “I love how it has such an impact on people’s memories.”

Taylor also spilled she’s a fan of and is interested in collaborating with Bruno Mars, because “he has an incredible voice.”

The 45th Annual Country Music Association Awards are one of the year’s last big award shows before heading into the holidays and the nominees were announced today.

Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift are leading the pack with five nods and join Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley as the 4 artists with the most nominations.

They join Keith Urban as they duke it out for Entertainer of the Year. Paisley, Urban and Swift have previously taken the win, Aldean and Shelton are the newcomers this time around.

The Band Perry, Miranda Lambert and the Zac Brown Band follow with the second most nominations – they each earned four.

The 2011 CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood on November 9th and televised on ABC.

Pop-country cutie Taylor Swift may be in her early 20s but she’s still rockin’ the sparkly princess look in the ad for her upcoming fragrance, Wonderstruck.

The crystal chandelier adorned photo was unveiled on her Facebook wall with Swift’s hair falling to one side and bright red lips.

The frothy and frilly dress by Project Runway winner and designer Christian Siriano was tailor-made for Taylor – pink, loads of ruffles and a sparkling silver belt.

Wonderstruck will be a combination of vanilla, peach, raspberry, honeysuckle, sandalwood and apple blossom scents. Swift’s fragrance is due in October.

It is the bane of every female celebrity – the dreaded (and sometimes wanted) wardrobe mafunction. Even Taylor Swift has succumbed to it.

The “Back to December” singer was performing in St. Louis when a wind machine at just the right angle caught the back of her skirt.

The quick thinking Swift immediately felt the extra breeze and pulled her dress back down, continuing on with her performance of “You Belong With Me” but not before the world got a chance to peep her “granny panties.”

The 21 year-old was wearing nude underwear to protect her modesty.

In short, this was nothing scandalous.

Taylor Swift is joining the ever-growing ranks of celebrities who launch a (usually very profitable) fragrance.

The country music star’s signature scent will hit stores in October and is called Wonderstruck. The name is taken from the lyrics in her song “Enchanted” which are “I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home.”

“Falling in love is a moment every girl daydreams about, and Wonderstruck represents that magical feeling of promise and hope and intrigue. It was fascinating to learn that you could layer so many different scents to create a beautiful end result.” Swift told WWD.

Swift is partnering with the Elizabeth Arden company to release a fragrance with hints of vanilla, peach, raspberry, honeysuckle, sandalwood and apple blossom it’s described as “a gourmand floral … a charming and sparkling surprise of vibrant fruits, kissed by a bouquet of soft petals and a touch of sweet indulgence.”

The iridescent deep purple bottle is decorated with Taylor’s favorite charms: a birdcage, a Monrovian star and a dove. Swift’s lucky number 13 will be gold embossed on the packaging.

“I share personal life experiences through my music, and my fragrance will allow me to share these experiences with my fans in a completely different and new way,” Swift said.

The August magazine covers are beginning to stream in and Teen Vogue gives us an 80s high school yearbook photo of Taylor Swift. The hair, the make-up, the soft fuzzy sweater – you see it, right?

Well not matter. The ever-adorable Swift, 21, chats with the magazine about nerves, her TV best friend, her love of glittery dresses (you don’t say…) and her friends:

Award shows and nerves: “I do [get nervous]. But only if I’m not sure what the audience thinks of me, like at award shows. I never look down at the front row! My heroes watching = nerves!”

Hanging with the SVU gang: “Detective Olivia Benson from Law & Order SVU I sit in my apartment and watch hours of that show. So I sort of feel like me and Olivia are BFFs.”

Not all her friends are in show business: “My friends all have different jobs — some I get to see at award shows, some I see when they’re home from college, some are in my band! I’m so lucky to have so many people I love and trust.”

This one is predictable – the dress she loves most: “I get to wear it every night on tour at the end of the show when I’m singing ‘Love Story.’ It’s long and sparkly (big surprise, right?) and a total princess dress.”

Everyone’s got an opinion on celebrity fashion, and since we don’t have good Mr. Blackwell with us anymore to tell us who looks the best, we have to make do with other critics’ commentary.  To wit:   the good folks over at the New York Post‘s PopWrap have compiled a list of the Most Stylish Stars 21 & Under.

This is a list of some very fashionable young ladies, and I do mean young – included are 13 year old Elle Fanning and 14 year old True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld.  The list ranges from the expected (Emma Watson, for example) to the not nearly so well known, but up and coming, Lucy Hale.

The 2011 CMT Music Awards took place in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday June 8th.

Hosted by Kid Rock, some of the night’s performers included The Band Perry, Big & Rich, Toby Keith and Rock, who performed with Wynonna Judd and Sheryl Crow (seperately.)

Some of the nights biggest winners were unable to attend including Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.

Mary Steenburgen, Gary Busey, Hines Ward and Kristin Chenoweth were among the non-country music entertainers who presented.

Gorgeous Taylor Swift sparkled all the way down the red carpet of the 2011 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22nd.

The “Back to December” singer chose a superb soft pink and beige beaded and embellished strapless gown from Elie Saab. The 21 year-old kept her hair down and straight with minimal accessories to complete her look.

Taylor is up for seven different awards at the ceremony.
