Tina Fey is the cover girl for the January 2009 issue of Vanity Fair. Tina became popular in the last couple of months from her Sarah Palin spoofs. In the interview she talks about dating, voting, and her career. Here are some highlights.

On her physical flaws: “I don’t like my feet. I’m not crazy about anybody’s feet. But I have flat feet.”

On her Republican parents: “When I was 18 and registering to vote, my mom’s only instruction was ‘You just go in and pull the big Republican lever.’ That’s my welcome to adulthood. She’s like, ‘No, don’t even read it. Just pull the Republican lever.’”

Finally someone that hates feet as much as I do! I would love to just have a five minute interview with Tina, she sounds like a blast.

Actress Jennifer Aniston made a special appearance on “30 Rock” playing an old friend of Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) who sleeps with her boss Jack (Alec Baldwin) and things get out of hand when she starts stalking him.

Jennifer’s crazy sexy role included some very interesting outfits like a sexy French maid costume and there was even a passionate kiss with Alec Baldwin. Even though this episode had everything to succeed, it seems like that didn’t happen and the ratings were much lower than expected.

Sarah Palin (Tina Fey) and the real John McCain use the only airtime they can afford to get your vote at the QVC channel via SNL. As always Tina was fabulous (love the Palin in 2012 t-shirt!) and I was completely surprised by John McCain’s performance. McCain was cool, calm and actually funny… I didn’t know he could be funny!! LOL

McCain’s wife Cindy makes a special appearance as the jewelry lady! She does look good on TV. And I feel embarrassed to admit I would actually buy the limited edition of Joe action figures: Joe The Plumber, Joe Six-pack and Joe Biden!!!

Loved it! I think McCain’s appearance on SNL was probably more productive than the Obama’s infomercial, which put me to sleep instantly!!

Will Ferrell and Tina Fey reunited for the SNL Weekend Update Thursdays to play President Bush and “hot lady” Sarah Palin. Once again Tina nailed it, while Will finally came back from the dead to do something worth watching for at least 5 minutes (excuse me! I’m not a fan!).

At the very end of the sketch, when Darrell Hammond as John McCain arrives with Todd in his snowmobile gear, it just gets pretty uncomfortable. Of course Palin’s winks and sexy poses save the situation. It was funny but it still didn’t beat the Joe Biden and Palin’s debate skit!

Tina Fey and Sarah Palin’s performance on SNL will be one for the history books. It will be a long time before any one stops talking about it including Tina herself…

“When I first saw her, I didn’t think we looked alike at all. Then during the convention, I started to think, ‘OK, maybe a little.’ I expected people to be like, ‘Ahhh, we thought it’d be better than that.’ I stand by the pieces as both fair and quite gentle…We glue my ears down. That’s one of the tricks… I’ll tell you, that lady is five times better-looking than I am. She’s 44? She’s got none of that droopy s—. She’s keeping it tight!”

I also found out that they clue Tina’s ears back to make her more like Sarah. I couldn’t even imagine these two not looking alike now. And now because of it Tina is showing that girls do have power!

Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin finally made a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live not only for the opening sketch but also at the Weekend Update with the “Sarah Palin” rap (the woman can move!! Not much… but she can be the next VP, so she has to maintain some dignity!).

While Tina Fey as Palin was taking care of a press conference, the real Sarah Palin was backstage interacting with special guest stars Mark Wahlberg and Alec Baldwin. Sarah looks pretty comfortable in her own skin. I loved that she came out to do SNL. But of course the highlight would be when Sarah and Tina have to face each other at the end of the opening sketch.

Tina Fey went to the Late Show with David Letterman to promote a brand new season of 30 Rock but they ended up just talking about Tina’s return to Saturday Night Live to impersonate the Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Tina expressed her opinion about the most talked about woman of the moment and as a lot of people out there, she just thinks Sarah is not qualified for the job.

This week Tina admitted that if Sarah Palin wins she is leaving the face of the earth.

“We’re gonna take it week by week. If she wins, I’m done. I can’t do that for four years. And by ‘I’m done,’ I mean I’m leaving Earth.”

Fey also said it’s a busy but exciting time for SNL: “Election time is always good for [SNL] and this is a bonkers election,” she said. “And that lady is a media star. She is a fascinating person, she’s very likeable. She’s fun to play, and the two bits with Amy [Poehler], that was super fun,” Fey says.

