Jason Mesnick burned Melissa Rycroft for Molly Malaney on The Bachelor.  It looks like that is paying off for the soon to be married man.

Jason Mesnick proposed to Molly Malaney in New Zealand during their romantic getaway.  Of course Molly accepted the proposal.

So now we will wait and see how fast they throw this wedding together.  Will they be in a race to tie the knot before Melissa Rycroft and Tye Strickland?

Lots of us have been wondering who the next Bachelor will be and it looks like we might have found our man!  He wasn’t the right guy for Jillian Harris, but Jake Pavelka is going to get the chance to find the right girl for himself.

According to Brittney Gammel, a girl from Tennessee that tried out for the show, Jake has been chosen as the next Bachelor and the show is firing up production next month.  The season premiere will be in January.

ABC won’t confirm anything.  Instead, they are hyping it up and will officially reveal the choice for the next Bachelor on Dancing With The Stars on October 13th.

Sorry if I ruined the element of surprise for you!  But, I was jsut so excited!  Can’t wait for this season!  I think Jake Pavelka will make a great Bachelor!

Bachelorette, Jillian Harris is going to be living with her man, Ed Swiderski at his bachelor pad in Chicago in just a couple of days and well, the place definitely needed a makeover.  Thankfully, that is what Jilly is really good at!

“When I first saw it, there was a lot of brick and dark brown leather and wood,” says Harris, who’s moving in with Ed Swiderski on Sept. 14. “There were socks and underwear lying around the place.”

When Ed went out of town, Jill took advantage of the time and made some critical changes after a power shopping spree,

“Pottery Barn, Z Gallerie and Bed, Bath and Beyond,” Harris says. “I tried to keep it masculine, but I replaced some of his dark brown cushions with some cream and light green to lighten it up a bit.”

Of course Ed was on board with the changes,

“I liked it,” he says. “There are things I like but would never go out of my way to shop for like pillows. I just don’t do that. But I like it a lot.”

I think it’s good to make the place theirs rather than his.  It will make Jill feel more like it’s her home as well.  Nice work girl!

This could be a very interesting new season of The Bachelor.  In Touch Weekly is reporting that there is going to be an All-Star cast coming up,

There will be “a one-time reunion of past contestants” and “is set to begin filming in January and will launch with a three-day Mexican cruise.”

That would be crazy!  They are going to be pulling people from the very beginning of the show.  If this is all legit, I think that this could be the highest ratings the show has ever seen!  Who doesn’t want to see the past come back on such a juicy, drama/booze filled show?  It’s going to be fabulous!

The latest Bachelorette couple, Jillian Haris and Ed Swiderski are doing fine.  There might be a lot of rumors going about Ed’s cheating ways and lies.  But, according to Melissa Rycroft, Ed and Jilly are fine….( I don’t know that I believe it)

“Jill’s good!” Melissa said at the Victoria’s Secret Beauty launch for Heavenly Enchanted, where she was joined by her fiancé, Tye Strickland. “She’s so resilient. I know [she] and Ed are madly in love, and they’re supporting each other. Nothing’s easy when you’re in the public eye, but they’re working through it. I love her and I wish her the best.”

Someone who still isn’t wishing Melissa the best is her ex, Jason Mesnick or his sloppy second choice, Molly Melaney.  They still seem to think they did no wrong by breaking Melissa’s heart for all the world to see.

“I don’t know how many old relationships will extend a congratulation hand to new relationships. I guess we haven’t even really thought about it.”

Melissa is the better, stronger person who has been able to move on.  And she got a much better catch with Tye Strickland.  I am so happy for her!  They just bought a house in Texas and won’t move into it until after the wedding…

“It’s very important to us to not leave our roots and family and friends. We’re gonna do it the old-fashioned way”

Congrats again!  I can’t wait to see wedding pictures!

For all the Bachelor’s we’ve been through, we are finally getting to see only the second one actually get married.  It’s not to his flame from the show of course, Aaron Buerge is marrying the girl he got mustard on that he met through his ex-girlfriend!

Aaron will be saying ‘I do’ to Angye McIntosh (33), a commercial insurance agent on August 8th in their hometown of  Springfield, MO.

Congrats to the happy couple!  Aaron, I am glad that after all this time you found the one!  You make a beautiful couple!

He may have changed his mind while on the Bachelor, but Jason Mesnick is certain he made the right choice now. Jason, and Molly Malaney, have been seeing each other since the season ended, and Jason is sure they are going to get married. The couple stopped by Good Morning America where he said “things are going great” and they will “absolutely someday” get married.

While they are currently “doing the distance thing right now”, Molly plans to move from Milwaukee to Seattle to be closer to Jason and his son.

I just hope he doesn’t change his mind all over again.

She may have come in third on Dancing with the Stars, and second on The Bachelor, but Melissa Rycroft is in first place with Tye Strickland, as the gorgeous duo were engaged on June 26th. The cutie All-American girl announced the big news on GMA this morning.

