Barbara Walters annual special The 10 Most Fascinating People aired Thursday night on ABC and overall, what a snooze fest but BWalt did her best to give us 10 personalities that we couldn’t stop talking about. So here is the list:

Betty White. Now Betty is all sorts of fabulous, but what’s more interesting is that in a culture so obsessed with youth (Bieber, Cyrus, The Twilight crew,) the octogenarian is still relevant. Is this a trend?

Mark Zuckerberg. Rehashed clips of the Facebook creator and inspiration for the movie The Social Network. I yawned twice while typing that. And this could have been something solid – he is quirky and challenging and even if he wouldn’t agree to a sit down, this segment was dull.

Justin Bieber. I have nothing against Bieber but this felt like Walters trying to get tweens and teens to watch the show. I am fascinated by the reaction his fans will have when he changes his hair. And I’m also very scared of it.

Jersey Shore Cast. I understand that I am in the minority here – but I really don’t get the fascination. Gym. Tan. Laundry. Barbara?

Sandra Bullock. Sympathetic absolutely. More than that – well,

Stunner Penelope Cruz tops a list of the ten most beautiful women in the world.  The list was compiled by British clothing maker Wizard Jeans.  Why did a maker of slimming, shapewear type jeans compile such a list?  I’m sure I don’t know. It’s wide-ranging, and is getting lots of buzz in the UK for choosing several older women, including bodacious bikini babe Helen Mirren.  So here goes:

1. Penelope Cruz
2. Claudia Schiffer
3. Kristin Scott Thomas
4. Queen Rania of Jordan
5. Catherine Deneuve
6. Dame Helen Mirren
7. Charlize Theron
8. Kate Beckinsale
9. Natascha McElhone

Hmm.  Not a lot of color on that list, if you feel me, and I think that’s a major oversight.  And Sophia Loren?  In her heyday for sure, but now?  I just don’t know.   But it cannot be denied that this is truly a set of gorgeous women!  What do you think, Cuddlers?  Comment and let us know!

This is a good list and I admit I haven’t seen An Education or Funny People yet, but now I have more reason with his seal of approval. I’m a little surprised that he has Observe and Report on there, I didn’t think that movie was all that great.

2009 has been one crazy year in the world of celebrity gossip and as it comes to a close, I am looking back on the men of 2009 that are deserving of a good ‘smack’ …or worse!

I have come up with 10 men that are complete Tools, perhaps you’d like to join me or you have some others that you’d like to take out back.

I will start here with number 10 and work my way up to the guy most deserving of the 2009 Tool title….Here goes:

10. Ray J - I don’t know if Ray J needs to be smacked or the execs over at VH1.  The fact that Ray J gets to have a show (For The Love Of Ray J) where he and a bus load of skanks get to share and spread every form of STDs is just plain wrong.  Who thinks up this crap?  And furthermore, what kind of people are actually fans of this crap?…oh wait, don’t answer that! So yes, I want to drop kick Ray J, mostly for being a self-indulged tool, incapable of keeping a real relationship and thinking he’s God’s gift to woman when all he really is to the ladies is ‘Plague J.’
