New ‘Valentine’s Day’ Featuring Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift

lautnerswift

Here’s the newest trailer for the upcoming star packed romantic comedy Valentine’s Day, coming out on February 12th, 2010. This one features Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift.

This trailer is certainly better than the last version, it seems the re-shoots might have actually helped. And clearly they added the stuff with Lautner and Swift to pull in a bigger audience. Regardless, I still have no interest in seeing this.

Star Packed New ‘Valentine’s Day’ Poster

Valentine's Day Poster

Here’s the newest poster for the romantic comedy, Valentine’s Day. It features  Ashton Kutcher, Emma Roberts, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Julia Roberts, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, Topher Grace and Bradley Cooper just to name a few.

This movie is packed with stars, but but that doesn’t nessesarily make it a great film. I know one of bit part actors in the film, and she said they were going back to re-shoot scenes they’d already finished. That may just mean test audiences didn’t like something and the studio wanted some things tweaked. In any case, this movie will be THE date movie for it’s upcoming Valentine’s Day release.

‘Spider-Man 4′ and ‘Venom’ are Coming

Both a Spider-Man sequel and a spin off based onVenom are in the pipeline.

Filmsy.com reports on Spider-Man 4:

Sam Raimi said that writer James Vanderbilt is about to finish the script to the next sequel. Raimi has gone on to say that he is excited to read the script and he hopes that it is good enough that he will want to be involved again.

Sony is hoping to release Spider-Man 4 in 2011, as for Venom Empire.com says:

Jacob Estes (Mean Creek) has already been commissioned to write a script, although The Hollywood Reporter says that Sony may decide to pass on that script and is looking at new writers. With no script in place, there’s no news on which version of Venom the movie would follow. It could be Eddie Brock (played by Topher Grace inSpider-Man 3, though Grace has not been approached to reprise his role), which would require some back-pedalling given the end of of Spidey 3, or it could be one of the later characters who are overtaken by the alien symbiote. If Sony was feeling particularly daring, it could even be a woman, based on the comic book lore.

Interesting stuff, but it looks like Venom won’t come until after Spider-Man 4. So now, all we can do is wait, and speculate.