The National Enquirer has tracked down one of Tina Fey’s high school dates, and he reveals a side of her that most of us probably don’t know about. The talented, gorgeous and funny Tina was viewed by her classmates as “an overweight nerd and ugly duckling.” Hard for me to believe!

Now-attorney David Leone, who was in high school plays with Tina, shares this story their date to the Snowball Dance:

It started out very promising… I picked her up at her parents’ house and was sur­prised and delighted to see how she’d transformed her­self from a plain Jane into a jaw-dropping knockout.

She always wore frumpy clothes to school that were too big, but now she had on this black-and-white dress that really had me going.

After the dance, we went to a Houlihan’s restaurant. Tina never had a boyfriend I knew of in high school, whereas I guess you could say I was something of a player.

At the restaurant, I came over to her side of the car and standing there, asked if I could kiss her. She said yes, but when I tried to give her a full-mouth French kiss, she recoiled and slapped me!

We still had dinner, but that certainly put a bit of a damper on the evening.”

Ha! Now I can completely see Tina smacking someone if she felt like they went too far.

We all know that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson hate Sarah Palin.   And what better way to show your disdain for any political figure than to lampoon them?   And what more natural time to lampoon anything than at Halloween?

Word has it that LiLo will dress as the Vice Presidential candidate for Halloween.  

The costume will include the glasses, the perky red suit and ample cleavage.

To “complete the package” LiLo will have the ultimate accessory - her honey SamRo as the First Man Of Alaska, Todd Palin.

The gorgeous and talented Tina Fey has signed a book deal with Little, Brown Book Group with a reported worth of over $5 million.

“her book is not being pitched as a memoir, but instead as nonfiction humor, more in the style of author, screenwriter and film director Nora Ephron.”

Now this is a book I’ll definitely be watching out for.  Congratulations, Tina - you so totally deserve it!

Tina Fey rocked Saturday Night Live last night with her pitch-perfect portrayal of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. And so far, Palin seems OK with the spoofs. But the Chicago Sun-Times has a tip that some in the McCain camp

including the governor herself — think a return punch on the NBC airwaves is what’s needed.

The source said that Palin may appear “on Thursday on the first of NBC’s ”Weekend Update” specials in prime time,” or possibly on the October 18th broadcast of SNL.

The material? It’s looking like a riff on Fey’s American Express commercials. Which, I must admit, are just begging to be spoofed, especially the one with her and Martin Scorsese. Check it out below - what do you think?

I can’t believe Tina did it again! She is absolutely fabulous, from the speech to the winks… OMG, Latifah’s face to Palin’s answers was just hilarious! I loved everything about this debate… best job ever! This is absolutely my favorite Palin sketch!

Fabulous Tina Fey gets back on Sarah Palin’s skin for the opening sketch of Saturday Night Live. Amy Poehler played Katie Couric in a funny remake of the interview with the Republican Vice Presidential candidate earlier this week.

Tina is amazing… Tina is a better Sarah Palin than Sarah Palin herself, but I’m still not sure who the better comedian is!!

It should have been called the Tina Fey Awards last night. Tina swept the Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony by winning three Emmys. Tina won for Best Actress In A Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing In A Comedy Series and Outstanding Comedy Series. She was humble accepting her awards saying…

“I want to thank my parents for somehow raising me to have confidence that is disproportionate with my looks and abilities. Well done, that is what all parents should do.”

Tina really has made a name for herself being a female writer. I know I can only wish that my writing will be as popular as her’s someday.

Looks like another star is putting their career down for a while in order to start a family. Here’s the scoop on SNL and Baby Mama star Amy Poehler.

“Saturday Night Live”’s Amy Poehler is leaving the long-running NBC comedy show to give birth to her first child and focus on other projects, the Los Angeles Times reports.But Poehler, 37, plans to stay on the show through the November election, according to the Times’ Envelope section.

Instead of returning to “SNL” after her maternity leave, Poehler will prepare to star in her own NBC series from the executive producers of “The Office,” the Envelope reports.

Poehler tells Men’s Vogue magazine: “It’s gonna be really hard - Boyz II Men hard - to say goodbye to yesterday. ‘SNL’ was dangerous, late-night, last-minute and star-studded, but, like any good drug, you need to know when to put it down.”

On “SNL”’s season premiere last Saturday, Poehler reprised her frequent portrayal of Hillary Clinton in a skit that also featured a Tina Fey parody of Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin.

Good for you, Amy!