Strickland, who was a frequent audience member during Rycroft’s season eight Dancing stint, popped the question to the Dallas beauty at White’s Chapel in Southlake, Texas. The couple later joined their respective parents for a celebratory meal at the Brio Tuscan Grille before heading out later in the evening to a reception with more family and close friends. No wedding date has been set.

Melissa and Tye had previously been great friends and dated before her stint on The Bachelor. After d-bag Jason Mesnick dumped her on national tv, she found comfort in Tye’s big, beautiful arms.

We are SO happy for Melissa! Tye is such a hot, hunky beefcake- Jason Mesnick, eat your heart out!

There has already been a leak in The Bachelorette ending- Kypton Locke (who is considered a favorite to win Jillian Harris‘ heart) has reportedly already signed on as the next Bachelor. If that’s true and we follow previous circumstances, it probably means he came in second place.

Personally, I am ready for the cycle of all these rejected suitors getting another chance to go away. Why can’t we just get a regular dude that’s never been on tv before and give him a shot? It’s becoming so incestual! Bradley Womack doesn’t choose Deanna Pappas, so she’s The Bachelorette. Deanna Pappas doesn’t pick Jason Mesnick, so he’s The Bachelor. Weirdo Jillian Harris comes in third place after some wacked out situations, and she gets to be The Bachelorette… And now one of her rejectees gets his turn?

This is becoming quite ridiculous. There are thousands of quality bachelors out there that actually deserve at shot at this.

Though her television-produced romances on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette didn’t work out, Jen Schefft has married her dream man, Joe Waterman, afterall!

“We clicked early on, and it happened so fast,” she said. “We just got along so well, and it was so easy. I never worried when I’d see him again or when he’d call.”

And a month after getting engaged, Schefft was laid off from her sales job, pushing her to have a smaller, more affordable wedding.

The small ceremony - which she promised wouldn’t include any roses a la The Bachelor and The Bachelorette - included fewer than 100 guests. “You don’t want to exclude anyone, but I just wanted close friends and family,” she said. “It’s about Joe and me, not entertaining 400 people.”

Amen, sister! Congrats to the happy couple, and may many years of happiness follow them. It seems like they have a true, meaningful, connected relationship and we wish them all the best!

It may not be happily ever after for The Bachelor Jason Mesnick and his second choice gal Molly Malaney. According to a “close friend”, the duo barely see each other and she’s losing the spark for him. SHOCKING!

According to a close friend cited by In Touch, Molly Malaney, 24, is no longer enamored of the single father - and is considering breaking up with him over Easter weekend, when the two plan to meet up in in his home city of Seattle. “The more she sees Jason, the less she likes him” a friend reveals.

The supposed “friend” adds that Molly doesn’t trust Jason Mesnick after what he did to Melissa Rycroft, the 25-year-old he initially gave the final rose to on The Bachelor, then dumped for Molly on the “After the Final Rose” special. “Let’s face it, (Molly) was his second choice,” a second source says of runner-up Malaney and Rycroft, who went on to shine on Dancing with the Stars. “He has a history of being fickle.”

“Jason expects her to quit her job and move,” the source says. “Molly’s not giving up her life unless she’s 100 percent sure that he’s committed.”

Right now, the relationship is shaky at best. The two talk via Skype almost every night on the computer, but the source says she hasn’t gone to Seattle to visit Jason, since March 3 - and hasn’t seen his son Ty, 4, since the show’s finale. “It’s make-or-break time,” the friend explains.

Well, if this is true, The Bachelor would have an impressive track record of 0-13. Wow ABC!! Yet we all still watch… What’s wrong with us?

I never liked Jillian Harris when she was on Jason Mesnick’s The Bachelor, and was disgusted when she was chosen as the new Bachelorette (even though she was third choice). Now it looks like the rest of America will agree with me by the time her season is over. Turns out she’s the female Jason Mesnick!!

“Everyone who saw Jillian got the idea that she is a goody-two-shoes,” the source says. “They will reveal that she’s capable of creating controversy. The producers would love it if The Bachelorette ends as dramatically as The Bachelor.”

On The Bachelorette, she’ll be pitting guys against each other, and “You’ll see her manipulating them in ways previous Bachelorettes haven’t,” the insider says.

“You may see her lying about what she’s really looking for. She may not be a fan favorite by the time she’s down to her final choice, but it’s all about ratings.”

Great! I am so excited! We get to watch another fake person show their true colors, screwing people over along the way all in the name of “good tv”. I don’t know about you, but I could use some more genuinely nice, down-to-earth people on the tube in the days we are living in. Geesh, ABC!

He may have dumped her on national television, but Jason Mesnick is wishing Melissa Rycroft the best of luck on Dancing with the Stars.

“I am so excited for Melissa,” Mesnick told Extra in a Monday report.  “I know she has danced her whole life and she must be excited for the opportunity. I hope and think she will win it all.”

Jason wants to play nice, but we all know deep-down who he is now. Sorry, dude… the act has been exposed!! Even Andrew Firestone thinks you’re a loser!

Melissa landed in second place after last night’s performance, having only 48 hours to rehearse. She’s going to go far, and her 15 minutes of fame will last a lot longer!
