The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson has had her share of tough times in the past.  She opened up her heart and that scary past to L&S,

Vicki’s first husband, Michael J. Wolfsmith was an alcoholic. He abused me verbally. He had many affairs during our marriage.” During one especially horrifying incident, while Vicki was holding baby Michael on her lap, “he went to hit me,” Vicki says. While he didn’t end up striking her, she was consumed with fear. “I was 23 years old and pregnant for the second time,” Vicki recalls. “I was really scared.”

VIcki ended up divorcing Michael after 6 years of terror.  Those were the worst years of her life, they  ”were filled with screaming. I had to be his mother. I’d throw cold water on him to wake him up for work. It was a very hard life.”

Turning 30 brought her to a place where she knew she had to do something,  ”It was a pivotal point in my life,” she explains. “I didn’t want to live my 30s the way I’d lived my 20s. I wasn’t happy. I wasn’t loved.”

How sad is that?  I am so glad that Vivki finally stood up for herself and got rid of the douche!  I will never understand how woman put up with abusive men!  Verbal abuse is a horrible thing, it can hurt a lot more than a fist.  VIcki got rid of Michael and found the love of her life in Donn Gunvalson whom she has happily been married to for 15 years.

Kudos to you, Vicki.  I hope women out there hear your story and follow your lead OUT of their nasty relationships.

The Real Housewives of Orange County is shrinking people!  Well, in a sense it is. Jeana Keough has has her fill of cat fights and drama and is going to pursue another avenue in her life, focusing on her career.  Jeana chatted with L.A. Times:

On why she’s leaving the show: Work. My real estate just went down two-thirds because I wasn’t around the summer to do the open houses and do the things that make me successful… The market changed horribly. And me taking off four months in the height of the season was just really hard on me. I needed a summer to get my business back on track… I needed to focus on my income.

On the Tamra-Gretchen feud: I told Tamra many, many times: “It’s none of your business. One guy woke you up one night. Get over it. Say you’re sorry.” We actually did an appearance where she apologized on TV. She wanted to do it on TV so everyone would know. She did apologize. She wanted to move on. But, of course, the episode came out and it brought up bad feelings. Hopefully, it’s done now and we can move on.

On upcoming projects: I have lots of things going on right now. I’m working on a book. Keeping myself busy. It’s a book about my life – being from Wisconsin; being a Playmate and the Hollywood lifestyle and taking a break and coming back to reality TV wonderland.

So do you think the housewives get a bad rap for the lavish lifestyles they have? Well, you know, all of our lifestyles have changed. Everyone has turned in a couple of cars and downsized. Some of them are downsizing their homes. I think we’re showing an accurate portrayal of Orange County. Everyone in Orange County has been affected. From my housekeeper — there are some things I won’t give up: the pool man, the plant man and the housekeeper. I will walk before I give them up. I can’t stand a green pool and I love green plants. And I want a clean toilet.

So will you still tune in every Thursday? Oh, of course.

I would be watching more intently than ever now girl!  It will be great to watch the rest of the girls tear each other up while you’re in the safety of your own world!  Good luck to you, Jeana!

Gretchen Rossi is one of the ‘hottest’ internet topics going these days.  If you are unaware, Gretchen Rossi is one of the ‘Real Wives‘ down in Orange County.  She is also putting herself out there as one of the ‘scankiest’ women on television.  Between her naked pictures (see them HERE) and now these new, dirty pictures of her in bed with her vibrator.  Well, let’s just say that Gretchen’s reputation will never recover from this scandal. Unless of course this is what she was going for.  Perhaps she and her flavor of the week, Slade Smiley love all of this negative attention.  Sometimes fame is fame no matter what, right?  Gretchen sure tried to play the ‘innocent card’ on the season premiere (watch her in action here).  Does she really expect sympathy?  Who takes those kinds of pictures of themselves?!  Wow.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season five had an explosive start last night (November 5th) on Bravo.  Holy DRAMA.  Those woman can’t be in the room together for more than a second without the nasty claws coming out.

Gretchen Rossi and Tamra Barney were at each other’s throats during their “meal.”  Talk about low blows!    This was definitely the highlight of the premiere.  If you missed it or would like to see it again, enjoy the video….

I can’t wait to watch this fight play out….all season long!  These ladies are dirty in MORE than one way and it’s all for our viewing pleasure!  Let the cat fights continue!  See you next week!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes has proven herself to be one tough cookie in many ways and she is all about doing it again.  NeNe recently lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks and she dished to Ok! all about it,

“My trainer has taught me to eat breakfast, She said, ‘NeNe, you have to bite something in the morning to get your metabolism going.’ So I’ve learned to do that, and it works.”

“Then I eat my lunch: lots of salads with chicken,” she added. “I love to go out to eat for dinner, [but] I never order an entrée. The portion sizes today are very large. So I’ll order an appetizer.”

She hasn’t been with her trainer for long, but she is seeing positive results already,

“About 14 days. If she comes to my house, we walk through the neighborhood with weights, If I go to her studio, I take a group class or do one-on-one training.”

NeNe cut back on a lot of things BUT, she still enjoys her fave,

“I cut back, but I’m not giving up my potato chips,” she explained.

NeNe will still be sipping on cocktails like normal, just a little less…

“I like my sweet cocktails, but I know they have a lot of calories, I can still treat myself — I just can’t drink every day.”

That sounds fair enough to me! It’s too hard to just let go of it all, that just makes you miserable and then you fail.  NeNe is doing it the right way for sure.

“I feel good. To be honest, I like my size. I’m a 10, and I don’t think that’s fat,” NeNe explained. “I’m almost 6 feet. If I were a size 4, I would look anorexic, and I don’t want to look like that. It’s more about getting healthy.”

You go girl! Keep up the good work! You look great!

The Real Housewife of New York City, Ramona Singer hacked off her long, beautiful hair on August 20th.  SHe did this right before a major red carpet appearance too!  Eeek!

Apparently Ramona “wanted to shake things up”  and she certainly did.  Now she is regretting the chop job after just a couple of days living with it,  “I’d never do it again,” she whined at the Mercedes- Benz Polo Challenge at Bridgehampton’s Blue Star Jets Field.

What do you think of Ramona SInger’s hair now?  Do you think it looks better longer?  I vote for longer.  The shorter cut ages her a lot.  She loses a lot of ‘hotness points’ with the cut….  But, at least she’s not taking her clothes off like Bethenny, right?
