We already knew Sharon Osbourne had little control over her sharp tongue, but I think she’s taken it a little too far this time.  She’s gone after Susan Boyle!  She made these comments on The Opie & Anthony Show:

“You just want to say, ‘God bless — and here’s a Gillette razor.’ [God] gave her the talent, but he hit her with a [bleep]ing ugly stick. I like everybody to do well, even somebody that looks like a slapped [bleep]. God bless her. She does look like a hairy [bleep]hole.”

Damn!  What did Susan Boyle do to her?  I thought Susan looked incredible in her Harper‘s makeover photo shoot.  I think it’s great that she doesn’t give in to the pressure to look that way every day, though.

Now Susan’s fans are calling for Sharon’s removal from America’s Got Talent.  Are her comments enough to get her fired?  Drop a comment and tell us!

Abigail Spencer plays sexy Suzanne Farrell on Mad Men, keeping Jon Hamm‘s Don Draper “hot for teacher”!  Everyone on that show is ridiculously attractive, don’t you think?  Abigail shared her simple beauty secrets with OK! Magazine.

“I’m definitely a minimalist,  I think working from the inside out is always good,” adds Abigail. “You can’t just focus it all on the outside. Start with making sure that you don’t eat too much junk food, that you’re sleeping and that you’re drinking enough water.”

And what’s her current beauty obsession?  Cherry ChapStick.  Talk about old school!  And speaking of old school, enjoy these retro-elegant shots of Abigail.

Bea Arthur died in April, but even after her death she is doing good.  The Golden Girl‘s estate just granted $300,000 to the Ali Forney Center in New York City.  The Center runs “emergency and transitional housing as well as health and family programs for at risk LGBT teens and young adults.”

Bea’s gift will be used to purchase a building that will house 12 additional youth.  It will be named in her honor.

What a generous contribution!

Actress Courteney Cox Arquette is getting some help from one of her famous Friends.  Lisa Kudrow will be playing a mean dermatologist on Courteney’s new sitcom Cougar Town.

“If it all works out, she’ll play a dermatologist that my character can’t stop going to even though the doctor is mean to me,” Cox Arquette, 45, tells TV Guide. “She’s the best in town at what she does and I become addicted.”

Will any more of her former co-stars be joining the show?

“I did ask Matthew [Perry] if he’d play my boyfriend on the show,” she said. “He thought it was a little too much after Chandler and Monica.”

Matthew and Courteney played Chandler and Monica, a married couple, on Friends.

What about Jennifer Aniston?

“I’d love for her to be on the show, too. Obviously we can’t cast her so close to Lisa’s appearance but if there’s a great part for her, I’d send it right away.”

Jennifer Aniston also joined Courteney on Cox’s last show Dirt.

Jenna Elfman is now five months pregnant with her second child, and she says this pregnancy isn’t anything like her first one (with son Story Elias).  In fact, the whole first trimester kicked her butt – making filming her new TV show Accidentally on Purpose extra challenging:

“I was massively tired and had nausea and I didn’t have any of that during my first pregnancy…I was filming the show with insomnia and nausea and then going home to a two-year-old who’s very active.

It was a bit daunting. But I’m past the first three months now and I feel like my head is screwed on better.”

Ugh!  The first trimester of pregnancy can be a bear!  Glad to hear Jenna’s feeling better now.  She and hubby Bodhi Elfman will need plenty of energy to keep up with a baby and a toddler!

Well, I knew this was coming, but hearing it announced makes it more real.   Kathryn Erbe, Vincent D’Onofrio and Eric Bogosian are all expected to be phased out of Law & Order:  Criminal Intent during the upcoming season, the show’s ninth.

Jeff Goldblum, whose style fits more with USA Network’s preference for “lighter fare,” will continue as the lead detective on the show.  Saffron Burrows will partner with him as a replacement for Julianne Nicholson, who recently left the show to have a baby.

Given all the cast and character changes on CI the last few seasons, Eames and Goren were the one stable, lasting element of the show.  The buzz is that D’Onofrio might be back occasionally in guest spots, but to me, this show will not be the same without Eames and Goren.   I better enjoy this last season with them while I can!

Hottie Jon Hamm plays Don Draper on AMC’s Mad Men, but in real life he’s no mysterious lothario like his character.  He shared a bit about his past (no stolen identities) and his philosophy on life with Barbara O’Dair.

On his early life:

I lost both of my parents at a relatively young age and bounced around various families and homes and friends and groups for quite awhile.  If there’s any connection between Don Draper and me, it’s understanding that where you come from isn’t necessarily as important as where you are.

On deciding on an acting career:

I started acting in grade school and kept returning to it in high school and college.  Theater departments are usually a big collection of orphans and screwups – kind of lost tribes – and I found kinship there.  When I started thinking about what to do with the rest of my life, acting was the only  thing I kept coming back to.

On the wisdom that comes with age:

There is no one answer to happiness, despite what advertising or politics or entertainment tells you.  Everybody has a different definition.  The main thing is to [stay true to] your own happiness.  To say, Okay, this is what I feel, this is what I think is important, and this is what I am going to pursue.  Oh, and while you’re pursuing your own happiness, don’t hurt anyone along the way.

Wise words!  Too bad Jon didn’t win an Emmy this year…

Eve LaRue of CSI:Miami showed up at the ALMA Awards looking just about as cheap as cheap can be.  Her dress looks like she bought it off the rack at one of those prom dress stores at the ghetto mall.  You know which one I’m talking about!   How chintzy is this fabric?  But the cheaper the dress, the better the potential nip slip, right?    And what goes best with a cheap dress?  A spray tan the color of your co-star’s hair dye!

But that’s not even the best part.  Now you know if you wear showgirl shoes like these, your feet are naturally going to get a lot of attention.  So you’d want them to look their best, no?

Apparently, no.

Eve, Eve, Eve.  If you didn’t have time for a pedicure, at the very least you could have slapped a little Wet ‘n Wild on your toes before leaving the house.   Seriously, this whole get-up is one big fat FAIL.

Jennie Garth looked cute at the Entertainment Weekly & Women In Film pre-Emmy party at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood.

From the neck up, that is.

What in the world?  The elements of her outfit alone are not bad.  The dress is not the most flattering thing she could wear, but it would be fine with a cute pair of shoes (and a better bra – her right boob is all wonky).  The shoes are nice, and would actually look fine with the leggings and a great top – but all she’s done by putting all this together is make herself look like she’s about seven years old.  Or been getting fashion tips from Lindsay Lohan.

Selena Gomez might play one of the most annoying characters on television (Alex Russo on The Wizards Of Waverly Place) but there was nothing annoying about her appearance on the ALMA Awards red carpet on Thursday night!  She was all class and glamour in a pale pink one-shoulder dress with a short train.   Seriously, this is very well done, age appropriate for a 17 year old, and very flattering.   And I love her loose up-do.

I’m sure she made Taylor Lautner‘s heart go pitter patter!  And I’m sure Selena was thrilled – she took home an award!
